It was near dusk and the sun had lowered itself into the cradle of mountain peeks. Snow Dancer kicked her way through what was left of the snow that coated the ground. Stretching her star studded wings at her sides, her long banged falling across her face. The young mare stopped to shake them away from her eyes. "Dratted things, why couldn't something have trimmed them?" The mare muttered peering around from behind her bangs.
Squinting somewhat, she spots something in the distance, unsure of what it was. She started in that direction, with the night growing closer and the cold was creeping along the ground like fog. With feathers ruffling Snow Dancer moved towards the strange shrouded light that was growing brighter. Thus showing her that it was perhaps a human's dwelling? Giving a shake of her head, Snow looked around wondering if her eyes were playing tricks on her, or that it was real. Glancing around the dwelling, unaware that there might be others around.
