As the boat from Unova pulled up to the dock, Arissa clung to the railing and stared out at the new land she was about to enter. Beside her stood an unusually-colored Archen who was also peering through the bars of the railing at their destination. "Here we are, Kishin," Arissa told her pokemon. "Far away from home and everyone we know, and a new place to see. I wonder what pokemon we'll run into while we're here."

"Aaar!" her pokemon squawked at her, and craned her neck around to better see the approaching dock.

It seemed to be both a very long time and just moments later that the boat was docked and the passengers disembarking. The trainer and pokemon stepped down to the dock and started wandering aimlessly into the city, looking around at everything like raw tourists. Which they could in fact be considered to be.

A persian came into view of the two new Zatao explorers, blocking their way for amoment as he turned large blinded eyes towards them, blue jewel upon his head glowing slightly. The feline let out a low purrring growl. "Perrrrr....." He sniffed towards Arissa and her pokemon. "....Perrr..." Turning away, he started to walk away, sniffing around, obviously lost and trying to find his way back to someone.

Ariss was surprised when the Persian stepped in front of them, and even more startled by his milky white eyes. He didn't spend long near them though, and soom moved off, apparently looking...er, searching...for something. "Is he..blind? Arissa quietly asked her pokemon. Then she took a couple steps towards the departing pokemon, raising her voice to say, "Hold on! Are you lost? Can we help you?"

Kishin hadn't noticed the Persian's eyes at first, but took a good look at them when her trainer alluded to them. She cooed to herself. Then she called to him, on the heels of her trainer's words,

The persian stopped, ears twitching and turned his head to 'look' at them. "Perrr...." He sat down and let them catch up to him. Giving a yawn, the old pokemon's ears moved slowly from one side to another until he pin pointed where the girl's pokemon was. "(I was helping my trainer look for a pichu, but...I got lost when i picked up a scent of it and went too far ahead...)" Faraon was rather embarresed at that, he NEVER got lost once since he had been taken in by his trainer. EVER. Maybe in his old age he was getting a little less sharp in the head, but this shouldn't be happening to him. "(I don't know where Adriel is.....I can't pick up his scent...the city has too many scents....)"

Kishin said as she sympathized with the cat pokemon. She mentally chided herself for almost asking what the trainer looked like. The Persian probably wouldn't know, and it wouldn't do to draw attention to his disability.

Arissa hadn't expected her pokemon to step forward and start chatting with the Persian. She had no idea what the pokemon were saying, and just assumed that Kishin was trying to help. So while her pokemon talked to the Persian, Arissa looked around to see if there was anyone who seemed to be looking for something, like a lost pokemon.

Faraon chuckled at the almost slip of the bird pokemon before him, at least for what he could tell, it was a bird pokemon, he had never come across this species before. "(Adriel is a very large man......)" He tried to think of something visual. "(He wears a very long coat......)" He knew that because he was always pawing at the tail of it. (Oh...everyone always mentions that he has some defective genes...that he is...albino? because he has white hair and is very very pale skinned....Oh, and he is a wild pokemon healer...so he should be cover in bandages or scratches...)" The feline didn't really think his trainer was an albino for what he heard Adriel mumbled under his breath that people didn't seem to notice that his eyes were colored. "(...does..that help?)"

Kishin repeated. Now, what would be the best way to go searching? She looked back at her trainer, wishing she could just tell the young lady what the Persian had said. Then they could both look and would probably find him faster. But since she couldn't, would it be better for her trainer and the Persian to stay on one place while she went to look? Then again, they didn't know this place and she might just get even more lost than the Persian. So she made a "follow me" gesture with one wing and took a few steps, looking back to make sure Arissa followed.

The trainer was a bit mystified, but she followed after her pokemon. Apparently the Archen had a plan of some sort, even if she couldn't communicate it. Perhaps she'd found out something useful from the Persian?

Kishin nodded at her trainer, then told the Persian, "You just come with us and we'll see about finding your trainer." She took a few more steps, making sure her claws clicked audibly on the pavement, and paused to see if the Persian would come. It would make to search so much easier if she could fly up to look around. But walking would have to do.

Faraon nodded his head, but seemed to have another idea as he heard the clicking claws, he sniffed around until he found the pokemon's trainer, bumping his nose against her hips. His ears twitched before he turned his head towards the bird pokemon. "(You have wings....perhaps you should fly..I follow your trainer's scent...She has your scent on her, and i'll keep my pace to her's...)"

Kishin smiled to hear the Persian echo her own thoughts. could fly, dear,> she answered, a little wistfully. She couldn't help sighing at little at the thought.

When the Persian bumped his head into her, Arissa quietly said, "Well, hello to you, too," and reached out a hand to gently stroke his head. "We'll get you where you want to be, don't worry."

Kishin looked at the Persian standing by her trainer and got a different idea.

Faraon tilted his head, Archen? He had never heard of that pokemon before, but he suppose there were still breeds out there he didn't know about...The feline's thoughts were interrupted by the gentle petting of his head, he let a soft purrr rumble in his chest, licking her wrist gently before nodding towards Kishin's new idea. "(That acceptable...)"

Kishin chirped. She looked up at Arissa, tilted her head thoughtfully, then got an idea. With a chirp, she pointed at the young woman, then the Persian, then walked forward at a easy, deliberate pace. Next she chirped again and pointed to herself. She dashed forward a short distance, looked around with broad, exaggerated movements, then ran back to her trainer. Then she repeated the dash in another direction, looked around again and returned. She looked up at her trainer to make sure she understood the message.

Arissa watched her pokemon's actions with a bit of puzzlement. She understood that her pokemon was trying to tell her something, but what couldn't piece together what that something was until the Archen had stopped and was looking at her expectantly. "So...you want me and the Persian to walk along normally, while you run ahead and look around?" she asked. Kishin chirped happily and nodded eagerly. "And I take it you know what you're looking for?" Another chirp and nod. "OK, then...But don't go too far. Staying in sight of me would be best. I don't want you to get lost around here."

Kishin said, though she new her trainer would just hear happy sounds. Then she started running ahead to look around while her trainer started walking down the streets.

The large persian rubbed against Arissa's leg gently before he started walking at a mild pace, the feline pokemon tilted his head around, ears moving back and for, looking to pick up that familiar voice of his trainer. He still couldn't believe he had lost him, he hated the city...hatehatehatehatehate! He kept himself from growling, least make the new trainer by him nervous.

Arissa lightly petted the Persian's head as they walked along. She didn't really know what they were looking for, so she figured the best this she could do would be to try and keep the Persian from worrying too much. After a moment she said, "If you notice anything that seems familiar, whether it's a hint of your trainer, someplace you recognize or anything else, you let me know and we'll check it out."

Kishin darted around, peering up at the people she passed and hopping on low objects, like benches and garbage cans, to get a better look around. Big man, long coat, pale with white hair, bandages or scratches. Was there anyone around like that? Hmm, how about that?...no, the hair was a pale yellow, and probably a woman.

She glanced back to make sure her trainer was still in sight, then dashed off to look in another direction. Did anyone here look right? Hmm, that one had white hair...but no coat at all, and short a sleeved shirt. An old man too, it seemed. She hopped on large pot outside of a building holding a small bush, then looked around again. Was that person right? It was at a distance, but she though she saw pale hair and a long coat...

The feline pokemon let out a loud purrrr of agreement and continue keeping alert for his trainer.

"Ahem...." A deep and slightly on the dark side voice came from somewhere behind and above Arissa. Standing behind the newly arrived trainer was a very tall man, just a few inches shy of seven feet. His dark purple eyes were glaring and hard as gem stones. Scars riddle his face, one X-shaped one specially going across his face and over one of his eyes. The man's beard seemed to add to a wilderness man, if it wasn't for the fact that all his hair was white and his skin was as pale as could be. His lips were drawn back in a snarl, showing very sharp canines. His long white coat was tattered at the sleeves, neck and tail, his chest, which showed he did not have a shirt on under said coat, was filled with even more scars and bandages, some which shown signs of needing changing soon.

The man clicked his black boot on the ground impatiently... "What are you doing with my persian?"

Arissa turned around at the sound of a voice behind her, and had to look up to meet the eyes of the man addressing her. He was very large, and didn't seem at all pleased. Maybe petting the Persian hadn't been such a good idea. She unobtrusively tucked her hand in her pocket, trying not to feel guilty. She'd been helping, after all.

"I was trying to help him find his trainer," she answered. "He looked lost and confused, and I wanted to help him out. Not that I knew what I was looking for," she added, slightly sheepishly, "but my Archen seemed to. Speaking of which..." she turned to look for Kishin, as much to actually find the pokemon as to have an excuse to look away from the other trainer. He was a bit unsettling. Peering around the street, she spotted her pokemon perched on a flowerpot a few buildings away. "Kishin! Come on back now!" she called down the street.

Kishin looked over when her trainer called her. Come back? But she hadn't found anything yet! Yet maybe she didn't need to, since a very big, white-haired man was standing by Arissa. She quickly hopped down and trotted over to the two people. As she approached, she asked the Persian,
