Thunderous, spine-chilling, wild... Free. That's how Sheria felt right now. nothing could stop her, she was going to do it. She was going to run away, that's what that damn bird had taught her. She didn't need wings to fly away, all she needed to do is decide that her life was her own decision and nothing was going to stop her from living a life that she would be proud of. Not some horror story planned out for her by her pack, what sort of family would do that? Not one to be proud of, not one that she could ever love. How could she? They had her suffering under this fate from day one and now it was ever closer she was scared; there was no denying.

Hooves pounding in to the dirt, kicking back mud with a buck backwards in to the air and a rearing, head-first dive over a hill showed how much she had wanted it. The passion in her eyes was burning but how long would this last before the guilt set in? That they were her family, whether bad or good. She should stick with them, she wanted to be a wolf even though she could never truly be full wolf or look like the others they were blood and a code of loyalty was stuck. What would her brothers do without her? Moonshine was innocent and non the wiser to her mothers trickery. Sure, she had saved her from a Skinwalker and taught her survival tactics... Taught her how to be the leader they needed her to be and though she was grateful for those details she still couldn't come to grips she was 'owned.'

The night was young but around her cradled shadows and the center of the plain a moonlit canvas, above pricked with glittering balls of white. More beautiful than she had ever seen it. Perhaps that was due to her reckless rebellion which had been further inspired by her recent new friendship with Aellai. Sheria could run forever she loved it that much but as she headed further away from home, the distant howls sounded. One by one they squeezed her heart causing her to come to an immediate halt by a calm, running stream. She sighed, her reflection was coated in wind swept hair and her cheeks throbbing in and out as she inhaled and exhaled ragged breath from the run.

"I don't know what to do... Somneone save me. Please."
Eyelids came to a tight close, throat burning she knew it wouldn't be long before their howls called her back and her tears would roll. How could she be a leader, she was nothing what they wanted her to be.

With calm steps Alexandre made his way through the forest, aiming to reach the other side. He had never strayed this far from his cave before but the excitement from doing so left adrenaline pumping through his veins. His family had long since left the cave in search of their own paths in life. Or continuing paths in his parents case. It had been months since he had last seen them and their absence was well missed. But he knew that he needed to grow up, see the world. Well-- in his own way. He knew that in order for himself to become an adult he needed to let the past go and deal with the current time. No matter how hard it was to face the fact that he was now alone.

It had crossed his mind often that he should adopt a woodland animal. But the idea of taking someone else from their family and home seemed almost cruel. With a sigh Alexandre came to a halt, his masked propped up on his muzzle. He needed to come up with a plan soon. Or actually follow through with the one he had made with himself as a colt. That he would get out of the cave and the surrounding area and travel all across the lands. What he would search for did not matter. The goal was to meet everyone he could, even the less than savory. To learn things that before seemed unattainable. With a smirk he continued his walk, barely trotting along.

After a short time, he noticed the forest was beginning to fade from his sides, the brush no longer attacking his hide with it's branches. And then out of the blue he heard what sounded like howls. Stopping where he stood his eyes widened underneath his mask, his ears flicking toward the direction in which they came. What if that was the sound of someone who was hurt? He couldn't very well leave them. But then again, who howled? Surely not a friendly creature. Sighing loudly, a bit of agitation seeping through Alexandre turned himself in the direction of the howls. He thought for sure the howl was the sound made by a skinwalker. Which meant he was surely heading to his death. But he wasn't going to let anyone suffer in pain, no matter how dark and twisted they were.

"Hm." Alexandre said after only about an hour or so of walking. Taking in a deep but silent breath Alexandre noticed the smell of a mare. Although, he could smell something else on her, something he had never smelt before. Had this been the one howling? He smelled no blood in the air so it was unlikely she was injured. At least outwardly so. Shrugging slightly Alexandre made his way towards the female. When he finally reached her he made sure to keep a small distance between them, just in case this should indeed be a skinwalker or the mare be timid. "Hello miss." He said softly. "Was that you I heard howling?" Alexandre asked, bowing in his normal greeting to her, one wings tips touching his chest. When he rose he replaced his wing on his back and gently smiled, sensing something to be a bit off in the air. Sadness. That was what he felt in the wind.

There was no turning back. Refusing to give in to the howls and the tears threatening to burst to light, she gulped, took a deep breath in and then brought herself to an upright position. She had to do this for herself, it was the only way she could ever respect who she was and the person she was going to be. In that distant future, in the dreams she had of want and desire; In that moment, it seemed reachable. She was about to make her next move when a voice, floating as if a whisper, came from behind her. Her skin crawled then shivered upward almost taking her body with them. She spun around quickly to see who the voice belonged to, it was softer than any that had entered her ears before and in return caused her own gaze to soften as the figure came clearly in to sight.

He was blinding white, like a blanket of pure snow. Under all that hair was the only differing colour, a black mask of sorts with teeth curling his maw. The stallion left her in awe, not being able to help but stare in silence for a little longer to take him in. He could fly, represented by the large, elegant wings tucked in by his sides. A small, fluffy tail, cupped ears and forked hooves like a deer. She wondered if he was part deer. In her stare, she just about forgot he had spoken. Coughing to clear her throat she shook her head and plucked up a smile for him.

"N-no, that wasn't me." She laughed nervously under her breath, fearing after that it would give her emotions away or that he had seen her silent plead for help. "That's my pack calling me home." She nodded, eyes slipping to the side. "I don't feel like going home right now though." Looking back to the pearly white male, she twisted her head to the side. All the stories she had heard about Eden, the angels and the imps. About ivory coats, gentle creatures she wondered if he was one of them, he certainly came across as what her vision of an angel would look like.

"Are you an angel... From Eden?"
As the words left her mouth, she suddenly closed in on herself, looking shyly from under her bangs. It hit her that this male could be the one to take her there, or could of been 'him' and yet, at the same time such a soft spoken creature had this comforting pull to him. He had greeted her in such a polite gesture that how could he ever be any harm to her? Though, if he wasn't from Eden he would most likely think her as a nutcase. Yup, with her luck, that would be the first impression he got of her. Well this was just great.
