Remeber, every SUNDAY!
When you ask a question, please wait for an answer. When you see someone else ask a question, please also wait for it to be answered.
We want to answer any and all questions that you have, but we are only human and can only answer one question at a time. Sometimes it might take us a moment to think of an answer that is clear, and sometimes it might require us to type up a lengthy response. I understand that you may not want to read what looks like a block of text from us, but when you ask the question then it is simple courtesy to accept the answer in whatever form it takes. As we are trying to make sure you get all the information you need and ask for we, in turn, appreciate your patience.
When your Hosts make a request, please respect it.
This is not a power trip. We are here because we know what we are doing.
Hosts generally have valuable experience when it comes to matters of the Annual Ball, so if a Host is making a clear, specific request it would benefit everyone present for that request to be respected at the very least. That is not to say that we are totalitarian... if you want to question the request then you are more than welcome, but please question it rather than ignore it. Chances are that when you question it you will get a reasonable answer and justification for the request.
Try to keep on topic(The majority of the time)
There's nothing wrong with having a good time. In fact, we hope you do! One of the benefits to having these meetings is that we will all get comfortable enough with one another to have fun both in planning and during the ball. However, we do still have an agenda to follow. Let's all try our best to remember why we're there while still having a good time.
And on the same note.... Remember that there will be other meetings.
Meetings... plural... means that there will be more! That means we don't need to come to a conclusion on everything that is brought up that evening. It's far too much to ask for the amount of time that is necessary to finish the planning necessary behind many of the topics that we plan to discuss each night. So, instead of trying to fit as much planning as possible into one evening, let's keep it simple. We can still be productive enough to get ahead without rushing our plans to the point of missing the details.
