I've never had an orchid myself so I can't give any specific tips. However, it sounds like you are over watering it. Are you giving it water directly from the fridge or letting it come to room temperature? If you're watering it with cold water, it's not going to like that.
Is there a hole in the bottom of the pot? Many houseplants don't come with proper pots, so when they are watered, the water has nowhere to drain. (So it just sits at the bottom of the pot causing soggy soil and root rot.) Watering once a day is quite a lot. My plants get water once a week or once every two weeks.

Watering your Orchid – Watering is also an important part of indoor orchid care. Make sure the container in which the orchid is planted has a drain hole and then to water, hold the container over the sink, allowing water to run through so the soil is completely soaked but drained. This should be done in the morning, once a weed and in the winter, twice a week.
sourceThe site also says to have bright filtered light. So an east window sill works best. Depending on where it came from, it could be going through a bit of shock with shipping, temperature and light differences too. I'd cut back with the watering (and get a new pot if it doesn't have a hole) and ensure it has proper light and it should be a-okay.
