I mus' say that SOPA and PIPA are terrible. I mean imagine all o' th' user generated pony stuffs on th' inta'net that'd be taken down. It'd be terrible
Also might as well get a thread in this here guild, tis slow
So, ponies and how th' inta'net would suck if'n SOPA and what not passed and got rid' o' ponies

But yeah, it sucks, EQD could easily be shut down, as could damn near any non-sanctioned fan site. Obama has said he would veto it though, so that's good...assuming he keeps his word that is,

I still haven't got it touched up, so photo's still waiting). I just like them in moderation, like everything else. The longest running devotion I've done, I think, was when my brother and I watched the Italian Job (not the old one) every day for a whole Summer break.

Hasbro could easily take down the FIM fan stuff already if they wanted to, (particularly the full episodes) but Hasbro is not only cool, they're smart: they acknowledge that the little subculture that's sprung up from the show, all the fan art and music remixes and memes only spread the word about the show. Let's face it: would you have given the show a chance, or even heard about it, if it wasn't for the massive brony fandom? cat_wink So even if SOPA passed, at least I know MLP will still be there for me. cat_whee

LOL that's probably it. cat_rofl Shoot, they even sell licensed merchandise directly for the older audience: T-shirts at Hot Topic. I bought one. cat_ninja I imagine they sell a good amount of the dolls, since they're so cheap. I hear that even the Blind Bags and the McDonald's Happy Meal toys run out quickly. cat_rofl
