Oh gawd I know we're addicts D :

What did the Boogeyman Training grounds and the most recent attack on Amity show? That Hel needed to train more. That she wasn’t training hard enough. Always training, never not training. This October’s weather was a bit chilly than usual, and to top it off, it was raining all day. Did that stop Hel from training outdoors since she woke up?

Nope.

Seemed the reaper would be paying for it this time though.

Hel climbed the stairs to the Reaper dorm’s third floor, the sound of water sloshing accompanying the sound of her boots echoing off of the floors. For a lack of better words she looked like a drowned rat. Like she had jumped into a pool of water fully clothed…and was dripping all over the place as well. She wasn’t done though, oh no, absolutely not. She was just returning to her room to grab another hair band, since she lost one of hers while flailing about outside. Wet hair in your face wasn’t pleasant.

The valkyrie sniffled as she made her way down the hall.

Done.

He'd spent a long time on it, days and days, but it was finally done. Mot breathed a sigh, wiping his brow with his forearm as he looked down at his masterpiece.

A wooden ocarina. One he made for Hel as a gift.

She had been so happy when she'd seen it half finished. Now that it was done, polished and detailed to perfection, would she fall in love with it all over again? He smiled to himself, wrapping the gift in it's leather cloth once more and stashing it in his belt-pouch.

The grim reaper exited his bedroom and out into the hall, only to hear a queer noise. Was a swamp monster visiting a reaper or what? His brows knitted together as he watched the hallways, waiting for the noise maker to show.
To see it was Hel behind the sloshing? Did not see it coming. More like he heard it.

"Hel?!" Mot squeaked, staring at the ghoul in the hall with his mouth gaping open. "Are.. you okay? Did you get caught in the rain?"

Upon turning the corner, Hel was greeted by the sight of her cowboil, and she waved at him, her sleeve sending water droplets everywhere. A wine-colored eye peered out at him through her mussed bangs and she came to stop in front of her door, a puddle quickly accumulating at her feet. She gave a small chuckled at his words.

Caught in the rain…? Ah…yes, I suppose you could say that…” Hel sneezed. “I’ve been training! It has been raining ever since I woke up and well…I could not let that stop me!” She brushed a thumb against her nose, and sniffled again, wrinkling it. “I am not staying long though, I just returned to grab a hair band.”

Mot's brows knit together in worry. Training all day? In that storm? That didn't sound healthy, and neither did Hel.

"Ah.." Mot reached out hesitantly, taking her shoulder in his hand. "I really think you should rest for the day. You've done more than enough. You don't look well and.." Mot hesitated, knowing how stubborn the ghoul could be. Especially about training.

"..this isn't healthy."

Hel was about to reach for her door when she felt Mot’s hand on her shoulder, and the ghoul paused, peering up at him.

“…Ah, nonsense, Mot! I am fine! One can never do enough, and this isn’t the first time I’ve done it, either.” She waved a hand at him, flicking some water drops in his direction. “Not healthy? Psshaw, I’ll be alright, Mot! You worry too much.” The ghoul sneezed again, and then shuddered.

Mot flinched as she flicked water droplets at him, flicking some off of his face "And you don't worry enough." He rebuttled, turning her around while keeping his grip on her shoulder firm. He didn't want to think of how many times she must have done this before.

If her constant sneezing and that shudder meant anything, it was that Mot was right to worry.

"You aren't going back out there." Mot insisted with a waver in his voice.

Beings spend too much time worrying and not enough time doing.” Hel replied oh so helpfully.

The ghoul blinked as Mot turned her around, and she stared up at him. At his wavered statement, the girl gave a short laugh. “Oh really?” She echoed, amused that he thought he could stop her. “Says who, Mot, and who is going to stop me? I know you’re not.” Her lips curled up.

Mot looked taken aback at her words. "What do you mean?" Who says he won't? Did she doubt his resolve? He was a little bit hurt. No, definitely hurt that she would think he was a pushover. It was even worse that she would give him such a smug expression like he was powerless to stop her.

"Hel, I mean it. You aren't going back out there like this!"

What do you mean, what do I mean? I am saying it exactly as it is.” The ghoul reached up and grabbed his hand, lifting it off of her shoulder and giving it a squeeze before releasing it and moving past him. Forget the hair band, she had a stubborn point to prove now.

And I mean it. I am going back out there to train, Motty, and there is nothing you can do about it. I’ll see you later, alright?” The ghoul shot him a triumphant grin, and then started to make her way back down the hall.

No. She was just. Dismissing him like his opinion didn't even matter? Did he really garner so little respect from his ghoulfriend?

Mot was starting to get a little put off now.

"Hel." He called out sternly as she walked away. "Get back here."

It wasn’t that she didn’t respect him…it was just well…Hel did what she wanted when she wanted…and she really wanted to go train still.

The ghoul looked surprised by the stone tern Mot was suddenly taking with her…but she kept on walking as she looked at him over her shoulder. “I told you Mot, I will not stop going until I permanently cease to exist!” She waved her hand at him, and turned the corner. “…Gotta get stronger and protect you.” She murmured under her breath.

Mot grit his teeth together. She seriously was going to go out there and work herself to death. It didn't matter that she would simply respawn; Mot did not see it as healthy, either way.
This was just wrong.
Around the corner, and she was gone.

He'd.. just let her walk away? No. The grim reaper would not be taken lightly. He clenched his fists tightly, and followed after her. His pace was quick, with long strides to close the distance. His boots made strong contact with the flooring, and his spurs clicked behind him harshly.

Hel would find you don't want to get on Mot O'Boyle's bad side.

The raven haired boil caught up with Hel, grabbed her around the waist, and hoisted her soaking wet body over his shoulder. "You will not simply cease to exist. Not under my watch." He uttered gravely, turning on his heel and walking back to her bedroom.

Any attempt to look him in the eye, one would see a furious red tint to his usually warm gaze.

Clip clop clip clop.

That was the sound of her steel plated boots on the floor…and soon there was another sound of boots, eating up the floor at a frightening pace, accompanied by the clinking sounds of something metallic. Was someone coming down the hall to—

Hel’s arms and legs flailed as she was suddenly swept off of the ground, and she let out a rather undignified yelp as her stomach rested on a somewhat thin shoulder. In an effort to steady herself, the ghoul’s hands found themselves fisting the fabric of assailant’s vest, and her head snapped around to get a second, clear look at who just picked her up. Mot!? Hel shook her head, clearing her bangs away to stare at the cowboil wide eyed and stunned. Sure, he had tossed her over his shoulder during their fieldtrip, but that was because Herryk told him to…he had done it now on his own volition.

Uh…” The valkyrie hung there a bit limply, still trying to figure out what exactly just happened.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 15, 2012 11:41 pm

Mot didn't even spare her a glance.

The reaper marched straight back to the ghoul's bedroom door, standing to face it straight on. Open it normally? That was only for one thinking with a cool head. For all he knew it might be locked.

Without a moment's hesitation, the reaper lifted a leg and kicked the door in so hard it matched the force of a bucking skeletal horse. The door flew open with wood splinters flying every which way. Mot's cut up hands, still raw from his wood carving, gripped Hel's waist firmly, and he stepped inside her room as if he owned the place.

He kicked the door closed, and brought Hel down to her feet as softly as he could under the amount of tension he was currently under. He gripped her shoulders, and leaned in close, facing her with a wicked scowl. "You will march into that bathroom, warm up in the shower, and then you will dress in dry pajamas. You will go no where but your bed after that, do you understand me, Hel?" He scolded strongly, not even allowing himself to blink.

Seems they were back tracking…oh hey, there was Mot’s door, so that meant they were right in front of hers? Hel tried peering over her shoulder the best she could, and her eyes went as wide as dinner plates as Mot just kicked in her door. Her hands clenched the fabric of his vest and shirt tighter, and no, oddly she was not at all upset about the abuse of her door…no…secretly she was impressed with how forceful the usually calm and collected cowboil was being.

He took her right into her room with confidence, and even kicked her door shut.

The ghoul stared up at him with an uncovered wide eye, and at his tone, hold, and stare well…her stomach was flip flopping. Was she blushing too? Oddly she didn’t think it was from the cold she was coming down with. Hel, for a moment, looked like she wanted to try and challenge him…but the words or the thoughts wouldn’t form themselves. The valkyrie ended up just giving him a dumb nod of her head, her lips parted in awe. Oooh…Motty was angry…and she thought it was terribly intriguing and awe inspiring.

She was stunned into submission.

The ghoul slowly backed away, glancing back at him every so often with blaring red cheeks, and then shuffled her way to the bathroom. Mot would then hear the sound of the shower starting up.
