I was inspired by Emni from her rant and I wanna rant too.

The b***h About The Guild Alright, so I just joined this Kingdom Hearts RolePlay (Don't ask) and I've created my character posted in the threads and while I'm posting I noticed how illiterate everyone was posting their stuff and so I'm just like 'Ohkay, that's fine. Maybe I can help by posting a topic about how to RP properly since I wanna help everyone out + myself.' BAD IDEA! So after I waste about 2 full hours posting the dang thing the VC comments and says 'we're not professional, this guild is for fun.' FOR FUN. so I told him 'if there's a guild committed to it then it's gotta be professional, it's a responsibility.' So I get banned form the guild WITHOUT EXPLANATION. Apparently the Captain said I was 'running the guild' and being the new boss blah blah. WTF ALL I DID WAS POST SOMETHING TO HELP PEOPLE ROLEPLAY! I WAS TRYING TO TEACH! AND YOU EFFING BAN ME FOR NO REASON AND NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO ME ABOUT IT AND I HAVE TO ASK A FRIEND WHO IS PART FO THE GUILD AND IS ALSO MY FRIEND TO HAVE QUESTIONS ANSWERED ABOUT IT?! What a b***h. Honestly. OH!
I forgot to freaking mention this too. SHE IS THE EFFING VC OF THIS OTHER RP GUILD THAT MY FRIEND IS OWNER OF. ARGHIOHVGJHIPOHVBHJRAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGE

I know, but I need to rant once in a while. And I have created my own guild...it's just that it isn't doing too well right about now.

Teens are fickle and hormonal. I,however, think she's about 13 or something. She's got this weird affinity (With that sig. 'I own this char.' blah blah blah) with the little chibi character from the popular game I was trying to RP. Fickle reminds me of sickle. Random thought.

Hello there Wuppa. I actually completely agree with you. Every roleplay guild has it's illiterate writers. (The vocaloid roleplay guild we're both in does too, and I'm actually getting kind pissed off about it, but they can't really help it either.) I know I'm not the best writer myself, but I try to learn and get better. I think you did something good by trying to help the people in that guild. And it's just really stupid and immature from that captain to ban you for trying to help.

I would make the argument that most people on Gaia are illiterate idiots.
You have to research places before you join. It shouldn't be like that, but it is. I mean, I wouldn't even bother RPing with someone who can't be bothered to learn how to type, spell, or use grammar. I judge people, honestly, and when online, one of the most obvious indicators of someone is how they type. So, when someone doesn't type properly, I assume they're an unintelligent child. /mean
I've quit a RPing guild before that 1) was an exact rip-off of the guild I came from, where they had gone in and invited all the active members to try and steal them away, and 2) had taken images of characters from the internet to use instead of drawing/commissioning their own and then banned us if we happened to use the same image.
People are just stupid.

My issue was that they used admittedly well known images, then banned us for using the same.

I don't think they should have banned you, but I think it should be clear if an rp is lit or not before you join so you don't waste your time. I like lit, but sometimes it takes so long to reply or something. Semi-lit and lower at least has you going.
I think the lit levels just cater to different audiences. I think it's best in the middle, but I've never actually seen or read a mid level rp. I do love me some Kingdom Hearts! heart

Ahem. I have been moping about things like this for a while, and I have a brilliantly evil plan.
Make a new Gaian. Don't put a whole lot of thought behind it, just do it real quick. Then, join the guild, Then, fill it with terrible roleplaying. And I mean absolutely TERRIBLE roleplyaing. And when they ask you to clean up your act...Tell them something about how you come to Gaia to have fun, not to write essays for school.
I don't even know if this is legal...But it sure did make me feel better just thinking about it.
So, answer: Just think evil plans on how to ruin their lives, then move on. Or actually put the evil plans to work. Either way, it is SO. Freaking. Fun!

I don't mind your style as long as you get the basic point across and your grammar isn't atrocious; and as long as you're using actual English, not 1337 or txt spk, all is well.
