Sayoko had been dreaming about a meadow full of other mares and stallions, all of various unique patterns and colors. Many of the the patterns she had never seen before, the patterns seemed to glow before her eyes as the day light turned to darkness. The dream only became more weird as timed pass because the others ignored her no matter what she did to try and attract attention to herself. She would run in front of them and act like she was going to charge them, she tried to scream at them and tried various other ways but nothing worked. Tears began to form in her eyes as she began to feel lonely and heart broken because she had no idea why they were ignoring her and then when she looked down at herself she realized why, she was invisible. A scream tore free from her throat as fear gripped her heart, she had no idea what was going on, who were these other horses and what was wrong with her!
Her eyes flew open, real tears were coming from her eyes, the feeling of sorrow and loneliness was still aching inside her heart. A wet nose was rubbing against her and she blinked to clear her vision to see what could possibly be against her. It was her best friend since she left her parents and was venturing the world on her own. "I'm sorry Akira, did I wake you up?" She tried to sound sincere and act like the dream really didn't eat at her but inside she was really torn up. The bear nodded but seemed to shrug it off like it was no big deal and continued to nuzzle against her before cuddling against her. "It was horrible, I was in a crowded field but no one would pay attention to me because I was invisible." She closed her eyes as she spoke the words, she tried to envision a different dream, a different world but the odd mares and stallions and the feelings just wouldn't leave her alone.
Before she could speak another word, she felt Akira leave her side and her frowned deepened. "Akira?" She asked the question without speaking the words, she didn't want Akira to leave her. Akira shook his head at her and motioned his head towards the area in front of him begging her to follow him. Sayoko smiled shyly and got up to follow after her companion, the little bear led her out to the water source that was the lake. She walked slowly over to the water and peered into it. Her long black braid fell around her as she leaned farther over the edge of the grass and dirt to look farther in hoping to see something new but nothing new greeted her. It was her own reflection and it was starting to make her sick because her mind was working over time making her think more negative thoughts. She tore her eyes away from the water and looked back at her little friend. She laid down in the grass and rested her head on the bear's side as it laid beneath her head.

He had wandered off again, a bag full of books around his neck as he sauntered towards the shaded tree near the creek. It was his favorite reading spot, and he was going to indulge himself for hours today. Merrily his bells jingled a slight tune to his steady pace, though his mind was elsewhere on the books he'd be reading, he made an interesting song with his hoof beats and jingling.
Coming to his normal spot, he pulled out a blanket from under the tree, and spread it out to lay down on, not wanting to deal with flees and ticks and the hard ground when he read. Taking off his satchel of books, Keary gave a cursory glance around him to be sure he was indeed alone. Finding his reading spot undisturbed, he flopped down and pulled a rather torn up looking leather bound one from his pack, and lipped it open, then nestled it against his hooves and began reading the words. Two-leggers were curious creatures, and entertaining in things that they wrote down, but what he'd been finding were books written by other soquili, those from lands far away from the Kawani's area. These were what interested him most.
Today's book was one about the adventures of a soquili in a land where mystical dragons spoke, and moved around the water ways, protecting the soquili that would cross the water, Keary felt it was a little silly, but perhaps it was something that could be...achieved. His logic was kicking in while he read the words, his purple eye narrowed at the page, while his green one was wide, a look of contemplation on his interested face.

A little while later, her eyes fluttered open and she realized that she had fallen asleep on Akira. "I'm sorry my friend, I had not meant to fall asleep on you." She apologized quickly but moved her head slowly away from her furry friend, she was a little stiff from having laid so still for so long. Her body ached a little as she forced it to move, her muscles stretching again as she meandered back to the water to ease her dry mouth. The black and purple bear made a gruff growling noise as it bounded up beside her and began to drink as well. It seemed that the little bear had been afraid to move, afraid to wake her perhaps? Or maybe even possibly it was just her over thinking things. Yoko smiled down at her companion and then continued to drink from the blue water, it was a refreshing drink since the weather was so cool. It was a nice and breezy day, the wind wasn't so strong but it wasn't that light either, it seemed to whip through the open area just right.
Once the mare finished up at the water, she looked around the area and began to think about what they could do today to pass the time. Akira began to roll around and run in the grass like there was an imaginary ball or some other mysterious object that was oodles of fun. It got her attention and she wished she could join in on the fun, but she didn't have the imagination like the little bear did, the bear seemed to read her mind though because he bounded over to her and rolled between her legs. He seemed to want to bring the fun to her, she figured he was chasing after some poor critter maybe that he figured he could imagine eating in his mind. She began to laugh at herself because maybe she did in fact have an imagination after all.
"Akira what say we have an adventure! We can go where no horse and bear have dare traveled before!" She grinned at the bear as she lowered her head and peered between her legs. The bear seemed to growl in agreement as he rolled back towards her and knocked into her head. She raised it quickly and shook it as if that could ease the pain, she wasn't mad though because laughter spilled from her mouth. They were truly quite a pair and she knew that the adventure possibly couldn't be boring. "Lets get started!" She spoke in a voice that she didn't know she had, she liked the feeling that was welling up inside her though, it felt like excitement and happiness all rolled into one.

He wasn't too interested in anything possibly going on around him, and mostly kept his nose buried in his book. It was surprising how much he could ignore, but then he had his mother and his aunt who would chat loudly around him at all hours, so keeping that off his mind was a good deal.
He glanced up, not really looking, his eyes deep in thought as he progressed through the small scenario that had played out in the pages he was reading. Smirking his nose twitched, and he went back to the pages, shaking his head momentarily to get his bangs out of his eye. Silently he continued on reading, oblivious to all going on around him. It was a good day for him to do this sort of thing. At least that's how it seemed to be turning out.

The duo found themselves running a race and the finish line was a place unknown. The unknown aspect of it all seemed to be the most thrilling part of the race for both the little bear and the somewhat childish mare. A huge smile was plastered across Sayoko's face, her hooves thundered against the ground as her breath rushed in and out of her body to try and keep up with her. The little bear Akira seemed to be in the same fate, he was breathing heavily but he wasn't slowing down a bit. He was right at her legs trying to n** and claw at them to slow her down but careful not to trip himself up and fall behind. His paws almost became entangled so he figured that he should leave her alone. Akira and Sayoko found themselves racing into an area that held a creek and was surrounded by more trees. Akira began to whine seeing the creek, he was so thirsty after running for so long and so fast, his energy was drained. Sayoko grinned down at him and nodded towards the creek, she was oblivious to the other being in the shade of the trees. Her hooves continue to pound against the ground as she sped up and raced with all she had towards the creek. The little bear wasn’t going to best her today, no matter how thirsty or tired she may be, it was winner or nothing. Once she reached the creek, she didn’t stop, she raced right through it and then once she was on the other side she forced herself to stop. Her head turned with a victorious smile on her face, her eyes smiling and her body hot. Sayoko stomped the ground, a silent but deadly message to the bear that he would never beat her again, it was her race. The bear growled at her as he stopped at the creeks edge and plopped down, panting, he leaned his head over the edge to get a drink. Sayoko giggled to herself because she knew that the little bear would be so tuckered out that he would want to ride her back home. She trotted over to the water and lowered her head with a heavy sigh, she had finally beaten her companion, and it was a glorious day. Her black hair had fallen off of her back as she lowered her head to get her some water. Her eyes were closed and her mind was thinking of nothing but the feel of the win and the feel of the cool water sliding down her throat. Once she had her fill of the water from the creek, she shook her head to shake it free of the water droplets. Her soft green eyes opened and she decided to scan the area, it was the first actual look she had of the place since she arrived. Sayoko had been so absorbed in herself she had forgot to check and see if there had been others around and if she had been disturbing anyone. Her eyes landed on a rather odd shadow among the trees feet away from the creek, she decided to walk over. “Hello?” She decided it was best to call out before she got to close. Rinial Sisterdragon Don't feel like you have to respond right away <3
