"It's lovely out tonight, isn't it, darlings~" the Grand Bois cooed to the multitude of winged companions that surrounded her, almost like a cloud. The moths were rather blissful, especially thanks to how dark the night was, only the moon and few lanterns littered about the school grounds providing a dim glow. The nights were Evelyne-Aglaya's favorite times of the 24 hour cycle. So calm, and quiet, and the moths certainly enjoyed it too. They didn't have to hide in the safety of the little cloth she had on, and their joy of freedom was apparent in their demeanor. The demoness was laxly laying on the grass, roots beneath her waist assumed in the leg shape that they often coiled into. An arm was keeping her propped up, head turning ever so slightly from time to time to watch the fluttering display. It was a rather regal pose, as most of hers were, and indeed quite ghoul-like. Her parents taught her to be as such, and such principles were firmly instilled with the demon. It translated to everything she did, really. Poise, grace, every action, word, expression made held it thickly.
There were plenty of students out tonight, but most were too far off for her to greet, or too transfixed in their own little world to pay her any mind.It didn't bother her all that much, but she really would like to make some relations! She'd met two already, but... well, she should really be able to meet more! Her free hand lifted to stroke her skeleton marked Litter Bug, who was resting at her hip, brushing along the fluffy collar of fur that lined his neck. His bright red eyes narrowed to pleased slits, antenna laying back, tails lazily sliding off of her body to dangle off the side.

The zomboil had been bored, as he often got in the evenings when so many of his friends had gone to sleep and he lingered on, awake for eternity. He had tried to go to the library, only to be told that they were closed, for cleaning the carpets, and would be reopened by morning. He had many other books in his bedroom, to be sure, but had read them all at least once already, many of them several times, and he really just wanted something new and interesting to delve his mind into.
And so, instead of making the long slow trek back to his dorm room, the zombie known as Alex made his way out into the open air, a cool breeze blowing softly and ruffling through his thick white hair. Boredom had led to hunger, and at this time of the day...really, his only option was to hunt for his food.
But the zombie boil was naturally slow, and incredibly lazy. How was he ever going to be able to catch anything? Easy! He would just be patient. When he was all alone with his thoughts, as he was tonight, he could have endless patience.
It didn't take him long to find the perfect place, nestled between some shrubbery and a tree. He waited there, stone still, which was easy really when you didn't have to breathe, and waited.
It may have been minutes, it may have been hours, but eventually, an unsuspecting creature wandered by the other side of the shrub. He could here it's footsteps as it scuffled across the ground. He waited, and waited some more. He heard the scuffling stop. Perhaps the creature could sense some impending danger? Or more likely, it could smell the faint rot of zombie flesh.
Too late for the creature though, Alex's pale greenish hued arm shot out and through the shrub, fingers digging into something with soft fur. and then pulled it, kicking and squirming back through.
It would have been quite the sight to see, for anybody in the near vicinity. Just an arm, suddenly there, out of the darkness, then disappearing again.

As the 'night' went on, less and less individuals were to be seen on the streets, and the silence began to take it's reign of supremacy. It made the light flutterings of her moths more easier to hear, which were so delicate, one would have to have impeccable hearing to even pick up on it. But Evelyne-Aglaya had been around her lovelies for a long time, so she was naturally trained to their minute sounds.
They danced about in an array of intricate designs, much like avians when flying in flocks. This was common of them to do while the demoness was lounging. Much like a jester entertaining it's majesty. A light smile remained content on the ghoul's perfect lips, finger scritching the little Litter Bug's plumage moving around to stroke the slender wings as well. She paused, however, when her attention was caught by something a bit off to the left... a sudden motion, and it was gone. Instinctively, her eyes darted over to that area, only now seeing a bit of shrubbery shifting from being brushed. Curious... Slowly, she stood onto her feet, stretched her arms up... which in turn made her barely concealing top rise dangerously high, jewelry jingling softly, and relaxed her arms back down at her sides to calmly stroll towards the disturbed shrubbery.
Her pupils followed along, Litter Bug perching onto her shoulder, also picking up on their owners intrigue. Once close enough, Evelyne-Aglaya inspected the particular area of interest... before lightly calling out, "Hello~? Is someone there~?" a few of the moths flew ahead of her to take a look for themselves, hovering over the hidden zombie once he'd been found, which then alerted the demoness to progress further. Taking a peek over the vegetation, she smiled lightly at the crouched boil, "Oh, why hello there~" her smooth voice chimed.

Once Alex had the warm soft and fluffy creature safely secured in his little hiding place, he didn't hesitate. He brought it up to his mouth and bit into it, with the sound of small, crunching bones and a spill of warm blood down his chin to splatter softly on his shirt. He was crouched down on the balls of his feet, hands wrapped around his prize possessively.
A sound made him look up sharply, white eyes flashing eerily in the dim light. Was that...somebody heading over here? His eyes widened, as he looked up and saw moths hovering above him.
Oh Jack! he looked down at the furry creature in his hands, then back up again at the moths above. And then suddenly, there was a voice calling. He gulped heavily, already assuming the worst. He would have hid the animal behind his back, but the idea of pretending he hadn't done anything was fairly ridiculous, considering the fresh blood smeared across his face and the droplets on his shirt, so instead he stayed where he was, frozen, and a little bit worried.
Then a ghoul, a stranger to Alex, was peering over the shrubbery at him and before he even knew what he was doing he burst out "Oh Jack this wasn't your pet was it?? I'M SO SORRY!" but...but she was..smiling? And speaking to him in a rather kind manner as well.
".....This wasn't your pet, then?" he held up the now dead creature, it's blood still slowly pumping from the area that he had bitten off, and looked instantly relieved. Almost as an afterthought, he reached up an arm to wipe the blood off of his face with the sleeve of his shirt.

The moths all hovering over the zombie formed a circular formation, orbiting like a solar system. Also like a target. They often times did this when honing in on something that their ghoul master was searching for. It came in handy quite a lot. And it was cute.
The ghoul's covered eyes looked along the marred creature gripped in the boil's hands, smile unwavered. She did, however, perk a little from his exclamation, the moths fluttering higher in surprise, and returned to Evelyne-Aglaya for safety. Chuckling softly from their antic's, she smiled more to the distressed boil, shaking her head, and lifting a graceful arm to let a hand raise, "Oh no. Not at all. I've not seen it ever until just now." she replied. It was then that she took a good look at the hunched figure, hand raising to her lips, "Oh forgive me. You are a zombie, yes? I did not mean to interrupt your meal." she'd never met a zombie before, but had heard they were rather shameless of their eating habits. Then again, not ever creature was the same as the norm. All the moths that now perched on her stared at the zombie with as much intrigue as she, the skeleton clad Litter Bug's bright red eyes blinking only once in awhile in it's intent stare.
"Please, do continue. I can give you your privacy if you so like~" as if to demonstrate, she stood straight, and turned so that her side was to him, the moths fluttering to reassemble at different parts on her body once more. It was pleasant meeting new individuals here, and she certainly could wait for him to finish his catch. "I had caught a glimps of you from afar, and it caught my eye. I must admit, my curiosity gets the better of me, sometimes~" she so casually, and laxly spoke, that light chuckle rising towards the end of her words.

Alex found himself unable not to smile back at the ghoul, his eyes continuing to flicker up towards the moths that were now circling above him, and then back to her partially hidden face. He was squeezing the poor dead creature in his hands perhaps a little bit too tightly, as the blood was beginning to spill over them in a warm wash that made him hungry for more.
But this ghoul..something about her was so enticing, that he immediately began to rise, holding out one blood streaked hand towards her "No wait!" He blurted, while shaking out the stiffness in his skeletal leg, trying to get it to function properly. "I--it's really not a problem. I was only just sitting here so that I wouldn't be seen while hunting, but well..I think I'm about finished with that now." He grinned at her, his teeth stained with blood flashing in the dim light.
"I'm Alexander. Alexander Van Rotte...but uh, most people just call me Alex or occasionally Xander." Except for one particular weremantis, at least, who insisted on calling Alex by his full name (not that he minded in the least!). He shifted the hand that he had held out already so that it was within shaking distance of the ghoul.
"If you're looking for some company out here, and don't mind sharing it with me while I eat my dinner, I'll happily sit with you and..uh..chat?" It really was such a quiet and well, rather boring evening, Alex really did prefer he spent it with company rather then alone behind a shrub.

She perked up a little as the boil called back to her, peeking over to him curiously. Her smile grew a bit more at his explanation, body turning to face him fully again, moths again readjusting to sit at different locations on her, "Oh alright. I wouldn't want to cut you off early from a fresh meal~" She'd certainly never eaten by his methods before, but she could appreciate a just made/caught meal. It was something to be enjoyed, not rushed.
To most, his smell might have been quite pungent and displeasing, but for Evelyne-Aglaya, well.. she was used to it. Her family consisted of rather... aromatic demons, and she herself was a nature demon, so the scent of decay was quite common around her. When his name was given, her smile curled even more to show her pleasure, "My, my~ What a very tasteful name." she complimented, "Alexander Van Rotte." she let it slowly roll off the tongue, nodding subtly to show her approval. Alexander was classic, and elegant. Following her usual protocol, she gave a fluid curtsy to the boil, moths mimicking the same gesture, "I am Evelyne-Aglaya Yeva Verochka. It is a pleasure to meet you, Alexander~" her bangles, and neck jewelry made a clipped staccato jingle as they patted against her arms and chest from the motion. Straightening back up, she brightened even more, if that were possible, her moths returning to flutter about the zombie, landing on him daintily, "I would most certainly love to share your company, Alexander~" she turned slightly at an angle, and gestured with a lifted arm, towards the grass she'd been reclined on, "Perhaps you would enjoy the softeness of the grass I was settled on before?" She was quite thankful that the boil offered his company. It'd been a bit lonely, not knowing all that many students. Her moths and pets kept her from getting too lonely, but... it was nice to have fellow peer interaction.

He laughed, perhaps a little nervously, when she tested out his full name. It sounded so weird when she said it like that. So..very very formal. His family, from which he got his name from, were so very informal it was definitely a cause for laughter. He then nodded at her, when she gave him her name as well.
"That's...quite a mouthful!" He grinned, as he proceeded to step out of the bush, his movements somewhat clumsy and awkward. His eyes wandered to the moths as they began to alight upon his pale grey/green toned skin, admiring how very responsive they seemed to be to Evelyne-Aglaya. "Friends of yours?" he inquired about the moths, and then. "It would be a pleasure to keep you company! Wherever you are most comfortable sitting, I'll be fine."
His gaze followed her hand to where she pointed, and so, with prey still clutched tightly in hand, he began to make his painfully slow way towards the area she had indicated. "So, you're new here then?" He asked as they neared the soft grassy area and he practically collapsed himself to the ground. Without thinking, he brought the furry creature up to his mouth again, for another soft crunching bite into it's still barely warm flesh.

That soft, and smooth giggle rose from her again, legs casually starting to guide towards the patch of grass she'd designated, "Yes, so I'm told. I'm truthfully not sure what to shorten it down to. I quite like Evelyne-Aglaya, but... Oh I suppose that is quite a lot to say too, is it not?" she chuckled some more, shaking her head at the silly predicament, "I was called 'Ev' at one point. I do not like, nor dislike it.. if you'd like to call me by that, you're more than welcome to. Or you may concoct a new name entirely, or relevant!" a brilliant smile was aimed towards him once more, curious of his take on this. It was something she'd never really thought about.. nicknames. Everyone always pronounced full names at her home, so it was the norm.
A few moths buried into Alexander's hair, finding it the same sort of consistency and cushioning of their normal hosts. Head turning, the demoness looked to her winged companions, the corners of her lips curling further, "Ah yes. My darling little moth friends. They follow me everywhere~" as if to prove a point, a few seemingly appeared out of no where to swarm about her, crawling everywhere, and finding all sorts of places to hide, and cling, looking like tiny pieces of fabric swaying in the motions Evelyne-Aglaya took. "They seem to like you as well, Alexander." she pointed out. They were naturally pretty comfortable around others, and lacked any sort of personal-space awareness, but it wasn't too often they made themselves comfy in strangers hair or clothing.
Once they reached the grass she had been sitting on before, the demoness slowly eased on down with equal grace as she held with anything else she'd do. The moths that were on her adjusted, many laying on the grass around her to create a blanket of sorts. Her legs laid to one side of her, the tightly wound roots, mimicking the same formulation as muscles, unwound and became numerous strands. They proceeded to sink down into the earth, in a way anchoring the Grand Bois down. But it was a pleasant feeling.. and the nutrients were quite rich in this area. Must have been a lot of good fertilizer... "I am grateful for your courtesy, Alexander. I've been starved of pleasant company, asides from classes that is. But, there isn't much time to socialize, nor get to know someone then~" She didn't mind his feasting, nor did her moths, who all just remained calmly latched onto him in various area's, a few joining their comrades in the thick white hair as well. Arms back, to keep her propped up, the Grand Bois nodded slowly, "Yes, I've just been admitted last month. Slowly starting to get my bearings on the place. And what of you? How long have you been here?"
