As soon as everyone was ready, Kerberos grabbed the parchment from the guard in charge of it and walked around the castle. Loudly, he began the enchantment, it was a long and tedious thing to say, but this needed to be done before anything else. The general made his way around the fire, watching the circles and patters start to move and flow together. Good, the spell was working, this is what he needed. Each stone the patrons were holding also began to glow in color, strange ancient writing appearing on the rocks. A little more and the rocks would be returned together. The patrons were bathed in a colorful light, and once the sign on floor began to lift, there would be nothing to stop her return from happening, he could almost feel her now.

Enfaya sprinted towards the closed doors; behind these she could feel her. The queen was going to come back, Kerberos was summoning her back! Enfaya threw open the doors and starred in horror. The patrons were within the circles which were lighting them in colors, she could see a few treelings here and there. The stones had now, left the patrons hands to float closer to the fire. “Kerberos noooo!” Enfaya tried to yell above his voice, but it only seemed to spur the general on in a much louder voice. Quickly, she turned to the ones who had followed her, eyes wild in panic, this could not be happening. “Stop them! However you can, use your treelings but we must stop them!” Enfaya didn’t care anymore if these were patrons; they were helping bring the queen back!

Kerberos say Enfaya coming at him and grinned as he unseathed his sword, if she wanted to play within his court, then so be it. He’d given his patrons enough to protect themselves; Enfaya’s head would be the best welcome gift to his queen. With one hand he swung the great sword, missing Enfaya has she swiftly moved to the side to try and get a kick at Kerberos. The general grunted as the hit connected and he swung once more at her, his voice never stopping as he noticed the stones finally starting to move away from the patrons to form together. The air had gotten thick and the patterns had lifted off the floor to join the rocks together. It wouldn’t be long now, for the Queen to return.

---------------------------------------------
Things are about to get a little more complicated!
This is going to be a little taste of our future battle system.
Patrons will not be fighting, instead your treelings will be fighting for you.
Everyone has 10 life points.
Guardians level 4 will have 5 life points.
Everyone participating in thise phase must keep a record of their life points either at the top or bottom of their post.
When you want to hit someone, you will bold the name of the person you are attacking and roll one 4 sided dice.
This person will lose the rolled amount of life. Be aware, no one is dying!

Mentari chased after Enfaya, trying to catch up with the frantic woman. She froze at the sight that greeted her beyond the doors. There were beautiful lights radiating from a circle of people, patterns and rock floating in a display that awed the young woman; if only it were not for the immense pressure that threatened to split open her skull, she would have thought it beautiful. But then Mentari noticed the strange group that was before her: there was a horned creature, and even a child? This is who was to fight a war against them?

She was shocked out of her stupor at Enfaya's screaming, and stuttered at the command. When the woman started going all out against the intimating man shouting chants Mentari knew instantly that she was supposed to hurt these people.

Her treeling fumbled out of her arms on instinct. She wasn't ready. She was no where NEAR ready. But these people....they wouldn't think twice about attacking her in return, would they?

"D-dontae," she intended to yell, but it came out barely louder than a whisper. "Don't let them..." She immdediatly aimed for what she thought most threating: the horned woman. "S-stop her! Just..just help me knock her out!" She went forward, intending to be the one doing most of the damage. What could a plant really do? But the treeling shot forward ahead of her, taking a shot at the one Mentari intended to harm.

Pyper was caught up in watching the summoning when Enfaya attacked. She watched in fear as Enfaya and Kerberos did battle. The stone had left her arms and was floating with the others when other patrons with treelings came in after Enfaya.

Pyper's treeling sensed the coming onslaught. As an attack was aimed at her guardian, Yggdra placed herself in front of her as to block. Though she took considerable damage. Pyper watched in terror as her treeling took the blow. This made her angry. "Fight back," she ordered. The treeling was more than happy to oblige.

Mentari had planned on using her own fists to fight for her life; which she assumed was on the line. But she reeled back as the other seemed to have a treeling of her own. Agile feet put more distance between her and the fighting treelings. Her green eyes widened as her mind tried to process how…violent the pudgy, lazy seeming creature was. Enfaya spoke of magic and the plant being a weapons, so physical confrontation with it was the last thing she’d been expecting.

She wanted to maneuver herself around the scene, but the other plant was just as protective of its guardian as was hers. They tried to surpass each other, pushing to get the humanoid creatures and neither getting purchase. Mentari slid back timidly, looking around for any others that might come for the pair.

Rasslyre had been startled when Kerberos began to loudly recite some words and such as he traveled around the fire in the room. The longer this ritual continued, Rasslyre slowly was able to make out the muted colors that were being emitted from the stones that were now floating above them. The patrons on either side of her seemed to be just as intrigued with the current happenings as she was, and as the the air seemed to become more and more charged with a growing sensation that placed Rasslyre at a loss of words, a sense of anticipation seemed to settle within the room.

Just as Kerberos was on the far side of the room opposite of her, she picked up the sound of rushed footsteps approaching. Confused, Rasslyre turned her head slightly in the direction of the approaching individuals, gasping when a small group seemed to skid to a halt just within the chamber. They were too far away for her to accurately make out how many there were, but it seemed that the one who had been leading was a female. Her shrill screams added to Kerbero's increased chanting volume caused Rasslyre to cringe and shrink away.

She picked up on all of the things said by the leading female and in a sudden blur of color and motion, a conflict between the two groups had broken out. The clashing sounds and blurred movements were overwhelming Rasslyre and she shrunk back to the furthest edge of the circle she was standing in.

It seemed that a fight had broken out with the patron to her right, and Rasslyre bit her lip in indecision. Technically the lines had been drawn tonight and the others participating in the Queen's summoning were officially her allies now, so she should feel obligated to assist the other woman. At the same time, she herself had not been targeted yet so perhaps it would be best for her to order Tsahik to simply be on the defensive.

Swallowing past a lump in her throat, Rasslyre made her decision. "Tsahik. Help Pyper."

There was a fast moving object to her right, and Mentari had looked up just in time to avoid a collision. She stumbled over her feet while Dontae was forced back into her. The treeling didn’t seem affronted by another one of its kind barreling into it, but the battle with the creature’s own was taking its toll. She took in the plant that had aided in attacking hers, then its owner. She assessed the woman head to toe in two seconds, and only gathered info a woman impaired with a staff. This was a follower of the ‘Dark Queen’? Cripples, creatures, and children! How was she supposed to go against these with an honest fist?

Dontae made the move for her, though. After staring down its two opponents it went for the newcomer in hopes to dispel it from the fight immediately. Mentari in the meantime, tried to figure a way around the battle to the creature that resembled the lore of fairytales.

She had expected it really, the retaliation that is, but when the small form came rushing in her direction it did little to quell her fear. As it got closer, she was able to see that it was pretty much the same form as her treelling was. The colored blur was definitely different from her own and a few of the others she had seen with the other patrons from earlier, and tensing as it drew closer she tightened her grip on her staff. Drawing her staff back, Rasslyre swiped it low enough to cover the area in front of her in a wide, if not fairly clumsy arc. She knew her rudimentary self defense skills would do little against these little soldiers from what she had heard so far, but it could possibly buy enough time to allow her own treelling to get over here to help. "Tsahik-" she began to call, but the little creature was already placing himself between her and the other.

Rasslyre bit her lip, hurting people was never on the top of her to do lists. But, it would make sense to fight back if something was posing a direct threat to her… right? She was dubious nonetheless, however had little time to be thinking these over. It seemed she had the attention of the other woman now, and took little time in directing Tsahik to defend and attack when the chance arose.

"Be careful.. try to find a way past it's guard!"

Blocking the attack Dontae bestowed, Mentari felt a sort of pride at how much strength the little one appeared to have. She quickly banished the feeling to assess the surroundings again. The first opponent had made no move since the older woman had come to its defense, and all others had been caught up in their own battles. She was too afraid to look at the events of Enfaya’s predicament; the chanting was still loud enough to haunt the woman should she focus it.

Her opponent was talking strategy aloud. The intention of hurt was there, and did Mentari really expect anything different? It didn’t matter if she appeared a cripple; Mentari had attacked on the premise of taking the other down. Her plant appeared to be slowing, a fresher opponent after his first taking it's toll. “Don’t let up Dontae,” she commanded, firm. Doubts did nothing but make her more anxious and she shoved these thoughts out of the way, making her new focus the woman whom seemed to be more than her appearance let on.

While the battle had started around them, Kerberos kept a god watch on his patrons, the Queen would not likely enjoy him presenting her a dead court. Shoving Enfaya aside, he moved around to make sure the other patrons were okay. A qucik glance at the stones and he knew they had come together and were growth, sucking in the warmth of the fire for their energy. Not once did he stop chanting, he could already see the form of the queen was the crystal grew bigger and bigger. Once the crystal had reached it’s peak, it would start to melt, and the Queen would be returned to him. However, before he could do anything, Enfaya was at him again and Kerberos could only try and hold her off until he could get another chance to help the poor patron. Her treeling wouldn’t last very long if he didn’t do something soon.

Enfaya was glad her patrons were finally fighting back, and it looked like they would be okay, she could concentrate on Kerberos. Though the split second she did give them a glance, she was shoved to the ground by Kerberos and sent skidding across the floor. He was trying to save his own patrons, Enfaya steeled herself and got up and went after him. She could feel the dark queens frozen gaze on her, Enfaya glanced at her once. Creepy, she did not want that woman back in living flesh among them. Thankfully, she reached Kerberos before he could fall on a patron, there would have been no way any of them would have survived if Kerberos had reached them.

Rasslyre winced as the opposing treeling continued it's onslaught of attacks on herself and Tsahik. Her eyes were beginning to ache from the strain brought on in her attempts to keep track of the other female and creature. The loud thunk from a short distance away, caused Rasslyre to become distracted and glance over in that direction.

During that moment of distraction, Tsahik was sent skidding into her legs. It was a scramble to keep her balance and not end up kicking her little plant creature as she fell to one knee in a crouch. Rasslyre was never more thankful for her flexibility and balance gained through years of dancing than she was now. Sliding her hand further up her waling stick for better balance in her half crouching stance, she used her free one to scoop up her Treeling from the ground and gently push it forward.

"Go on Tsahik. You've got this."

There was a small moment of victory when the other, ‘Tsahik,’ went stumbling back towards its owner. But when it returned it fought with strength it hadn’t shown before, and her little gift faltered. It pushed back, but Mentari couldn’t imagine a good outcome in the near future. If the weapon went down, Mentari would be left to her own devices. This wasn’t very worrisome in itself, but if Tsahik was still standing…the small woman really wished she’d been able to remember the route to take out of here.

“Dontae…” She worried for the little plant himself. If all went sour, would she abandon it? Mentari juggled the thought in her head, guilt against self-preservation. She didn’t think she could find it in herself to do so, no. She was too soft in that regard. Hopefully she wouldn’t pay too harsh a price for it.

A light was shining over the battle, distracting. She spared a glance over at the fight between leaders and saw the large crystal growing; breathing even. Should they have been attacking that instead all along? The dark pressure in her head earlier was nothing compared to what she felt coming from the glowing stone. Her fingers shook slightly, unbeknownst to herself, and she tried to focus on when her Dontae needed saving.

Rasslyre was rather surprised at the sudden burst of energy from Tsahik as he returned to the fight after tumbling into her. Both of the little creatures were showing signs of fatigue now, and Rasslyre nervously wondered just how much longer it would take for the Queen to successfully be summoned. That was what the others had come for right? To put a stop to the attempted summoning of the old and banished queen. Straightening once more to her full height, Rasslyre listened intently to the battles going on around her. Tsahik was fighting with the ferocity of a cornered animal, and she winced as she heard the collision of the two treelings as they battled.

She was unsure of what would happen if Tsahik was knocked out of commission, on one hand the smart thing to do was simply to run away, but Rasslyre was unsure if she was allowed to move from the circle that she stood in. Moreover if things actually moved to be favorable towards her, and Tsahik ended up being able to best the other treeling, Dontae if she had been hearing correctly, would she be able to comfortably let Tsahik continue on attacking the other woman?

She knew the answer before the question had even fully formed in her mind. No, no she would not. That other female had not directly attacked Rasslyre, if anything, it was Rasslyre herself who had initiated the push and shove between them. Besides, this was already so far out of her comfort zoom that Rasslyre just wanted to scoop up her new treeling and high tail it back to Omach. Summoning or no, she just wanted to go back to Casimir and hopefully never have to set foot in Vritra again. She sighed at that thought however, for some reason, she very much doubted that this would be her last time in these dark region of the World.

Dontae flew to her left and hit the dirt hard. This time he didn’t get up, and Mentari whipped her head around for help. She thought of calling for Cinfai, the floating boy, or his companion. But she couldn’t spot them amongst the many heads moving about. No one seemed to notice her own impending demise and Mentari rushed towards her fallen plant. Whatever oncoming attack, she risked it and snatched the injured to herself. Then the sun defender rushed to her feet, not noticing Dontae’s wince at his owner’s rough hands.

Mentari stared down at Tsahik, already set in her mind that another blow was coming. She worried her lip and looked towards her leader. She said the treelings would protect them, she didn’t say what would happen should they fail. “Enfaya!” She yelled for her leader, not really expecting any aid so much as a nervous cry. Enfaya was wrapped in her own troubles, fighting against a much more important figure.
