 Zangar wasn't sure exactly where he was - and truth be told he didn't much care either, it wasn't like the young stallion had anyplace he had to be or anyone waiting for him either - his was a wanderers heart, or at least thats what his mother had told him from an early age. Apparently he had inherited this from his grandfather though he had never met him and Zangar thought this was likely quite plausible as his mother had a more tamed down version of the same thing.
Unlike his mother however Zanger was not tied down by other things in life and being young had set out to explore as much of the world as he could before eventually settling down t raise a family of his own...maybe. Maybe he'd just stay a bachelor his entire life...really that option was far more appealing at the moment then anything else - though he doubted his mother and father would be pleased with this decision of him.
But what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them and as Zangar had no intention's of heding back home anytime soon then this worry was really kind of moot. Pushing it to the back of his mind the stallion whistled a jaunty tune as he made his way through the woods.

 Cutting through a swath of trees Tairyn found herself bobbing her head to some unknown song in her mind. Her short hair waved about wildly as she did so. Every now and then she would toss her head or kick out. Other than that today was so far quite boring. There hadn't been a single other soul out here so far and where was the fun in being alone. Perhaps if she made her way out into the open there may be someone to hang out with...preferably someone handsome, and perhaps a little dangerous. A soft whistling broke thought these thoughts and she stopped mid-step. Listening closely Tairyn was fairly certain that it was a male who was whistling. How she knew was anyone's guess but she was certain of it. With a happy toss of her head Tairyn headed towards the whistle.
When he first came into view amongst the trees Tairyn let her eyes roam approvingly over his body. Interesting colors, strange bumps on his shoulder. A chain around his tail, that intrigued her. But most of all it was the cloth wrapped around his head. It gave him an air of mystery. Well what was she standing here for! Time to go say hello! Prancing over to where the stallion was Tairyn fell into step beside him, her body practically touching his. The idea of personal space was lost to Tairyn, especially when around stallions. "Well hello there hunk." She said while looking over at him. "How lucky of me to run into you today." Please be a bad boy, she thought, though even a good boy would do at this point. She just wanted attention and the chance to flirt.

Zangar was startled by the mare's sudden appearance beside him and he snorted slightly, whistled tune cut off in mid song while he turned to have a look at her, peering at her from beneath the folds of his scarf. His first thought when he took in her bright rainbow pelt was 'how in the world did I miss that coming towards me' Of course any such comment on his part was waylaid by the mares opening line.
She thought he was hunk..well that just proved that despite her rather wild looks she had good taste. Zangar was good looking - he knew it and he certainly wasn't going to complain bout a mare wanting to be close to him - even though his father would likely throw a fit about it all..and then he'd have to hear that lecture about how his fathers wayward past had caused so much trouble for him blah blah blah..it was dull really. And his father wasn't around.
Giving the mare what he considered Suave look "Luck? Women you haven't known real luck until you met me" He told her in confident voice

Lowering her head a bit Tairyn tried to get a look under that cloth, she wanted to see his eyes, get a better look at her face. It was all for not as the cloth hide it all too well, but that made it fun, since she couldn't fully see his face she could only guess at what he looked like underneath. Maybe it hid some scars that he got from a fight. Though that begged the question of why he would cover them up if that were true, because as far as she was concerned scars were sexy. Perhaps she could get a peek under the sloth later, for now she concentrated on the parts of him that she could see.
Her eyebrows raised in amusement at his words and tone. Oh, yes, she was lucky. Stepping a bit closer to him now, so that their sides touched, Tairyn smiled at him. "Well, then I shall thank the stars I got so lucky." Taking in a deep breath Tairyn took in his manly scent, not as strong as some stallions she met, but still alluring nonetheless. "So am I lucky enough to learn your name? Or do I have to work for that?" She reached out, nipping at the cloth handing from his head, her cheek brushing his neck as she did so. His body was warm and the fur pleasantly soft. Hopefully he wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere because Tairyn was not willing to let him go so quickly, not until she had her fun at least, when she lost interest then he could leave.

Zangar watched as the mare attempted to get a look beneth his hood, he knew from past experiences that she wouldn't be able to see much of anything but shadows, he on the other hand could see her quite well. It amused him somewhat to have such an upper hand in such things and when she nipped at the cloth a few moments later - despite the distraction of having her press up against him - he was able to nimbly keep her from unraveling the scarf with a playful twist of his head.
The feel of her scales was a bit unusual to Zangar...and made him realize that he had never spent time with a Kirin before, it was not an unpleasant sensation however and he curiously ran his muzzle along the scale on her neck. Perhaps he thought to himself - this was much the same type of curiosity mares felt when encountering his own unusual traits which he had inherited from his father. "I am Zangar" He told the mare in a warm tone "I'd ask for your name but I fear it may fall short of adequetly expressing your beauty" He continued on - oh yes..that was smooth, well done Zangar! Well done! The stallion mentally patted himself on the back.

Oh but he was the sneaky one deftly moving his head just as she tried to pull his scarf off. Yet he remained against her. Clearly she wasn't the first, not likely the last, to try to remove that scarf on him. Now more than ever she wanted to see what lay beneath the cloth. Perhaps some hideous scar that had some grand tale attached to it. A frown crossed her lips for but a second as she, for the moment, gave up on the scarf. She would wait a bit until his guard was down and then the cloth would be her target once more. His muzzle rubbing against her neck scales distracted her for a moment that she lost track of what she was about to say. Flirting was something she did quite often, yet not all stallions were as receptive to it as others. This Zangar fellow certainly seemed to be accepting of it.
Speaking of which, his name, it was interesting. "Zangar." She said it, allowing it to roll off the tongue. Yes, it had a good feel about it when saying his name. Flowed nicely. And then, he flirted back. She had heard similar flirts before but that didn't mean she would act like she had, plus honestly, Tairyn loved it when stallions flirted back. Even cheesy pick up lines worked for her most days. "Well, with words like that I'm surprised that you don't have an entire flock of mares circling around you for attention." She glanced jokingly around as if looking for his faithful followers before swinging her gaze back to him. She could have probably kept her name a secret for a bit longer, but she wanted him to know, wanted to hear him say her name. "Tairyn Ezbra."

Zangar bit back the amused look that threatened to overtake his face at the mares comment, instead he flicked and ear and arched his neck slightly in mock pride "Ah yes..my loyal followers..when I saw you dashing across the field in such a manner I gave them the slip so that I could speak with you without making them jealous" He stated continuing on with the joke she had started.
IT was not often that he ran across a mare so willing to have a bit of innocent fun, half of the mares he teased or bantered with in such a manner either turned so bashfully shy that it was impossible to keep going or got offended..which was silly, you'd think giving out a few compliments would be willingly received. I mean it wasn't like he went about telling mares they were ugly and unattractive. They ought to thank him for making the time to make them feel good.
"Tairyn Ezbra" He repeated letting the name roll off his tongue like a uniquely flavored bit of clover. "And interesting title" He stated and then looking her up and down gave a slight chuckle "To match an equally interesting mare to be sure" Surely after seeing her her parents had realized that one so wildly marked needed such a unique moniker.

A broad smile crossed her lips. It was good to be with someone who not only knew how to receive a joke, but who could also continue it on for their entertainment. There were a lot of serious stallions out there that thought joking was foals play and balked at the idea of such things coming from adults. But Zangar, he was not one of them, he clearly saw the benefit and fun to such activities. Made her want to stick around him for a bit longer. But like most stallions she met Tairyn would likely grow tired with him relatively quickly and then move on to someone bigger and badder. For now though she stuck with him. "Well..." She cast a glance around once more. "I think your flock of loyal followers will be very disappointed later when they realize that you have been whisked away." Then she began to press against him harder, steering him away from the area.
Hearing him say her name brought a shiver down her spine. Oh yes, he said it perfectly. As she continued to jokingly push him away for his 'loyal followers' she nuzzled into his neck taking in his warmth and soft fur once more. She nipped playfully at his shoulder. "Zangar, you haven't seen interesting yet." She may look interesting, and she may have a fairly interesting sounding name, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. And Tairyn was willing to show this stallion just how interesting it was to have her around.

Zangar didn't see the harm in letting this colorful mare urge him away from the area. It wasn't like he had someplace he had to be - that was, he reflected, the joy of a wandering lifestyle. "Likely so" He agreed with a quirk of his lips "It's possible some will simply hurl themselves off the closest cliff in despair" He added in a solemn tone, as though somewhat saddened by this thought, adding a hint of woe as he continued on "But how could I possibly fight the irresistible nature of someone like you?"
As she nipped at his shoulder and proclaimed that he didn't know what interesting was Zangar considered regaling her with stories of his own past adventures..but stopped himself. It would be more fun he supposed to let this mare attempt to show him just how interesting she could be "Oh? And what adventures do you have in mind to introduce me to your interesting nature? Surely there is something around here worth trying" He commented, turning his head this way and that as though an adventure might reveal itself out of thin air.

Tairyn smirked. "Well if they are silly enough to toss themselves off of a cliff just because I stole you away for a while then it's probably for the best. You don't want followers like that." Imagine, if she had a following of stallions, well that would be downright amazing, but if any of them were unstable enough to kill themselves just because she was absent for a few hours then she wouldn't want them around anyways. Besides the type she was normally drawn to would never do such a thing, instead they would either go on without her being satisfied that she eventually returned or come looking for her to bring her back. She bumped into his side again, playfully, once again steering him in a certain direction. He wasn't as big of a challenge to get something out of him as some other stallions were but for now she was satisfied to be with him.
"If I told you what we were going to do then it wouldn't be much of an adventure or a surprise now would it." Why spoil the fun, besides, like most of her life Tairyn never really had any set plans in mind, most of what she did was on a whim and today was no different. When they broke through the trees and came to a large grassy opening she smacked his backside with her tail and then took off at a gallop. "Let's go then!" She wasn't worried about what they would do when the running came to an end, she would improvise or simply continue to lead him on until the game lost it's fun. Wind whipped her short mane back and the rainbow painted mare let out a whoop of excitement as she run fast and hard.

Zangar chuckled slightly as the mare commented on the actions of his supposed followers "Well it is fortunate then that I have you at my side for the moments, surly the sacrifice of twenty foolish creatures it worth just one of you" He stated in a smooth voice as they headed through the tree's. He wasn't bothered very much that she refused to tell him what they were going to do or where they were going - to be honest Zangar didn't care about such things...it was enough to simply have fun in the moment, wasn't that what his traveling carefree life was all about in the end anyways?
He laughed in surprise as the mare suddenly took off across the meadow and plunged forward himself, digging into the soft grass with his hooves as he strove to keep up with her wild dash. She painted a rather pretty picture with her rainbow colors as she raced across the meadow and she was quick too..Zangar found himself straining to keep up with her, but that was fine with him..honestly the view from behind was good enough to keep him happy. The mental thought made his chuckle slightly to himself.

His initial laugh made her glance over her shoulder. There he was, his sexy big frame coming up behind her. But she had speed on her side and was able to keep ahead of him. Or perhaps he was just letting her win. They weren't racing, hell even if they were she wasn't even sure where they were headed. They were just having fun, racing the wind, enjoying the sun. Of course her hopes that the speed would unravel his scarf were dashed. Seemed he knew how to keep that thing in place no matter what. But she would see his face and those hidden eyes at some point. And if it wasn't today, then it would be in the future, for that mystery would keep her coming back until she knew what he truly looked like underneath it.
She ran for quite some time, with Zangar not far behind. When they came upon a small pond Tairyn didn't even hesitate, she ran headlong into the water, splashing it high. Here they would swim and have fun for quite some time. And as the sun set they found a quiet place to lay down for the night, Tairyn glanced at Zangar one final time before closing her eyes, wondering if he would still be there when she woke in the morning.
