Ivan smirked looking down at the snow beneath him as he flew looking for a nice place to land. It was so peaceful out here that he was calming quickly though, there was no way that he was going to just let the peace continue and... This field had been full of sunflowers last time he had visited which was why he had wanted to visit. It must be the snow's fault for this horror. All the poor sunflowers must be dead buried alive by the awful snow that covered the ground. Glareing at the snow for a few moment's he sighed. "Snow you should give me back my sunflower's da? They are important to me and far prettier than you are. You should be punished for harming all of the sunflower's."
He was talking to the sunflowers now not quite understanding that the snow was not alive and could not in fact, be punished as he was putting it. Not that he wasn't trying to do so anyway's. The snow was gradually getting stirred up in a pile as he swing the pipe he carried with him about trying to reach the sunflower's underneath the snow. Ivan never could quite understand that the flowers always died this time of year and would be growing again in a few months time. He frowned now that he had reached the hard packed dirt and dead grass under the snow a frown on his face as he proceeded to act like a small child who had not gotten his way, not that he didn't act like that most of the time anyway's.

She'd taken to haunting the open spaces and the woods more since winter had settled in. Not that she preferred being cold by any means, but that HQ building was a lot... busier now. Vic wasn't anything even remotely resembling a social butterfly, and staying somewhere that had a large group people crammed into it was not her idea of a tenable situation. Nor was she particularly inclined to stay with that guy she'd been... spending "time" with. That was entirely casual and not even on a particularly frequent basis, and that was the way she wanted it to stay.
Lost in her little bout of self-contemplation as she was her ears alerted her to Ivan's temper tantrum several times before she registered it fully. Was there some kid out here? Fussy kids... she hated dealing with fussy kids. But she felt obligated to at least make sure he wasn't out here by himself. That seemed a lot more common with these creatures than with humans.
Plodding reluctantly toward the source of the noise she was forced to pause and re-evaluate the situation when she saw who was actually throwing the fit. She wasn't really entirely familiar with kitsusagi maturation rates, but he sure as hell looked grown. And he was acting like a three year old for no reason she could figure out. "What the..."
She should walk away, right now. She knew she should, it would save her a hell of a headache later. She just couldn't figure out why she wasn't doing that.

Ivan looked up as the others Kitsu walked into the clearing hearing her footsteps on the snow. There was another out here? what was another Kitsu doing out here and to think they had heard his little outburst. "I am sorry you had to hear that, I was a bit angry at the snow. This field is normally covered by beautiful suflower's and the snow take's them away every year." He liked his Sunflowers and hated when winter drove them to die.
"Now who might you be? I have not seen you around before, but you look intereseting, da?" He smiled that childish and creepy smile of his and looking directly at her. He was happy to be meeting someone new he hadn't met someone new in such a long time.

He was mad at the snow. Because of sunflowers. Maybe this guy really did have the mentality of a three year old. Though after that smile... she found him unsettling more than irritating. "...Winter tends to take out the warm weather plants, yeah. Maybe you should try a green house."
She would have rolled her eyes at his commentary about her looking interesting, except that as far as she could tell, kitsusagi wearing clothing like they were actually were pretty uncommon over all. So yeah, maybe she did. And while she still had that little voice in the back of her head telling her she'd regret not leaving while she had the chance... well ********, she was bored and he was being civil, even if he was a weirdo.
Also it was probably about time to start feeling out a few more potential contacts to call on. If she could get back into the bounty business she'd need them... and even if this guy wasn't useful himself, he might know someone who was. She'd have to stick around for a chat before she'd have any idea, as much as she didn't really want to.
"You can call me Vic. How about you?"

Ivan gave a little chuckle at her idea of him going to a green house instead of trying to find more sunflower's and getting mad when there where none. "I can't do that. Sunflower's should be out in the open where they can feel the wind and sunlight. Without it they would be sad, and I can't have my sunflower's getting sad. They have to be happy or it mean's someone should be getting hurt Da?"Ivan let out a generally creepy laugh after he said this oh he knew about the creepy effect he had on people honestly he did it on purpose.
He thought that any sort of reaction he could get out of others was an amazing thing that had to happen again. Even better if it was a creeped out reaction. He loved causing every little shiver and shake that he could. It was so nice to use it every now and then just to get reactions out of anyone he could. The screams were even better the crunch that sounded when his pipe his flesh and bone was such a noce noise. It meant no one would forget him ever it meant that his victem would be either broken or scarred for life by the time he was finished.
Turning back to the femalse Kitsu that was talking to him he realised that she was talking to him. "My name is Ivan Braginsky it is nice to meet you Da?" He said this to her while thinking in his mind how nice it would be to add her to his collection back at home, she would make a nice new servant in his den.

This guy had more than one screw loose, Vic was becoming quite convinced of that fact. The way he said things, and the laugh... yeah, he was probably a nutjob. She really should have kept walking. "Well, most plants go on vacation in winter, take a long nap. Seems kind of like a d**k move to want them to stay out all the time even after they're all tired and droopy at the end of the summer." Talk about flowers like they had a mind to think with, why not. Hell for all she knew some of the plants here did. She hadn't really thought about that before...
She was pretty sure sunflowers were just sunflowers, though.
Nice to meet, yeah, sure. "If you think so, sure." She'd maintained a fairly deadpan expression and tone of voice so far, but something about the way Ivan was looking at her was seriously starting to make her skin crawl. This didn't seem to be going anywhere, in any case, maybe she'd just leave...

Ivan looked at her. "Sunflower's go away yes but I thik they should stay here. I do not like the snow, It is cold and harsh da? When the sunflower's leave it means the snow will be coming soon. So I blame the snow for the sunflower's leaving." It was true he hated snow the fact that the sunflowers couldn't be out with the snow just made it even worse. So in his eyes it just made the snow seem even worse. The girl obviously doubted him he could tell she thought he was crazy, perhaps she was right though, if anything to a far worse severity than she was understanding. His insanity was all a ploy, cover up the mind behind everything with a mask of insanity and you start to become insane yourself.
Noticing the the other seemed a bit on edge he let a layer of his mask fall seeming more childish now than actually insane. "I have something warm to eat and drink back at my home, if you would like to join me... I haven't had another over in quite a long time. I would be nice to have some company, instead of being alone for once~" The childishness in his voice was obvious like a child hoping the other would agree to his idea for a game.

She didn't forget the crazy-man attitude simply because the facade had changed. Vic's eyes drooped closed just a bit, looking at the fellow before her with half-lidded eyes and a quirked eyebrow. The <********> she was going home with him. "Think I'll pass. Hope your sunflowers come back soon, or whatever." With that she stood and turned to leave, like she should have at the start.
