Cheshs TeepeeNyxs Teepee Ladys TeepeeChessur found himself standing alone once more. Such a lonely word and world. Alone. Where was he when he needed himself? Oh well, it wasn't as if he hadn't gotten used to the loneliness. It did happen quite often, and often times he had himself for company. It really just depended on the day, or how he was feeling. Or perhaps he wasn't alone? No, he was never alone. And yet he was alone now. Such a complicated word, such a complicated world it was.
The stallion stopped his train of thought and looked about him. He wasn't sure how he got here, did he walk this far? Or had Chessur? Regardless, he supposed that they were here now, one way or another. Looking around, he could see the sun was out and shining yet he was quite comfortable under the shade of a large elm. A few feet away lay a burbling stream and not much farther away he could see a herd in the distance. Perhaps they ought to stop and socialize? Or should they keep going? He wondered if he had had an actual destination when they started out. Perhaps he should ask. Chessur waited in silence for a few moments, waiting to see if his other self was awake and aware.

Chessur stirred awake after sleeping to the lulling footsteps of himself. After all he didn't have to be awake to walk did he? I mean really. He'd still be awake even if he was asleep. He felt a light jolt and focused on what was going on. Turning his head, he smirked. "We left something."
About two foot behind them was their leg, still standing there. Turning them around, he got the leg to come along. Darn it getting stuck from time to time. Nothing was quite as bad as the time they left it a mile back in the rain. It had been quite difficult to find.
A scent caught their nose. "Do you smell that?" There's someone near by...someone small...and alone.

Marnie climbed higher on the slight cliff. Her mother had told her not to go far, but seeing this cliff, she couldnt resist. She just had to test out her paws.
It had been another sunny day when her mother invited her on one of their daily adventures. Though lately they had been getting a little bland. There were just so many times you could go to a small pond and not get bored. So Marnie decided to test out her grip on the little cliff while her mother busied herself with the apple tree across the lake. She had often gazed up at the small waterfall and wondered what lay at the top of it.
She was quite proud of herself so far. Her back feet had only slipped two times, and her front paws had kept a nice grip on the rock. She finally pulled herself over the top, smiling as she saw grass and some trees speckled around. She took a deep breath, lungs filling with fresh warm grass as she pulled herself to stand on all fours. The top! It was so wonderous! The breeze was refreshing as it blew dropletts of water into her mane. Giggling as they tickled her ear. She began to dance with the dropletts, not even bothering to continue to look around her.

Chessur looked behind him when he spoke and watched as their leg caught up to their body. It popped back into place without so much as a sound or even a feeling. Perhaps at one point it had felt uncomfortable when he forgot his leg. Or perhaps it used to hurt when he put it back on. However, such a time had been long forgotten he supposed. Listening to himself, the glasgow looked around curiously, pricking their ears in one direction and then the next.
Not far from the stallion, he caught the sound of tiny hooves, or was that paws?, scrambling up the little cliff that they stood upon. Grinning, Chessur watched as a little filly came over edge and started about her business. The glasgow wondered if she had even spotted him. "What do you think she is?" He asked himself. "What do we do with her? Can we eat her?" He asked his grin widening further. "Do you think she tastes any good?"

Marnie sneezed again, the droplets she had been dancing with had invited themselves up her nose. The force of her sneeze making her back paws slip on the wet rock and fully sprawl herself on the waters edge. She looked over the small waterfall, glad she hadn't sneezed herself over the edge. Smiling sofltly as she spied her mother, still enjoying her apples.
Marnie decided she had had enough of dropplets for the time being and looked around her, eyeing the surroundings she had neglected before. It was only then that she saw the huge blue cat-like creature watching her. He seemed to be saying something to her. well, thats what it looked like since his mouth was moving. And papa always said sane creatures don't talk to themselves. It had been that reason why she decided to stop talking to Sir Gussington around him. Even if he wasnt part of her, daddy couldnt hear what gussington said.
Marnie carefully got her footing and stood up. As gracefully as a kitten who had just put two of his paws in a saucer of milk. Smiling, marnie walked over to the huge creature. "Sorry mister, I couldn't hear over the water. what'cha say?" Her ear twitching slightly in anticipation.

Chessur tilted their head and looked at the tiny foal. Well, it was listening to us. Maybe shouldn't eat it. It has paws like us...Maybe it knows of the Wonderland? It would beneficial to use it to find out if it knew, useful to have...spies?
He switched their tails, "Sorry, my sweet." He purred it easily. "What's your name, kitten?" He liked the sound of that, something he could easily destroy if he really wanted to. But at the same time, a cute little useful pet. Yes, that was it precisely.

Ah! There he was! It seemed as if he was awake after all, and here they seemed to have found themselves a nice new pet at that! Indeed. As tasty as it looks, it could prove useful to us. I'm not sure if it knows of the wonerland but it's worth a shot. Perhaps it knows of the rabbit? Or maybe it could be our own little minion? Ohhh that does sound like fun! He swished their tail as he studied the little filly. She seemed to have a decent bone structure, her tail and paws were certainly an added bonus as well. It always made things so much easier when they had paws. Minions without paws just weren't as useful as those who had them. It made it much harder for them to reach the higher up places and they didn't tend to last as longs. Hooves weren't bad for defense, but they certainly aren't any better than claws.
Do you think we can manipulate it? I mean, it is small, maybe its mind is weak? He asked himself. If anything I do suppose we might have some fun first. It isn't often we run into little ones with paws. Chessur grinned widely at the thought.

Marnie giggled at the word kitten. The only reason she actually knew what it was was because Fin had told her about them when talking about her mask. She had loved how he talked about them, and felt bubbly whenever she was referred as one. Her paws kneading happily as she remembered her friend.
"My name is Marnie." her eyes twinkling as she stared up at his muzzle, the sun slightly in her eyes. "But it doesnt mean any thing. Mamma just named me a good Halloween name cuz I was born near it." She gave a slight nod as if she was agreeing with herself then went on to ask "Whats your name, mister? Is it as big as you are?" Her eyes growing slightly wider. "Is it like fifty letters long?!?!" Slightly bouncing up and down with excitement.

Before he had time to reply to himself, it seemed the the thing was talking once more. She sure seemed odd didn't she? Well, he supposed that he was rather odd too. What was odd to him might be normal to her and what was normal to him might be odd to her. Really it just all came down to perspective and whose perspective it was. Perhaps someone else might think them both odd, he supposed it just depended on who you asked.
"My name?" He asked rather confused. "But wouldn't you rather know our names? I do suppose that they are long yes, but I don't suppose that they're all that long. I like to think that they're an appropriate length yes? Nothing too long, nothing too short. You know, I rather like Marnie, but perhaps more as a nickname yes? I do believe it is rather short. I'm surprised that your mother didn't give you a longer name you know. Perhaps some sort of title. I suppose that we could always call you Marnie Kitten. Or even Marnie The Kitten. Do you like those? Or perhaps you have something else in mind?" He paused a moment, tilting his head to the side while studying the little creature. "As for our names, he's Chessur and I'm The Great Glasgow. It's how we tell each other apart. I suppose together we're Chessure The Great Glasgow. Nice and lengthy, just how it ought to be. But I suppose if that's too long for you then you can always call us Chessur." He concluded.

Marnie blinked up at the big creature as it talked, listening intently. He sure had a lot to say, even if she didnt understand it all. When it came to her nickname, she looked down in thought. "Hmmm, well, I have no idea what Marnie could be short for." She paused, thinking again. "Marnette maybe? But that sounds silly." Giggles bubbling from her throat again. He made her laugh, just like Fynn. That made her think of something "Is Marnegan long enough?" Her face lighting up. "I like it, it reminds me of my best friend!" "Well, or my last name. My full name is Marnie Dorei. Dorei is my mamas last name."
After that, she continued to listen to him, growing more confused by the word. "Our?" She looked behind him and saw no one. "Do you have a friend with you? I don't see anyone. How do I know you two apart from each other?" Looking around his other side to see if the other horse was around that side.

They studied the filly carefully. Eying her curiously while he pondered over her words. "Of course I'm not alone!" He chuckled at the filly's comments. "You can't actually see or tell us apart I suppose, but there is myself The Great Glasgow and then there is also Chessur. Together we make Chessur The Great Glasgow. However to simplify things I suppose that you could simply just call us both Chessur. Even if my name is greater." Widening his grin, Chessur continued on chuckling to himself.
Oh youth and all of their questions. Had he ever asked so many questions when he was that little? He supposed that he must have. However, he supposed that he must not have since he The Great Glasgow, had only just arrived. Yet he did appear to have the memories of Chessur as well. He knew that they were the same, they shared the same eyes, the same paws, the same brain, and perhaps the same memories as well then. Snapping himself out of their thoughts, Chessur once again focused on the little filly before him.
"So then Marnie, what are you doing out here on your own? And didn't your mother ever teach you to not talk to strangers? They can be a dangerous lot you know. Lucky for you Chessur and I aren't too terrible then eh? Though I do suppose that those claws of yours might prove fairly useful if you were to get into a bit of trouble." He grinned as widely as he could, eyes sparkling mischievously.

A wind picked up and blew through Marnies hair furr, drying the stubborn droplets that the sun had yet to reach. Marnie unconciously taking a deep breath of the fresh grass smell that lingered after the breeze as she though of this new question.
"Oh, I'm not alone." Grinning widely. "My momma's down there eating apples. She loves 'em. But I couldn't help but try climbing up the waterfall edge." She wiggled her clawed toes. "I wanted to see if I could do it, and that's when I met you!" Nodding to herself as she often did, like she was agreeing with herself.
"Oh, does that mean Chessure is your imaginary friend, Mr. Glazeglow?" accidentally pronouncing his name wrong. Although she had trained out of her new foal legs by now, it seemed her mouth just couldn't keep up sometimes. Speaking of legs "Oh, I don't really use 'em for fightin'. My dad wouldn't want us to fight. He secretly thinks that we'll have enough trouble blending in socially, so he doesn't want us to make ourselves more stand-outish." She giggled "Though its not really much secret with how clingy he acts some times." She tilted her head slightly "Then wheres your momma? Wont she be looking for you too? Worried that a ferocious beast like me might hurt you!" She couldn't help herself after that, she had to erupt in giggles till she pranced around him slightly.

Chessur came back to himself, his mind had been lost a minute. He took over their mouth for a minute, "We are we and we are both your friends Marnie The Kitten." He paused a minute studying her for a moment as he made a great purring before cleaning their paws.
"You have more sibling then?" He was interested where there could be more padded minions. He mentally nudged himself, we've always both been here just not ever at the same time. He swished their tail. It was complicated sometimes understanding what and how they are. But one simply should not question greatness, they assumed.

Marnie was so happy to have another friend. Other than Finn and Duff, she really didnt know anyone. Her father would be so proud. Even if her new friend was a little.... unique.
Her happyness fadded a little at the thought of sharing her new friend and being reminded of her brother. "Oh.... well, I'm not sure if you'd really want to meet my brother." She looked to the side, wondering how to word things."He can be kind of imaginative when playing with new things. Papa doesnt like it" She looked up into the Gazlows eyes and pouted "But if I tell him, Neko says he'll hurt Sir Gussington!" She nuzzled her cheek against her mask "And I can't have anyone hurting my special friend." Unkowingly deep inside, her special friend was really the one who had given her the mask.
She looked back up at him "But yeah, Neko is my only brother. Mama says she hasnt had time to find me more siblings. Whatever THAT means."

Chessur chuckled to himself at the naivety of the young. "Who is this Sir Gussington?" He asked the filly, curiosity getting the better of him. It seemed fairly obvious to them that she didn't particularly want to talk about her brother at the moment, even if he did sound... intriguing. "What sort of fellow is he?" The cat continued on with a sinister grin spreading across their face for no apparent reason.
'What do we think of this little creature?" He asked himself quietly. 'What do you suppose that we should do with her? She looks a bit small and furry for eating, I don't think that she would taste particularly good. Do you think this friend of hers is edible? We are feeling awfully hungry, I don't think we've eaten yet today have we?' He searched through their memory, trying to remember their last meal without much success. Even if the filly wasn't edible, she might at the very least know where something edible was to be obtained.
