[OOC] Joining, Rank Changes, & New Litters

Ranks within the Bonelands region are not "stable" like in many other prides. Feel free to plot to your fullest with conflicts, etc. If joining or a rank change becomes a necessary part of your lion's story, please refer to the appropriate posts in this thread and fill out a form!

Note: Please see the ranks post before making a choice.

Also keep in mind when joining: Natural colors is the main rule; unnatural color accents (blues, greens) are acceptable, however.

When you are approved, you will be quoted and a green "approved" will be placed below your request. If there are things that need fixing or clarification, a question (or similar) will be placed in red beneath it. We do not require JRPs, so once your lion has been accepted, you may post for a cert.

If you would like an already existing member that is related to any of the others, please get permission from the player(s) of those lions who have a relation. I will assume you have done this already when you post. If you have an existing member that is not related to any existing members, or has "fake" parents within a group, simply post the form.

Keep in mind, for males to join, they have to have trust from the males and females of the group, and will have to prove to the males that they have no interest in their "females" OR they must become Enda.

Basic Info: Long ago, Ainra left her homeland of the Kusini'mwezi in order to remain close to her sister; afraid of being left alone. However, as time passed, the lonliness of rogue life began to take its toll and it was with some reluctance, that she parted with her sister's nomadic group to find a place for herself. Kind, gentle and extremely motherly, Ainra has wanted nothing more than to be in a place where she can feel part of a family.
Brief Personality: Extremely loyal and laidback, Ainra's good nature can make her an easy target for manipulation. She sees the best in everyone, even when there's none to be found, and remains blissfully unaware of the darker side of life. Dedicated, loyal and sweet of nature, she adores cubs and has a tendency to fuss over others, whether they are young or old.
Brief History: Joining rogue so no group currently. Ainra was once of the Kusini'mwezi, until her sister decided to leave. Not wanting to be left alone, Ainra decide to join her on her journey. But, whilst her sister was working to create a group of seer-nomads who would weed out criminals, Ainra was content to tag along and enjoy the company. Her adoration of her sister led her to having two flings (both with gods) to have seer children in order to help her sister's cause. Now that all her children are grown and gone and true-love has evaded her, Ainra is looking for the next best thing: a family within a pride. So, having grown weary of life as a rogue, she is looking to settle so that she might find a piece of true happiness rather than being a part of someone else's.

Brief Personality: Shinda is a solid balance between maturity and playfulness, since she takes great care in acknowledging the mood around her. She holds high hope in the belief that the glass is always 'half full', and often keeps herself in the company of kits to uphold that cheery attitude.

Born as the only daughter in a litter of boys, Shinda grew up tough and fast. She was not a dainty girl that was afraid of mud and tackles, that's for certain. But even so, she was still sensitive on the inside, behaving almost like a second mother to her rambunctious brothers and keeping them in line. During her juvenile years, while out with her brothers they were chased away and seperated by a pack of ruthless hyenas. Shinda became lost in the night, and since then has grown up away from her family. Her one and only friend is Havilah, who found her in the roguelands and became her devoted guard.

Brief Personality: A gentle giant, Havilah is someone you could always count on. Be it a shoulder to cry on or a claw to scratch your back, he doesn't mind. He tends to be pessimistic, but never to the point of being moody.
Brief History: (group: light?)
He grew up in a ....capable enough family. But even with its small hiccups, Havilah is proud and fond of his kin and childhood, and would do anything to see his family again. Once he became of age, Havilah went roaming aimlessly through the roguelands. It wasn't long before he came across Shinda, and he grew charmed by her mellow spunk. In brotherly nature, he vowed to protect her on their travels, though overtime he's felt obliviously drawn all the more bonded to her. (not aware of this/ not a breeding scheme)

Just wanted to say I have seen this! I just got back from Hawai'i, so wasn't able to get to internet until now.

The girl is definitely good to go on her own, but I would like to double check with Indu on whether or not the boy would be reasonably accepted.

I am unsure of whether or not you want him to have been born in the pride, find Shinda, and is now returning? Or whether he is from outside the pride originally and is attempting joining with Shinda?

As for Havilah, he was born from a first-time mother in the roguelands. So while she was very protective of her offspring (ICly one was presumed stillborn and she's been sensitive since then), I could imagine that he gets seperated from her while still young. 83' He could have joined the pride then, but for the sake of IC bloodlines I don't want to risk just saying he was born directly into the pride. So if he must join at a different date from Shinda (before or after) Iwouldn't mind. n_n

That would be best! You can have him hanging around, if you'd like, and get some RP with the females, to show he has interest. Then, it can be seen how it evolves ICly?

I'll let Indu know, since Gakere would need to trust the male before he was officially let in and to be "officially accepted" you'd get an RP with her. Acceptance would be part IC and part activity in the pride.

If you're okay with this, then I'll add him to the owner's list as a prospect, but again, it would be a combo IC/OOC participation as to whether he officially becomes a member.

Basic Info: Coming to the Ithambo from a far-away pride that got a bit too crowde for her liking, Mhisani was pleased to find the pride much like her own - While the stance on males differed between her birth pride and the Ithambo, she found the preference to natural colors most comforting. She hopes to find some friends amid the girls in the pride.
Brief Personality: Open and bold, Mhisani isn't afraid to take the initiative. At least, when it comes to hunting. In a group discussion, she'll simply follow along. Why waste time talking when she could spend time hunting, or perfecting her hunt? This is not to say that she would disobey the lead huntress - She'll obey in a hearbeat so long as it didn't mean death or dishonor.
Brief History: When she was a cub, Mhisani lived in a pride much like the Ithambo. The only two differences were that cubs with strange, non-natural colorings that belonge more on birds, reptiles, and fish were either kille or driven out, and males were permitted to remain. One of the biggest similarities, though, was that males guarded and females hunted, never to mix ranks. While Mhisani loved her pride, her family, the way about everything... She found it a bit crowded for her liking and left. Eventually she found the Ithambo and, after hanging around the borders a while, finally decided to seek membership. She has no idea a plague swept through her home pride.

Basic Info: After a soul-searching journey in the rogue lands and overcoming an unrequited love, Akita finally feels like an adult and has settled into her own skin. She's quick to befriend others (or at least try to--she can be a little rough), but part of her always feels competitive when it comes to the other lionesses. She is secretly self-conscious of how stocky she is.

Akita came from a tightly-knit pride full of family and close family friends. One of those close family friends was her best friend--a male whom she grew up with and came to love. But it was unconfessed and clearly unrequited. Seeing no future for herself there, the secretly broken-hearted lioness made the decision to cut ties and find her own way. Her journey led her to the Bonelands, and now she calls it home.
