I've started engaging in self harm behavior. Please, someone help me, I'm scared, I don't wanna do this.

You share this with me actually. Does it feel when ever anything goes wrong you're to blame? You don't want to yell at or hit others so you attack your self?

It isn't easy to get past, I did that today much to my own chagrin, but I do know it is a sign of depression more so than excessive anger. I am sure you could talk to your family doctor and get referred to a counsellor that could help with dealing with such feelings and actions, and prescribe medicine if need be.

I would say that you're lucky if you have just started, because after so long, it becomes instinct and reaction to nearly all feelings of frustration.

But... lately, a lot of the things going wrong are my fault. I need to be punished for making things harder by not having a job.

Hitting yourself or otherwise harming yourself won't solve any problems. If you think the fact that you don't have a job is causing problems, then maybe you can look for a job. If you have been looking but haven't had any luck, maybe going back to school or doing some volunteer work would help spruce up your resume and make you more likely to get hired. A lot of colleges hire students too, and they also have counselors you can talk to for free. If none of that helps or is an option, maybe you can do more cooking, cleaning, and/or running errands to pull your weight around the house. Just taking that load off the people who do work outside the home can sometimes be a huge help.

Pretty much this. Additionally, find an outlet for your feelings - when you have the urge to hurt yourself, do something else. Go for a run, snap a rubber band on your wrist or ankle, do some exercise around the house, etc. Whatever it takes to take your mind off it until the feelings go away.

Sauvie also brought up a good point, which is that if you're having trouble controlling these feelings, talking to a counsellor/your doctor about them can help you get them under control. There are options, like medication or therapy or a combination of both.

You're not to blame for not having a job. Lots of people don't have jobs. It's normal and acceptable and there's nothing wrong with it. Lorien gave you lots of good tips on how to look for work, and if you need more we can help you find some. But don't turn your frustrations in on yourself, because it's not healthy and you could really hurt yourself. And if you're hurt, it could be harder to find a job, no?

Face bruises don't look the best during interviews, yes. <.<

I'm so glad my family sees the behavior as a cry for help. They've been very supportive. Just kidding. I happened to knock the closet door off the track smashing my face against it, and that's all mom cares about. So glad I can count on her support.
