Roll a Ten: Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

Chloe shook her head as she saw the field settle on the playground once more. Her last battle had been on this field, and Shimmer hadn't done well, but hopefully her opponent would be using a pokemon that would be equally slow on land.

Shina smiled as she saw the playground field again. It was nice having a run of pleasant fields. "Tenka, go!" Tenka soared out over the field, swooping to land on the monkey bars.

Eying the large water pokemon, Shina felt fairly confident that she had the advantage. It was time to start off strong. "Tenka, Electro Ball!" Tenka gathered energy and sent a bright ball of static at the Lapras.

The moment Shimmer appeared out of her pokeball her eyes widened and she let out a cry of surprise as a painful electric attack hit her square in the chest, "Laaaa!" She let loose a beam of pure ice at the small pokemon without even waiting for a command from Chloe.

Tenka crashed into the slide when the beam hit him, but recovered fairly quickly. Jumping off the top of the slide to get back in the air, he quickly sent of a bolt of electricity at the Lapras.

"Shimmer, use Ice Shard!" Chloe was glad that she had taken the initiative, but she knew that to keep up with something as fast as an Emolga something fast like Ice Shard would be better.
"La!" Shimmer opened her mouth again and began to shoot individual chunks of sharp ice at Tenka rather than a beam.

Tenka slipped into a confusing series of twists and turns, narrowly dodging the icy projectiles. Finally, he landed softly on Shimmer's shell, and with an evil "Gagagagaga!" let loose a burst of electricity.

"Enough of this." Chloe growled, "Shimmer, use Blizzard!"
Shimmer let out a groan and then twisted her neck, glaring menacingly at the Emolga before sending a huge swirling ice storm out from her entire body.

Tenka leaped into the air, doing his best to ride the icy winds and reduce the damage as much as possible. He still took some damage, but it wasn't too bad. From his position in the air, he launched a bright Thunderbolt.

The Lapras winced as she continued to be battered by painful electric attacks, but she knew that the fastest way to get it to stop was to defeat the Emolga.
