User ImageImarogbe knew he was awake when he could see the orange color of the rising sun shining through his eyelids. When he finally opened his blue eyes, the world turned a variety of golds, greens, and other earth tones. Well, here goes another day, he thought.

Slowly, detaching himself from the warmth of the ground, he leaned forward and backward stretching out his limbs. Smiling up at the new day's sun, he crawled out of the cave he had found hidden in the ground. Coming out of the only exit and entrance of the cave, he gazed at the forest that surrounded him.

It wasn't a bad place at all really, he wasn't used to living in the forests, but he had to admit that it was beautiful with the light shining through the canopy warming the ground. Shaking himself awake, he began to walk through the endless trees far from his makeshift home.

Eventually, he heard the sound of a small creature scurrying away, and he abruptly turned and ran afer it. Having become a much better hunter, it did not take him long to run down the hare before him. Tearing into his breakfast, he wandered what the day would bring.

User Image Kivisha looked around the small den she was staying in. Walking out of the den she smiled as the sun hit her as it filtered down through the branghes of the tree, she was so happy to have the sun on her coat it felt nice on her sandy brown fur as she started to stretch getting ready to go out for her morning hunt perhaps followed by a nice swim.

Crouching before running after the small creature she heard landing on the rabbit and eating happily before letting herself sit for a bit happy to let her meal digest while she was in the cool of the forest. Looking around her she smiled at the beauty of the area she was in. It was nice though there were many places that he was going. She was looking over at the flowers when she decided she was ready to go swimming. Perhaps she would be able to meet someone while she was out here. She always adored meeting new people.

When she had reached the small area of the river she normally swam at she submersed herself in the water and looked around before diving under to get the cool water all over her as the water felt nice flowing through her fur. When she had finished swimming she went back over to the shore and sat their waiting for the water in her fur to dry off. She would stay there for a while today it felt nice there.

After finishing his breakfast, Ima lounged beneath the sun and laid there lazily for a bit. What could he get into today? He was very much into laying low and staying out of trouble for the time being. While life was decidedly uneventful at the time, it paid off in the peace that it brought him.

Rolling over in the grass, he lifted himself up and headed toward a nearby river that he knew of. With the hot sun rising higher and higher in the sky, Ima could feel himself heating up. The river never looked so inviting with the light reflecting off of the surface.

Leaning down, he lapped up some of the cool water before sliding into the river entirely. He swam about kicking his legs and shaking his head before he noticed the lone figure on the bank. Upon closer inspection, he saw that it was a very pretty lioness.

Immediately stopping what he was doing, he hoped that he hadn't been caught doing anything particularly silly. Still, he slowly made his way toward her and climbed out of the water. "Why hello there," he greeted her pleasantly, "Beautiful day isn't it?"

K'visha lay on the bank letting her mind drift off as she did so not expecting any sort of company at all. The air grew hotter drying her coat quickly as she lay in a patch of sun. Hearing a bit of movement in the water she looked up from her spot ready to judge if the creature causing the movement was friend or foe. she laughed quietly however when she saw the handsome adolescent playing in the water. He looked like he was having fun in there.

When he stopped playing and noticed her she looked back down wanting to see what this Lion would do if he thought she hadn't noticed him. She he spoke to her politely she looked up at him speaking a bit shyly have never really spoken to a male having been on her own for so long. "Hello, It is a beautiful day isn't it?" She was curious as to what the male wanted with her, to come up to here when she was on her own.

"The sun feel's so nice today, not to hot but just perfect." She was trying to make some sort of small talk her blue eyes looking over him as she did so. He was really quite the handsome adolescent. Such nice coloring and a shiny coat.

"Yeah," he said soft but confident voice. Ima tried to find a comprehensable series of words that he could use, but he found himself distracted by her dark turquoise eyes. Who was this lioness? More importantly, what was she doing here?

Living out in the forests he rarely saw anyone traveling alone. He knew where the local families lived, and the only other ones that he saw were the older lions venturing to the end of their lives. Not once in his days in the forest had he expected to come across someone like her.

"My name is Imarogbe. What are you doing out here? I don't see many others very often," he found himself starving to touch her. Living alone had taken its toll on him after a while. While he was strong and independant now, he missed the feel of another next to him.

Imarogbe would never sleep alongside his mother and brothers again, those days were long gone. However, looking into the eyes of the lady before him, he new that the feeling that he felt was why he needed someone to come home with.

K'visha smiled slightly looking over at her companion. She had been on her own far to long she had honestly missed the feeling that came with being around others it was a nice feeling. This sky eyed lion seemed to just draw her into him with his words and movement's. She had scarecly seen anyone since she had journeyed into these forest's from the lands she had been in originally. She was glad to see that the other was being kind to her. It was a nice feeling.

At his question she thought of how to answer. Her name was an easy one though the rest of his question was not that easy. "My name is K'visha, it's nice to meet you Imarogbe. I was wandering food in the plains where i had been living had gotten scarce so I decided it was time to move on this forest just happened to seem like an area with plentiful enough food as well as a good source of water."

Looking over at the lion she lay back down in her sunny spot still not completely dry from her earlier swim. It was nice being around someone else after such a long time. It was honestly not something she would mind becoming permanent. The feeling that someone other than herself was around was something she had missed after she left her parents and her siblings to wander off on her own.

"That it is," he said in referance to the forest, his time here had been nearly surreal living under the trees with only his thoughts to keep him company. With a laugh said,"It has to be since I've been surviving here, and call me Ima." In truth, he had become a decent hunter now, and could feed himself most days. Nevertheless, it was the least of things on his mind at the moment.

"I don't actully live here though, but this'll do until I get back home." Gazing at her, Ima asked, "Do you have a home somewhere to go to? While it is nice around here, it isn't always safe with some of the others that come here." Ima had learned that pleasant surroundings did not always equate to pleasant inhabitants.

Looking off, he said softly, "All I need to do is find someone that will come home with me and help me build my own family. Heh, easier said than done huh?" Ima wasn't exactly sure why he was telling her all of this, but he liked her somehow and wanted to learn more about her. He hadn't really had all that much luck with his quest so far, but perhaps that would change sooner than he thought?

K'visha looked over at the young Lion so he was looking to bring her with him? She wouldn't Ming that but She would need to hear alot more about where she was going to be going if she decided to go with him. he was cute she had to admit and sweet she wouldn't be treated wrongly if she went with him that much she could tell."I have no permanent home to go back to unfortunately. though it would be nice."

She had to admit having a permanent home somewhere sounded nice but even more than that, cubs.... Having a family sounded even better as she was growing fond of this lion she had only meet today already. He was just the type that she liked from what she had seen so far. "Okay Ima... Tell me about this home of yours, I would love to hear more about it."

She looked back up at him waiting for him to tell her, her blue eye's soft and kind as she did so. Truly wanting to hear more about this home of his. She was really considering going with him. She looked up at him watching and waiting.

Surprised at her apparent interest, he told about his home. "Well, compared to what I've seen out here, everybody has big families. Each family is headed by a male, we call them Pads, that cares for and provides everything that his family needs aside from food because usually the lionesses hunt."

"Males are taught to live in peace and unity with one another so that we do not fight one another over silly things and focus on our families and lands," he began proudly. Ima believed in the values held by his pride as he knew them, which was as his mother taught him, and also believed himself to be a good example of the male job description.

"Although, there are males that don't take their responsibilities seriously and choose to use his power against his family, and they suffer for it. But usually, it is peaceful there. We live just outside of the forests next to a big lake called Tanganyika, it's very pretty. I have four brothers that are on their quests as well, I hope to see them again once I get home," he ended his sentence wistfully.

Sometimes it seemed like he had been gone forever, and he missed his family a lot. Looking into her eyes, he asked hesitantly, "Does that interest you? It's not a very exciting life, but, it's a pretty good one, and there's plenty of room on the lands to wander and plenty of resources. Also, I'm pretty sure that I would be an amazing Pad," he trailed off, laughing lightly at his own pressumed self confidence.

She listened closely as he spoke each word being taken into careful consideration. the thought of a large family was pleasing to her she enjoyed having other to care for and love around her she liked the thought of this large family he was describing. She was a good hunter and could manage to keep a family fed if she was going to go with him. Honestly she enjoyed hinting so that would be no problem.

He was so proud of the Idea he was taught is was honestly a bit adorable. She was glad to see someone who was so proud of his way's as well the almost reverent way that he seemed think of them. He was firm in his belief that it seemed good to almost draw her into his work even more.

She didn't see him being one of the males that he was talking about when he said there were some that shirked their duties. He was far to kind to her at this moment for him to be one of those males he was young but she could see that he would grow to be a sweet and kind adult male. She didn't really have much of a view point other than that. He was kind to her so far and that was really all that she knew it was nice actually, incredibly nice. The way he spoke about his family you almost feel the love for them as he spoke. It was a nice feeling. One she hadn't felt since she was back with her own family.

She smiled at him when he asked her if she was interested. Her blue eye's lighting up slightly. "I do find it interesting. It seems like a nice life in the least. I like the prospect of a big family and the way you live sounds fascinating." she laughed slightly at his last comment. He was certainly very refreshing. "I'm sure you will be."
