Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Shina walked into the stadium and looked around. Well, this was pleasant. A nice open field was a nice change from the last few fields she had battled in. "Tenka, time to come out and play!" Shina called, releasing the squirrel into the arena.

Zephrayne walked head held high towards the battle field and found her mark. She stared across the field, eyeing her competition. 'We got this Moncho,' she thought to herself. She tossed the pokeball up in the air, calling him out. "Let's show 'em what we got Moncho."
"Bulba!" he trilled, smiling at his trainer. He turned and waddled to his place on the field and waited for her commands. He was ready to get it on!

Zephrayne had to cover her own eyes. She blinked as the white light spots began to fade from her vision. "Alright Moncho, let's start with razor leaf!"
Moncho blinked away the brightness, and shouted "Saur!!" He let loose a spray of sharp edged leaves flying in the direction of the emolga.

Shina winced at the truly prolific spray of leaves. That must have hurt. "Tenka, try Air Slash," she ordered. Tenka gained a bit of height, then dove down towards the Bulbasaur.

Moncho ducked just in time to evade the air slash. Zephrayne saw a chance for him to take advantage of the closeness of the other pokemon. "Use vine whip!"
He whipped his vines out, slapping wildly at the squirrely pokemon.

Tenka squeaked as he was swatted. He didn't like that! Why had the other pokemon dodged? Tenka tried another Air Slash.

This time he didn't duck in time and was hit full blast, knocking him over.
"Ouch! That looked like it hurt. C'mon Monch, shake it off and get back in there buddy. Show 'em what you're made of!"
Moncho was reeling from that last hit, but he pushed himself up and readied for a counter. "Use poison powder!"
"Bulba!" he called out, as he released a colorful dusting of a powdery substance into the air.

Moncho was ready this time. He let another blast of powder go as the opponent got close with it's air slash, taking the hit as it came.
"Bulba-saur!" he exclaimed, fighting through the pain of the emolga's attack.
