As Gehenna walked slowly down the deserted street in part of Destiny City's 'forgotten' quarter, he was beginning to realize that he might have underestimated the youma.
Fighting alone was nothing new to the Squire, at least not since Penny had let her work life consume her entirely, and for the most part.. he did okay. But his greatest gift was also his biggest downfall and he now understood that every time he took on his power.. he left himself completely open. He was his most vulnerable when he was at his strongest and that youma had made a perfect example of that.
His exposed shoulder (one of the few exposed parts of his body) was sporting three long gashes where he had taken the full blow of claws to his dark skin. It was swelling and angry, pouring blood down over his armor until it was impossible to separate the red from that of his uniform. It had slowed, but minimally, and with every step he took he was beginning to feel just a little more tired.
At long last he stopped, right at the edge where the forgotten zone met the rest of Destiny City, and let himself slump against a nearby wall for support.
He was only going to rest for a minute, just a minute..

The first time they had met Gehenna had been resting too. He had been tending a small wound that apparently hadn't been bad enough to stop him from stepping in to save the day and give a bit of gruff advice.
It had been advice very well taken and cherished.
Though the Squire of the Cosmos was still no grand champion of fighting and brawling he had successfully defended himself and others. He had even dusted a few small youma all by himself, which was great, even if he looked much less badass than the Squire of Mars had shown off being. It had only been a tiny lessen in punching, but those few words had undoubtedly saved Bimini's life since then.
That was perhaps why a very large smile had crossed his face the moment he'd noticed the familiar figure leaning against a wall nearby. Sure he'd felt some sort of a good power source nearby, but he didn't imagine it'd have been someone he knew.
"Gehenna! Hey." He chirped pleasantly as he braced the distance, hand raised in a semi wave. The joy was somewhat dimmed as he neared and began to notice just how beaten up and tired the other man was, a flutter of worry in his throat. What was strong enough to do this to him?
Ohhh well more importantly, was he okay? "You alright buddy?" He inquired as he neared, taking in the seeping shoulder wound.

It took a moment for Bimini's words to get through to the man on the ground, as energy drained and out of it as he was. When he finally realized that someone was there, he glanced up, and even managed a smile when he focused enough to realize who it was.
"Binini, my man, good to see you're still alive." Maybe Ghen had his doubts. "And you got an upgrade too, I see. Does that waterbowl of yours do anything more useful, eh?" He laughed, but it was strained, and as Bimini inquired on the status of his well-being.. well, it was hard to lie when you were bleeding out in front of someone.
"Eh, I think it's just a little nick." The way he was holding himself and the fact that he couldn't stand on his own anymore said otherwise. "You'd think with my upgrade and all this damn armor, I'd be a little more lucky, but nope. Those ******** get my open spot every time." Of course, that was probably just because he was reckless and never guarded it.
He let out one long breath and leaned his head back into the wall behind him, rolled up so he could stare at Bimini without the effort of having to hold it up himself. It was going to be a long night.

Such a friendly and pleasant greeting would have usually sent Bimini to the moon and back. Like, word vomiting pleased greetings and off the cuff chatter about anything and everything. The fact remained that he did even grin pretty wide at the fact Gehenna had recognized and remembered him, despite well.. How incredibly obvious it was that the other knight was roughed up pretty bad. Just a nick ha! Bimini would have been moaning and whining if he'd been hit even half as hard.
There was a look of disbelief and mild scrutiny as severity of the injury were downplayed. It looked like a lot of blood to him.. and all inflamed and unhappy too. Sure he was probably just being manly, but sometimes being smart or cautious was the better option.
"That is pretty damn unlucky. But then.. I suppose we're all pretty unlucky for getting roped into this thing." He agreed with a frown, glancing down at his bowl only when it was mentioned, the grin returning to his face with a slow creep as he had that Ah Ha! moment.
"Actually it does do something kind of cool." He was musing as he knealed down just a little tipping the bowl until water began to trickle onto the man beneath him. He was aiming at the wound as he concentrated even though it wasn't particularly necessary, his teeth gritted, one eye comicly closed.
He had channeled his magic one time before, for Sailor Ate, but any worries he had about forgetting how or messing up faded as he felt the energy drain from him.
Poor Gehenna had been showered with almost half of Bimini's bowl of water, but by the time the Cosmos squire stepped back with expectant and curious eyes.. he would notice something had indeed happened.
The wound was still there angry and bleeding for the most part, but Gehenna would feel most of the pain related faded and dull, as if someone had slipped him a really good pain killer (vicodine). "How are you feeling now?"

Gehenna was happy to cease the babble and let Bimini perform his magic - he really needed to stop wasting so much energy.
At first he winced as water rushed down and over his open wound, but as the water flowed more freely he realized that the pain was lessening to a point that he could barely feel it. By the time Bimini stood up and asked him how he was, it was a dull ache.
"A little wet, but.. much better." With the pain dulled the energy drain wasn't quite as noticeable to him. Very slowly, he pushed himself to his feet, leaning back into the wall once again but managing not to stumble or fall. Yet, as he glanced back down at his arm he noticed that there was fresh blood dribbling over the area that the water had washed clean.
So it was a painkiller, not a miracle cure. Eh, beggers and choosers and all.
"That's a pretty damn good trick," he breathed out, "but I'm thinking that I probably need a good stitching before I black out in an alley somewhere for a youma to find."

Bimini's power could have definately been better. He'd seen senshi that breathed fire or threw metal and known negaverse soliders that wielded big scary spears. But after months of having nothing but a bowl of water... Months of people teasing him and his own playful laments over his bad luck... Well the little magic trick seemed a HELL of a lot cooler and more useful. It was amazing he wasn't tromping around town using it on anyone and everyone just to show it off.
Practically beaming with joy though at the compliment, he hardly connected the dots until Gehenna did it for him, letting the bowl shift to his side as he tried to offer himself as a brace. "I umm.. don't know how to do that unfortunately." It was probably a good one to pick up or know though.. in this 'line of work'. Probably better suited for someone less squimish though.
"But I'd be happy to be your crutch and help get you someplace that can faster." Bimini, ever helpful, even if it wasn't quite.. as much help as someone needed.

Even in his misery Gehenna found it hard to be mean to the ever zealous Knight of Cosmos. His good arm reached out for the brace that he offered and slowly draped across his shoulders. If Bimini had been a normal person, Ghen would have hesitated over putting his weight on him, but being that the guy was a knight? He figured he could handle even his bulk with ease.
"That would be ******** swell," he could still feel his energy being sapped somewhere beneath the dulled pain and as he leaned his darker, blood stained body into the sparkling pale one next to him, he was glad that Bimini had such lucky timing.
"I don't want to bother with the hospital and it's a long walk besides," he frowned, then pointed his wounded arm feebly down the road towards Penny's apartment. "Cimmerian lives down that way, if you think you could manage it." He just had to hope the work-aholic was home.

The weight wasn't too much. He was still full of energy, and still high off of the new powers of being a squire anyway. So when Gehenna leaned his weight in Bimini simply shifted a little to find a position comfortable for the both of them before beginning to walk in the direction of the pointed arm. "Onward then!"
Red would likely mingle with his crisp and clean duds as they walked, but luckily Bimini didn't have to worry about the great mysteries of the world like how to get blood stains out of clothing. No matter how wet or dirty he got it, his robes always popped back perfect and pristine the next time he powered up. Magic.
"A fellow knight?" He asked curiously as he waited for a signal when to turn. He wasn't totally up on his astrology or geography so it could have well been a senshi too.
---------------
With the other knight wounded it didn't lead to much conversation other than the general directions to get him where he needed. And when Bimini fnially did deliver Gehenna to the place, and woman, he'd requested the squire felt a mild sense of pride. Sure he hadn't done anything really important. He hadn't saved the day or won some great battle. But in the end.. hopefully he'd helped a little. Returned a favor for someone who had once done him a solid.
