As the title says.. But I'm unsure as to whether or not I should.. You know. Post it in the guild or anything at all. It's a rather odd sort of storyline thing, and I came up with it like.. Long time ago. So like, what do you guys think? Are there things I should change? Or something? Anything. Is it so bad that it should be completely forgotten about and never even mentioned again?

---

"They call it “Cirque du Vie.” But in truth, it was quite the opposite. The bright, vibrant colours don’t last long once you enter. The invitations are lures, just snatching unsuspecting teens. You were invited, completely unaware of what was waiting for you within. Or, you are one of the Carnies themselves, intently awaiting on their arrival. Regular people go for the fun and games when it comes to town. However, when you’re invited, that’s not all you’re going to see. Chances are, you won't even make it out.

The Carnies live in the Circus. It’s their life, and possibly all they’ve ever known, or all they can remember. They wait for more teens to be invited, whether it’s for a feeding, to play with their minds, or even make them one of their own. No one really knows, and only time will tell. Because numbers build over time, there are many of them. The Ringmaster pretty much takes care of all the Carnies, and thinks of them as some sort of twisted family. To them, the Ringmaster’s word was pretty much law, and nearly all followed it without hesitation.

Six oblivious teens were invited to the Cirque du Mort. They may or may not know each other. They will go to the circus with absolutely no idea that more than just circus acts await them."

---

Then have a letter inviting the people and everything from the Ringmaster and stuff, but I just don't know. What do you guys think? Bad? Alright? Terrible?

...Why?

Sorry. I'm kind of incoherent right now. What I'm trying to say is, why is the carnival kidnapping teens? What do they want with them? How do they pick which ones they'll take - is there something specific that they look for? How do they decide which ones they'll do...whatever with?

Umm. Sounds like it has potential. But I'd like to know a little more.

I'm here to echo Silent's sentiments. How do the teens get chosen? What are their responsibilities? How are they prevented from running away?

Dark carnivale ideas are always interesting, but there needs to be more to it.

@XMissxNightxStarX; if I do end up making it, yeah! Thanks x3

@Silent; The carnival is kidnapping teens because, as I said in the.. Thinger, could be to just mess with them, feed on them ( say if your a vampire or something ) ( OR FEED THEM TO THE LIONS >;D ), or they feel the need to add more to their circus. Any kind of reason, really. Just.. Stuff like that. I mean, the Ringmaster wouldn't exactly allow Carnies to kill or feed on another one. Like I said, they're like a big family.

When it comes to the teens that get the invitations, there's not something they specifically look for. It would be more like a "hey, there's an odd one. Stalk them and put this letter in their mailbox." So there could be any sort of teen, really. But all of them are human, of course.

Deciding what they'll do whatever with, that depends on who's playing what Carnie. Say one was a douche bag to others, and a certain carnie was really temperamental. They might attempt attacking or killing or feeding on the invitee, make their life miserable, anything. Or say one, or the Ringmaster, what ever, takes some sort of liking to one of them. They may decide to make the liked one a carnie as well, either keeping them a human, turning them into.. Something with one of the other carnies, who knows. What ever. It really just all depends on who's in the roleplay and how they play the characters, you know?

I hope all that helped at least a little o.o

@Talon; xD As I told Silent, teens are pretty much almost chosen at random. And, responsibilities for the invitees or the carnies? o.o; The invitees don't really have responsibilities, but it would likely be best to watch your manners around things that could easily just.. Kill you. That's about all I can think of for them D: But the carnies, responsible for the invitees at some extent. They have to at least try to not let the invitees do incredibly stupid things, or attempt getting away. Wouldn't be too good if they tried. And, they're prevented from getting away by a spell-type thing the Ringmaster casts. I'll probably.. Eventually go into more detail about that if I actually do decide to.. Post the roleplay. Yeah. xD I hope this helped..

Ice, I don't feel like a roleplay like this without any underlying mission or story or something behind the kidnappings would survive for very long.

Think about it a little more. It's a good starting concept, but I think it requires a little bit more thought.
