Bearcatthorin: "I have a bad cold." Snow Miser: "You should have come to me, I'd have given you a good one" OK here we go, anyone have any household remedies they would like to share? You witches are supposed to be good at this kind of stuff. Please share for the benefit of all.

D: Oh noes!! Have some mint tea if your throat is sore, and willowbark for the fever. Also, drink lots of water. And orange juice. Vitamin C is always good.

Lemon balm. When in doubt lemon balm the b***h. It's considered something of a cure-all.

I've seen it called "lemon bush" too. It's in the mint family and as such is hard to kill. Melissa officinalis is the nomenclature. You can get it through mail or probably at any shop that sells herbs if you can't find it growing somewhere.

I know a shop that sells herbs, I'll check it out, I'm not a naturalist, I could never identify it in the wild, I can barely tell the difference between grass and trees. LOL smile

LOL smile I did have some tincture of lemon balm but the alcohol evaporated over time. I guess it wasn't sealed well enough.
