Roll a Ten: Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

Genesis methodically threw and caught a Poké Ball in her hand as she made her way to an unoccupied arena. She was disguised as a male trainer this time and she pulled a worn cap low over her head to cast shadows over her face, further concealing her identity. The Rocket Grunt came to the Stadium often, and she didn't want too many people to recognize her, after all.
Hefting herself up to the trainer's stand on one end of the stage, she released the ball she had been throwing. In a blaze of white light, a Lucario formed.
"Ready?"
Hemera offered a soft "Lu," in response before swinging her head to assess the scene.

Naomi was nervous as she peeked into the arena. Not only was she new to the region, this was her first time battling in the stadium of the area. Seeing the other trainer already on the stand, she swallowed hard and ran over to her stand and climbed up to it. She was in such a rush, she had almost tripped. She managed to catch herself before she hurt herself, but her cheeks were completely flushed and she had missed who her opponent had thrown out. It was walking to the middle of the stand that she noticed the Lucario out on the field and her eyes widened. She was so enamored that she almost forgot to let her own Pokemon out.
"Come on Shadow, let's go get them!" She pulled the ball from her messenger bag and tossed it, an Absol forming from the light that spread from the ball
Absol stared out at his opponent, sneering in determination as he let out a 'Sol' in response.

Getting the go ahead to go first, Naomi prepped herself for battle. She knew that Shadow had no problems or worries, but she always got nervous for some odd reason. Getting her thoughts together, she called out, "Okay Shadow, Psycho cut!"
Without any hesitation, the Absol nodded. With that, the 'barb' on his head began to glow blue and extended. When it was fully charged, he shook his head multiple times toward his opponent, sending multiple light blue crescent blades in the direction.

Hemera had not expected the attack to come so soon, and she was thrown violently against the tire swing. She grimaced, the dirt and grass falling from her sides as she rose, and darted towards the Absol.
"Watch out," Genesis warned, speaking gruffly. She hadn't used her male voice much, but managed to call out, "Use Calm Mind, Lucario!"

Naomi felt a little bad as she watched the Lucario fly backwards from the attack. She worried if Shadow was the right choice to send out, knowing he can be rather aggressive when he battles. Seeing the Lucario get up, she was relieved, especially to see that she wasn't too harmed. Seeing her run to her Absol though, she called out, "Shadow, Flamethrower!"
Shadow watched the Lucario carefully as she was thrown into the tire swing. He growled lightly, remaining on guard as she got back up and ran toward him. He stood his ground, paws shifting into a more unmovable stance. At the command, he barked, lifting his head and opening his mouth. Soon, a stream of fire bursted through his open maw toward the approaching Pokemon

((Holy cow poop, talk about beginner luck. XD))
Genesis made a show of flinching sympathetically when she saw the strength of the following flamethrower. Giving Hemera an opportunity to retaliate, she called, "Now Cross Chop!"
Circling the Absol warily, Hemera licked the singed fur on her shoulder, still focusing her Calm Mind. Close range was not her style, but at Genesis' order, she she again ran up to the Absol and tried to hit him with Cross Chop.

Naomi looked on, worried as Shadow was hit with the harsh hit. When the Dark type returned to his feet, she paused for a brief moment before calling out. "Slash!"
Shadow went flying back some distance when he was hit with the attack. He growled as he got to his feet, shaking his head. With a determined glare, at the command, his claws started to glow white. He ran toward the Lucario and when he was upon her, attempted to swipe out at her with his claws.

Panting wearily, Hemera made no attempt to dodge. She took the brunt of her attack on her shoulder, and lashed out with another Cross Chop in retaliation.

Shadow yelped in surprise and pain as he was knocked back. Regaining his footing, he growled as he shook his head. Digging his paws into the ground, he opened his mouth to let out another Flamethrower.

"Drain Punch!" Genesis suddenly called, seeing Hemera was in trouble.
Obeying, Hemera took off towards the Absol. The flames bit at her fur and she was tiring, but not unable to continue. Streaking past the rest of the flamethrower, she struck out with a paw at her opponent.
