Alright, so let's begin by opening up Photoshop and creating a new document sized 1000px by 1000px. You don't have to use this size, but it's pretty much my go-to because we can always crop it later. Better to have too much space than not enough.

Now, we're going to paste in two images of the absolutely gorgeous Olivia Wilde. It really helps if both images have a similar background. It's not required, but it gives a much more seamless look when we blend them together.
Now we're going to take the image on the right and drag it over top of part of the image that's on the left. We don't want to completely cover it, just having it overlapping a bit. The overlap will eventually become the part that blends the two images together.
Now that you have this done, go to Layer > Layer Mask > Hide All. This will make the image on the right disappear. Now, select your gradient tool and make sure that your foreground/background colors are black and white as shown below. (It's important that they are black and white or else this won't work right).
Then, you'll just use the gradient tool and drag it like shown below. You may have to do this a few times to get it to look "seamless". Just keep trying it until you get it to look the way that you want.
Once it looks the way that you want it to, you can merge the two layer together by pressing CTRL + E or go to Layer > Merge Layers.
Next, we're going to create a new layer. You can use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + N or by going to the menu Layer > New > Layer.
Now, we're going to need some custom brushes. The ones that I'm using came from here. And this website will tell you how to load the custom brush set. Once you have that done, make sure you are working on your new layer and start placing different shapes in black from the brushes you just grabbed over the image. Note: This is the part where it's important to take your time and plan out how you want it to look. I rushed through this and I really ended up hating the finished result, but it's all about playing around to find what you like.
Next, you'll just want to go over to your layers toolbar. (It should be to the right of your screen, but if you don't see it you can enable it by going to Window > Layers or by pressing F7. You're going to drag the layer we just mucked up with the brushes underneath the image that we blended together.
And now we're going to go over to the layer toolbar and select the layer that contains our image. Right click and select Create Clipping Mask.
And now we just spruce it up and add some text and we're done! All you need to do is crop and save. c:
And here is the finished product:
