Anthony Darrow had gotten her letter. He read it quite a few times, trying to really digest what it said. Kyndall loved him. Loved him. That meant more to him than he could really understand, and he wondered deeply if he loved her already. It seemed so fast. They were skipping steps he wanted her to experience, and he wanted to give her. He wanted to woo her, and earn her love. Things had been complicated, with him being Camelot and things turning so crazy. But they had a spark, he knew it, and even now that he was a bachelor again, and he felt he had healed at least a little from his surprising break up, he didn't want to rush. No, he had to earn her love, even if she was already willing to give it to him. So, he decide to do something a little wacky. It was well into the evening when the knock came to her door, and Camelot leaped up onto her roof to avoid her seeing him. It was like a powered doorbell ditch. He powered down and hid himself, leaving a note taped to her front door. It read, in as elegant a hand written script as Tony could do, 'Come to the shelves where knowledge is free'. It was a little cheesy, but he was not the best at this sort of thing.

Kyndall came to the door and answered it, looking out into the snowy night and not seeing anyone there. Usually when someone knocked on the door she could see them or hear them leaving. Instead she saw no one. As her violet eyes searched she sighed. She was home to relax. As she moved to close the door she caught sight of the note, pulling to free and shivering in the cold air as she read it. Though, as she read a smile crossed her lips and she thought she knew who sent it. She closed the door to change into something nicer, out of habit, bundled up and drove to the library to meet him there. When she got out of the car she looked around, thinking to spot him somewhere unless he meant for her to actually go inside.

Tony had to hurry his a** over to the library to get there before her. He was lucky he had his ability to power up on his side, though she did too she was not intent on getting there in a hurry. He leapt over roofs once he had powered up again, hurrying his way back to the library where he had set up what he hopped would be a good answer to her letter. Maybe he did not know what love was, but he would do his damned best to learn. With her. This was his second chance at a proper life, the happiness he wanted. Third chance? Maybe there were more than he counted. Whatever the case, he was not going to mess this up, not like last time. He got to the library and powered down for the final time, slipping inside through the entrance on the roof. He had gotten there first, because she had changed. When she reached the library she would find a note on the door. 'Enter, if it pleases you'. It would have been really awkward if anyone but her had read that note.

"Tony?" When it was clear he wasn't outside to hear her she moved to the door. The second note encouraged her progress and she pulled that one free, too, and carried it with her, wondering at the set up and what his intentions were. She'd sent him the letter and was terrified he wouldn't like it or would respond negatively to it. More than anything she couldn't bear it if he rejected her outright and said they could not even be friends. This seemed to suggest otherwise. "Tony?" she called out again, moving into the lobby. "Where are you?" If would be really awkward if it were anyone else but him. Her heart was quick and pounding in her chest and she felt nervous.

There was an arrow printed on paper pointing toward the front desk as she walked in. On the desk was a rose and another letter, this one printed on a card that was standing like a tent over the rose. It had her name written on it, and inside it said, "Maybe you should go upstairs. To the third floor. Don't worry about getting lost. The path is lit." And it was true. there were candles, small ones with little protective bowls, to light her way up he stairs, since the lights were dimmed. The higher she climbed, the more rose petals decorated the floor. He'd have to clean it all up, but for tonight it was worth it. He had the place to himself, and no one would yell at him for putting it to his use.

Kyndall dutifully followed the clues and picked up the rose. She held it up and inhaled the sweet fragrance, smiling into the red petals. She read the note and set them both down on his desk, turning to stair in wonder at the path of candles laid out before her. She knew the way well by now as much time as she spent in the library but the third floor was not somewhere she often needed to go. As she climbed the stairs she saw rose petals strewn about and smiled to herself finding this recklessly romantic. Once she got to the top she took care looking around, taking her time to memorize. Never in her life has someone done anything like this for her before. No one had ever taken the time to be so generous and romantic with her. In that way she was learning about love herself. The smile on her lips was plastered there and might never leave.

The study tables were her goal, as the candles and petals dictated. Once she reached them, she would see Tony there, standing with a bouquet in hand, wearing a nice suit. He smiled at her, feeling sheepish, but not minding the sensation. Maybe he wasn't the most original, most romantic man out there, but he meant his gestures. he watched her, admiring the way she looked, the smile on her face, knowing he had brought it there. That made him smile in turn. "You look lovely," he said after a long moment, then took a step forward to offer her the flowers. "These are for you." In case that wasn't obvious. He was doing his damn best not to let any trace of his social awkwardness come into play here. He wanted them both to be comfortable.

Her smiled broadened to see him, if such a thing was possible, and she came forward quickly, stunned and touched by this gesture. She paused to memorize how he looked and how happy he seemed so she could relive the memories over and over again. She took the flowers and properly admired them, feeling tickled pink and special. "Oh, Tony, you're so handsome!" She breathed. Those were the only words she found. Her emotions were a bit too overwhelming at the moment to try and think or thank him for anything else but she wondered what he had planned for this evening. She felt like a princess. "This is amazing."

Tony smiled at her, wanting her to feel like she was the only thing he could see at the moment. And she was. He took a breath, steadying himself and pretending his hands weren't shaking. Nerves. If the Negaverse didn't kill him, his nerves would. "I got your letter... I appreciate you writing it..." He smiled. "I wanted to reply, but I forgot how to use a pencil, for the most part. These little notes were all I could manage. I just... wanted to say..." he faltered again, blushing. He took step toward her, and now he bent to kiss her on the lips, no drinking, no awkwardness, no false intentions. He kissed her. "I want to earn the love you wrote about. I... I feel like I need to, I haven't done much so far."

Her letter, yes, that. For a moment she'd forgotten anything else but how she felt at him standing before her. She slid into his arms as he bent to kiss her, tears sliding down her cheeks. At last her mind seemed to whisper. At last. She returned his kiss and let out a happy sob when he spoke, grinning from ear to ear. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, like it was out of some dream she didn't remember falling asleep for. All the time spent dancing around it and moments when the tension was so thick if could suffocate you was worth it for this moment right here. Finally she felt like she'd picked someone worthy of what she could offer. Like the moment was kismet and she was meant to be there with him. "Do it again." she whispered reveling in the idea of a kiss between them that was for no other reason than he wanted to.

Tony smiled and listened to her order, leaning to catch her lips again. He closed his eyes and enjoyed it, pulling her closer. he didn't mind the flowers, though he should have. He just wanted her close, and for her to know that he did have feelings. however awkward he was with them, he had them. They were stronger than he knew how to admit, or even access at the moment, but he wanted to. And he already knew she was willing to go along for the ride. At least, he hoped so.

She wrapped her arms around him and stayed as close as he wanted her to be, enjoying something she'd dreamt about more than she might ever admit. She was half laughing, half sobbing with joy and tears were steaming down her cheeks. When she finally pulled away from him she spent a serious moment just looking into his eyes. "Are you kidding me?" she demanded. "You've done more for me than I ever thought possible. You've been a friend and a partner and you brought my little girl home to me. How can you imagine for one second that you haven't earned my love? Every heartbeat of it you deserve."

"Well, I don't feel like I've been present for it. I mean, I know... I know we've been close, and I know I did do what I could for Harmony. But I also lied to you, and I saw you cry more times than I wanted to." He wiped her tears away, but he knew these were happy. He smiled softly. "But I want to do this with you. Do it right. I want to go on a date with you, properly, and have fun without feeling constrained, and not miss out on impromptu moments because they might make things complicated... I want things to be complicated, if it means I get to sort them through with you. I don't know anything about love, not really. But I do know that if I'm going to fall into it, I want to fall with you."

Kyndall melted a little inside wishing he'd never stop talking if things like this were going to keep coming out. She wasn't the sort to swoon, as dramatic as she could be, but this was sort of the right moment for it. She didn't give a second thought to complicated or difficult. Those she'd seen before and knew how to overcome. The important thing was that he was here saying he wanted to be with her and offered to get though those tough moments with her despite her flaws and the pitfalls they'd encountered. She felt like she knew him well and was more than willing to do whatever it took to make him as happy as she was in that moment. Her heart felt like it might burst with joy. "Tony..." She hugged him, breathing him in and smiling to herself. "I'd like that so much. I want to try and build a life with you. I want Christmas to be just the beginning of many family moments."

The librarian turned knight looked at her as she move to hug him. He just had to tighten his arms around her to return the gesture. He smiled at the idea of theirs being a large family, instead of two small ones. But he didn't want to get ahead of himself. He just wanted to enjoy their night, and see where it lead them. He kissed her again, taking his time with it, enjoying the feeling of her lips against his. He didn't have anything to say that hadn't already been said. Or he would say stupidly.

She was certainly not complaining about his choices. She was lost in a very distinct fog of euphoria and wasn't going to come out of it just yet. She enjoyed the feel of his lips on hers having too long only imagined it. She enjoyed the feeling of his arms around her, keeping her close. She knew she loved him completely. "What did you have planned for the rest of the night?" He could have said trying to capture the moon and she'd have gone along with it as happy as she was. "I think I'll rather enjoy the idea of being wooed and you earning my love." she teased softly.

He smiled at her. "I... I didn't think this far ahead. I thought I'd say what I wanted to say... and... ah... well." He looked sheepish. He had imagined they would talk and it would be more complicated than it had been. He thought things would go poorly, in fact, like the letter had been some kind of set up. Maybe he even thought his son was messing with him or something, setting him up. He was glad things were going so well, though. "We are in the library. Maybe you'd like me to read to you? No... that sounds stupid. I'm sorry I..." It was still early. There was time for them to go out and do something, if they wanted to.

"You're cute." She chuckled, finding her same Tony under the Prince Charming. She moved to sit on the study table they were closest to, smiling dopily at him. "You have no idea how hard that letter was for me to write, let alone send." She'd been shaking, in point of fact, and had shoved it into a mailbox before she could change her mind. Still, she was used to bailing him out of situations like these as he seemed to stumble into them often around her. "Have you eaten? Perhaps dinner?" Out or in she didn't mind which. "Or, if not, desert and some champagne?" Tonight she felt like celebrating.

"I can imagine. I tried to write you back, I wasn't lying about that. I just... couldn't think of the right words and couldn't stand the thought of them being permanently recorded on a piece of paper if they were the wrong ones..." he laughed and shook his head as if to dismiss the silly idea, but it had been part of his worry. He smiled at her suggestions. "I have some champagne at home... that might be nice. We can pick up a dessert on the way?"

"Alright. I know just the place." There was a small bakery not too far away that had the most wonderful pastries on the planet. Some of those and some champagne and cuddling seemed to be a good night in her mind. She took his hand and started to walk back down to the main floor. She paused, though, when she reached the stairs and gave the scene one last look. It was beautiful. She kissed him again, briefly, and started down stairs. "You can even still read to me if you're so inclined." she teased, laughing a little. "Or we could watch some TV or a movie and cuddle."

"I don't mind what we do," he said, holding her hand and giving it a tender squeeze. "So long as I'm spending time with you." He smiled at her, then looked around the library. "I will have to come in early tomorrow to clean all this up..." He wouldn't worry about it, though. He'd left a note for the openers, in case he was late. They would understand. "Do you think the bakery is still open?" he frowned thoughtfully. They could surely go to a grocery store, they were usually open very late.

"Trust me." She'd been going to that bakery for years. The owners knew her well. If she had to call them to let her in they didn't mind. They lived right above the shop and saw her regularly. And, honestly, she didn't care what they did so long as she could stay close and cuddle with him. It was a much nicer thought than passing out beside him after extracting a bullet from his side, in any case. "I don't mind where we go, though, if you don't think we should bother them." She was just content to be around him. "Tony I'm so happy I could fly if you asked me to." She was reminded of a scene from My Fair Lady where Eliza discovers her love for Henry Higgins and sang that she could have danced all night with him. Kyndall felt much the same. "I just want to be close to you."

Tony nodded his head and smiled. He trusted her, of course, though he wasn't about to wake someone up. "We'll go to a grocery store for something easy, if you don't mind. You can take me to this bakery some other time. We'll call that another date." He grinned at her teasingly. Really, he just wanted to go back to his place with her and enjoy their time together. He held on to her hand, guiding her from the library and making sure everything was all locked up behind them.

She grabbed him and tugged him close again, lingering just barely against his lips, brushing them every so often. "We could skip dessert altogether." She didn't actually want to go -that- far but she was trying to be impulsive and romantic and a little suggestive. And she liked seeing him blush, still. She let him go shortly after and started off toward her car, not sure if he had his, anyway. It didn't matter; they'd get where they were going regardless. She still didn't like to power up just to get places.

Tony's eyebrows lifted as she tugged him closer, very much in favor of this treatment. She got the effect she wanted, though: he blushed deeply at her words. He followed after her a moment later, limping along without his cane. He had left it inside, on one of the tables. Not that it mattered. He hadn't brought his car, of course. "Would you mind giving me a ride?" he teased, as he imagined she would. Unless she wanted to abandon him here and go off for dessert and booze on her own.

"Oh, yes. I plan on leaving you here now that you've told me such lovely words and made me feel giddy from the top of my head to the tips of my toes." He'd proposed such and idea once, while drunk but sober she supposed it was all chivalry and propriety which was completely fine by her. No sense rushing what should be taken slowly. "Don't be silly." She unlocked the doors for him with a touch of a button and climbed in, glad she'd thought to bring the car now. Luckily his town house wasn't very far away and she thought there was a store in between. She stopped, though, and kissed him again wanting to say the words aloud, face to face, at long last. Funny, her sense of timing. "I love you Tony. You've made me very happy."

"I thought you would," he said with a profound, and feigned, sigh. He was caught off guard by her kiss and returned it gently, smiling. He wasn't sure about saying such strong words yet, but he knew she understood. He wasn't cool enough to pull a Han Solo and get away with an 'I know'. "I'm glad you're happy. That's what I want, above all else. You deserve to have some normalcy, and I think I do, too. We'll find it together." He moved to the car and hurried around to the driver's side to hold the door for her. Once she was in the car he went back around to get in himself.

She hadn't expected him to say it back to her, no. She didn't want to hear it from him until he was sure of himself but she had wanted to say it to his face, just once, so he could be sure that was how she felt. She nodded when he spoke. Oddly, she hadn't thought about her other side all night. She felt normal being with him and was sure they could find that balance between them like he said. As she drove to the store the mulled it over, a happy smile on her lips. The both of them together passing nights reading or cuddling with Dogby somewhere close by warm and content and maybe a fire in the background. It seemed like heaven to her and something out of a Norman Rockwell painting.

Tony watched her as she drove, just tilting his head and admiring her beauty. It made him wonder what she could was doing, wasting her time on a librarian, but he wasn't going to complain. Once they were at the grocery store he took her to the baked goods and dessert section. They would be able to find something tasty there, and he would let her pick. He was far from picky when it came to sweets and the like. He would grab the first cake he saw and be happy with it.

She picked up something surprising, or maybe not so much considering, strawberries and whipped cream. Classic and tasty and with the added bonus of being good for her. It didn't take long to check out and be on their way back to his place. She knew the way in her sleep by now. As she pulled up behind his car she sighed softly, smiling. Librarian and white knight seemed to suit her just fine. She certainly wasn't inclined to choose anyone else now that she'd found him and fallen.

Tony carried the bag and led the way into the house. As he suspected, Nathan was no where to be found. He never was. The boy would either be out all night, or locked up in his room. The master bedroom, as Tony had not beaten him to it when they moved in. Nate kept the door lock almost all the time, and snuck in and out through the window. It wasn't much of a father son relationship, theirs. Dogby yipped and came over to great them eagerly, acting as if she had been abandoned for months and was starved for attention. She whined for pets and looked up at Tony with her big, sad eyes. "Make yourself comfortable," Tony said to Kyndall, smiling.

Kyndall promptly picked up the pup and pet her in greeting, cuddling the little dog all the way to his couch. It was funny to be here for a visit and not to yell at him or check it he was alive. It felt somehow odd to think of herself as being his. Maybe not officially. They certainly hadn't spoken of any titles aloud but they were dating now, right? She pet Dogby and smiled, happy the pup shared her excitement. As she sat down she started crooning to the wriggling mass of fur in her lap, petting and scritching her belly for good measure.

Dogby was very happy for the attention, and she whined and wiggled happily. Tony smiled, glad that Dogby liked Kyndall. Not that it was surprising. Maybe he was more glad Kyndall liked Dogby. They would likely be seeing each other a lot more, after all. Tony felt they were dating, of course, though they hadn't said anything. He imagined her saying she loved him was more than enough incentive. He went into the kitchen to get them the necessary ingredients for their night, calling ."If you'd like to watch a movie I have... a few... but not too many. Or the TV. Uhm. Nate has a lot of action movies, or his playstation thing." He doubted they would play games, and he laughed at his own suggestion as he got glasses for champagne, as well as the bottle itself.

Kyndall wasn't much of one to play video games but she wasn't opposed to them, either. They improved coordination and focus. All the same she clicked on the TV and flicked through a few things without finding anything to settle on. She browsed the movie titles and found the lesser of a few evils, popping it into the gaming console and using the controller to set it to play. Harmony had a console she didn't use much except for movies but Kyn knew how to work it for basic things like this. When he returned she smiled and moved to help him with his full hands. The strawberries looked good where they were laid and the real whipped cream, too. She admired the spread, content no matter what was playing in the background.

Tony moved into the living room and sat down on the sofa with her. He poured her a glass after opening the bottle, sighing contentedly. He offered her the first glass and got himself one, though he was determined not to have too much this time. He leaned back against the sofa. "To a nice night in," he said, smirking teasingly, holding his glass up for a toast.

She let the glasses clink together lightly and took a long sip, the bubbles tickling her nose and making her giggle. She leaned back against him setting the glass aside, casually dipping a strawberry into the cream and offering it up to him. She was intending to feed him but sometimes signals got crossed between them. "This could be a very nice night." she sighed and snuggled against him, bringing Dogy into her lap and petting the pooch with her idle hand. The movie was already playing but she wasn't focused on it. She was too fixated on him.

Tony smiled as she cuddled to him, and looked at the strawberry in wonder. He let her feed him, though he felt awkward. He smiled and shook his head, offering to take over and feed her one instead. It was a little more reasonable that way, he felt. He smiled. "I think it already is. It certainly could have gone worse," he laughed, and Dogby looked up at them both. She felt that they were very happy, which she liked, her stub tail wagging slowly.

Kyndall paid due attention to them both casually eating strawberries and cream and sipping on champagne until she was rather pleasantly happy and light headed. Though the light headedness could have been an effect of the happiness and not the champagne. Maybe it was just him. Every so often she'd catch his lips or pay attention to snippets of the movie but all in all she was rather content and the night passed easily and well. He was right, it could have gone worse. She was thankful it hadn't. Something in her life had gone blissfully right for a change without a full blown panic attack beforehand.

Tony relaxed and enjoyed the strawberries, feeding her and himself. Dogby stole one, and did not seem to mind the taste, either. She settled down to sleep over their laps, accomplishing this despite being a small dog. She stretched herself out across their legs, almost perfectly centered. Tony was feeling very relaxed. Not too lightheaded, but still more contant than he had felt in recent history. Of course, he had no idea what movie
they had just watched. Did it really matter? He was dozing, his arms around her, keeping her very close to him, leaning forward and resting his head near hers.

Kyn was perfectly happy herself, falling to sleep against him with a warm dog in her lap and his strong arms around her. She didn't care she hadn't watched the movie. It was some guy fighting for some reason. She didn't even recognize who. She caught herself falling and jerked awake knowing this wasn't the ideal position for either of them. He'd wake with a sore back and she wouldn't be home to make sure Harmony was alright. Not that a sixteen year old girl couldn't get by on her own for a night but Kyn worried. "I should go." she said softly, trying to wake up and move.

Tony took a deep breath, waking from his drowsy dozing as she moved and spoke. He nodded his head slowly. "Ah, yes, it must be late now. I didn't mean to fall to sleep." He rubbed his eyes to wake himself up, picking up Dogby so Kyndall could escape. The corgi snored but didn't seem to notice the fact that she was now being held and moved around. Tony smiled sheepishly at Kyndall. "I got a little too comfortable, I guess. But it was nice."

"I could stay." she suggested quietly, as if saying it out loud were some big taboo. They were adults. It was perfectly acceptable for her to spend the night and sleep there, with him. It had felt rather nice in her opinion and his as well, apparently. She looked at Dogby sleeping and smiled at the pup. Cuteness always kind of made her melt which was part of the reason she liked the owner so much. "But if it's too soon, I understand." she added making sure he knew there was no pressure.

Tony looked a bit bashful, but shook his head. Then nodded it. Then looked a little confused. He smiled, though, and knew what he meant to say even if he didn't know the proper head motion for it. "If you'd like to stay I certainly wouldn't say no. I just think we should... enjoy each other, and take things slow. I'm not in a rush." He smiled at her, just wanting her to be comfortable, and happy. He didn't assume she meant she wanted sleep with, in the eyebrow waggling kind of context.

"I think I liked being in your arms and falling asleep." she admitted to him. "But I don't want to rush you." That seemed to be her mantra, not wanting to rush him. Maybe spending the night was for older couples, ones that had been together longer and were better declared. Maybe...but as usual she'd leave it up to him. It seemed like they were both fretting about the other, anyway. She was enjoying him, anyway, and kind of wanted the feeling to last. "Do you want me to stay?"

He was glad to hear her say that, and he nodded his head. "I think I liked you falling to sleep in my arms, as well. I think I'd like to see what it feels like, waking up with you there, as well." He smiled dumbly, stepping closer and brushing his hand across her cheek lightly. He kissed her lips gently. "I want you to stay, yes." He felt confident saying it, and he didn't stutter or hesitate. What was the harm in having her stay? There was none.

"Alright, I will." She smiled at him and hugged him, laying her head against his shoulder. With that decided she felt a lot more comfortable. She didn't think about much beyond the initial joy of being able to fall asleep with him and wake up to him in the morning. Maybe it was a little fast but there was no harm done for it. They liked eachother and it wasn't like they were doing more than sleeping. They'd done it before twice that she could recall but that was before they were dating. Did that change much? She was as new to relationships as he was and found herself second guessing. "Lead the way." She'd actually never seen his bedroom before but he knew hers very well.

The librarian was glad things had gone so smoothly. He put his arms around her for a moment, then took her hand and guided her toward his bedroom. It was the secondary one: not the master. Nathan had claimed that for himself. So he was stuck with this, which was fine enough for him. He didn't have too much stuff, anyway. The room was tidy and ordered, everything seemed to have its place and Tony kept it there. He looked at her, frowning thoughtfully. "Would you like one of my shirts to sleep in? I'm sure I have some sweat pants that... might fit... if you use the draw string."

"Yes, please." Sleeping in her skirt didn't seem like the good thing to do. She was only slightly bashful now that she was in his room but it seemed like a him place. She looked over it. "The pants might not be necessary depending on the shirt." She was used to sleeping in a nightgown as well with her legs free, anyway. It the thing was long enough it would cover her appropriately. He was much taller than she was. A good half foot maybe. She'd change in the bathroom, emerging with a blush on her cheeks. This was all very new and simple to her.

Tony nodded and got her a shirt that had always been a bit big on him, though he liked it. When she came out of the bathroom a short time later he smiled at her, nodding his head approvingly. "You wear it better than I do," he said, noticing the red in her cheeks. He was a little embarrassed, too, wearing a shirt and boxers instead of his usual 'just boxers' type of pajamas. He was feeling sleepy at least, and he tried to hide a yawn while motioning her to come over to him.

"You're just saying that." Bare legged and feeling a bit exposed she stood there a moment and took him in instead. He liked the look of him like this. Somehow it was just as appealing as his suits and ties. She did come over, though, and took his hand, looking up to him. Being near him calmed her nerves and added new ones to the list. She did love him quite a bit and considered this, all of this, an adventure. "Goodnight, darling."

Tony smiled at her, taking her hand and tugging her to him. He kissed her deeply, putting his arms around her. It wasn't him trying to push her at all. He just wanted to enjoy the night, no matter where they stopped. Taking it slow was still his priority. "Good night," he said softly, moving with her to lay down. He brought up the covers, kissing her again once they were settled. He hadn't had anyone in his bed for some time. It felt nice, really. Normal.

She returned his kiss with no small amount of passion, sliding her arms around him before they parted. "You expect me to sleep on a kiss like that?" she teased, smiling wickedly at him. "Shame on you..." But she mostly only joking. When they both climbed into bed she immediately curled up against him, laying her head in the crook of his shoulder and putting both arms around him. The idea of being this near him, both of them scantily clad and pressed together did immediatly register as sexual. A latent desire, perhaps, but mostly she just liked being in his arms and listening to the heart beating beneath her ear.

Tony laughed, shaking his head. He couldn't help himself. "I'm sorry, I just see you looking like that and it feels... very nice. I want you to know how happy I am, and how happy I want us to be together..." he was also attracted to her, of course, there was no denying that. He kissed her again, trailing his lips down the smooth line of her jaw until he was kissing her neck tenderly. He wasn't going to go too far, though, and he pulled back to admire her, running his thumb lightly over her cheek. "I think we should sleep."

"I think if you keep doing that we won't get a chance to." It was like sticking your hand in the fire and expecting not to be burned. She was slightly appalled by the notion, in point of fact and reached for him, returning the favor of treatment. A hand slid down his side and around his back to pull him closer. This was a situation she'd not found herself in for more years than she cared to admit. It was a little intimdating to her so she pulled back just a little. Only a little because she was comfortable with him. "What was that about sleep?

"I can't for the life of me recall," he said dumbly, humming as she kissed and touched him. Maybe they were being silly, acting like teenagers. Which was more silly? Ignoring that they did have very real, physical needs, or giving in to them on the first date? He wasn't sure. He didn't care at the moment. Where ever the night took them, he was willing to go. He moved as she directed him, taking initiative after a moment and exploring what skin he could see.

Kyndall found herself in the unfamiliar territory of being nervous. She found herself blushing when he explored and almost sighing with contentment at the same time. Being physical was one thing. There were simply times when an adult needs that sort of release. Being this close to the first man she'd fallen for in longer than she could recall at the moment? Big difference. She wanted to keep going and to stop all at once. She didn't mind being a teenager with him. Sometimes teens had the right of it, giving in to what they want fully without any fear, enjoying the time together to just explore and be physical. She found herself kissing him and letting go of thinking.

Tony groaned softly, very nearly giving in to their shared desires. He shook his head, though, breaking the kisses and leaning back into his place on the bed. His arm was draped over her, and he held her close to him. "Take it slow," he said, but he was more reminding himself than he was telling her. "We shouldn't rush this... as tempting as it is. It's been... a long time for me... I just..." he looked a little nervous, and not the smallest bit bashful.

Kyndall was rather lost until he broke away becoming the voice of reason. It was too fast, too soon to do...this. "You're right." She found, to her great surprise, that a knot was in her stomach and she'd been more nervous than she counted on, putting it on a shelf to enjoy physical sensation. She barely wanted to admit how long it had been for her. "Me, too. We should just take our time and let it come naturally." She was panting when she said it, though, very aware of his body now. It would take a while to calm and try to sleep. Still, she meant to try and settled against him again, willing her blood to stop boiling.

Tony was in a similar state, breathing slowly to master himself. He nodded, keeping his arms around her and keeping her close to him as he calmed himself enough to fall to sleep. He kissed her lightly as he was dozing on the shoulder, having positioned them so her back was against his chest. He was very comfortable and he fell to sleep with a smile on his face, dreaming contentedly.

She eventually fell asleep herself, wondering at the quiet of the house. If she didn't know any better she'd say no one else lived here but Tony. With his arms around her she soon forgot about any discomfort and slept peacefully, dreaming of good things and resting with a smile on her lips.
