I just found out today that there was a meeting for this group that I am in called Evening of the Stars at school. It is a sing and dance group that I kinda joined at the last second. I have missed the first two meeting and havnt been at any and now THIS! I am seriously wondering weather or not to drop out. I could NEVER face Justin (the guy who is directing it and a fellow friend) and tell him that. I want to do this because my friends are in it and they really thought I would love it and encouraged me to join. My parents were out all day and this meeting for E.O.T was last second. There is a group for it on Facebook and I just logged on at 5:30 pm, and it was posted 8 hours ago. I dont spend my life on the computer and none of my friends text me anything.
Life sucks sometimes!!!! HELP!?

Just find someone you are comfortable talking to and ask. If you feel like you don't want to do it then drop out.

If its not something you want to do then your friends will understand. If you are interested, stick with it! Don't let a little bad luck turn you off from what could be a great experience. Good luck with your clubby club C:

If you're still interested in the club, then stick with it. There's nothing you can do about today's meeting, but maybe you could ask Justin to tell people about the meetings ahead of time.

If you really want to do this, then stay in the club. If you're interested, but are unable to do it for some reason, there's no reason to be embarrassed. Some of my friends are trying to get me to play Perfect World International (an MMORPG) but I can't because once school starts up (next Monday), I'm not going to have a lot of time to myself because I also work on the weekends. I told them that, and they still joke around with me about joining, but they know that I won't do it.

Don't do something just to be with your friends, it will never end well. If you honestly want to be in the group, and enjoy the things they do, then persist and have fun. If it's something you wanted to join only yo be closer to friends, there are better ways of being active with the people you enjoy being around. Which is what they are in my opinion, if they are not informing you. But then again, perhaps they have given up on you due to your lack of participation and what seems to be a lack of interest.
You really need to find someone to talk to. If the director is a friend of yours, talk to him. He will understand what is going on, or he will at least try to. He may not know the problems you are having with trying to make meetings and such, perhaps no one does. Let them know you aren't purposely ignoring them. Someone will aid you, if they indeed are your friends.
You have stated you have a problem, now seek help from the people who obviously want you there with them. Be patient, persist, and things will settle into place.

Life sucks sometimes!!!! HELP!? It doesn't sound like your around very much nor do you try to be. There's nothing wrong with not doing something you don't want to do, but if you join something with them, you might as well try it. Or, if you feel really strongly about not doing it then tell them that you're not interested, don't just not show up and expect them to care. If they don't include you, it's probably because you don't sound interested at all. If you want to be a part of it, then BE a part of it, and if you don't then don't be upset when they don't include you in it.

I would just drop out because those shoes you are wearing aren't really good for dancing. You could alternatively buy some new shoes.
I am really out of my element though, as cows don't dance. I am a good chewer though. moo

Thanks for all your help guys. I did decide to quit and the director was fine with it. He let me help scoop ice cream opening night and it was really fun to watch. Again thanks to all those who helped or even just read this.
