Hellfyre woke up the next day and after telling Ion where he was going he went to find Gabby. He nudged her awake. "It's time to go, the dawn approaches." If they wanted to make good time, they had to be off soon. The sun would soon rise and it would get very warm.
"Come along Gabby," he grinned.

Gabrielle lifts her head with her eyes half open, giving Hellfyre a sleepy look. She briefly wondered why he was waking her till everything came back to her. Her eyes opens up and she stands up with a smile.

Hellfyre looked at her with warm eyes, he personally liked that sleepy eyed look she had. "You didn't sleep in, I had to go tell Ion about us going so when Prism comes back he doesn't demand to know where his babysitter went." Hell nuzzled her face again. She was so quiet and gentle....so unlike Prism it was almost laughable.
Hellfyre started walking away. "We will have to skirt the lake a bit, but at least it has pretty scenery. Then I believe we have a few feilds and then foot hills, bigger hills and the mountains. I think we will travel for a while today and then have breakfast and rest then continue."

.:: Gabrielle ::. A gust of wind blows Gabrielle's mane into her eyes as she started to walk with Hellfyre. She shakes her head to move her hair out of her eyes. She lissens to his plan and smiles warmly.
" Sounds like a good plan. Do you happen to know where any good berry patches are to stop at? " She says softly yet able to carry to his ears.
She has a small weakness for berries since she was adopted. They are like chocolate to a human. She blushed alittle at showing her fondness for berries. Gabrielle Journal Link

"Um actually no I don't, I'm sure there will be. I haven't been over this way before so we will have to check it out as we go I guess." He mused as they exited the herd boundaries and walked beside the lack. He jumped over the occasional sink hole or mud patch. By stroke of luck he managed not to slip and smear his face in the rich, thick, brown mud. Thank Soltos for small miracles.
"Watch these spots here Gabby, you might want to fly over them."

.:: Gabrielle ::. Gabrielle watches the land gradually change as they continued on there journey towards the mountains. Trees, plants, animals and even the very ground started to change. Now there was little in the way of trees or plants. few if any animals except birds could be seen. She saw how Hellfyre started to slip around in the mud. She nods and leaps into the air flying behind Hellfyre and pushes him through the muddy area gently.
" Whew. This mud is dangerous. I wonder if it just rained over here. There is not even many animals which kinda creeps me out. "Gabrielle Journal Link

"EEEEEEEeeeeeee!" Hellfyre squealed with delight as he was propelled through the muddy areas. "Its because we are on the far side of the lake. It is more swampy over here. There should be more animals coming up, herons and harp toads and such." Hellfyre got one of his forefeet stuck in the mud and almost did a faceplant before he could remove the offending hoof. "I'm never gonna get all this mud off of my legs." He wailed and flicked his tail.
The mud soon left though in favor of springy mossy ground which the grounded stallion enjoyed immensely. A few birds flew over head as well. Although Hellfyre knew that soon Gabby's prediction would come true and the wildlife would diminish into a few grass snakes and not much else.

.:: Gabrielle ::. Gabrielle smiles as she heard Hellfyre enjoying the skiing lesson. She thought it would be fun to come back out here and do it again sometime but had to still be gentle going thorough here. She did not want him to fall or hurt himself by doing this. She did take note of a few scarce animals around but figured that they needed food before sunset.
" I am sorry that the mud is all over you but you have to admit that was a rather fun and enjoyable way to get over this terrain. Not to mention that there should be a lake or stream near by to cause this to the land. "Gabrielle Journal Link

"Sometimes Sandar Lake gets tempermental and does this to her shores. Its sticky and wet and yet we all must live with it. This was much more fun then simply walking through it though, Thank you."
The very moment they found a clear running stream, Hellfyre hopped into it and started thrashing around to clean himself off. He lifted a leg and inspected a sock. "Hmm clean and white!" he said with satisfaction. He splashed the mare with his nose, then hopped out and shook like a dog. "Ahhh," he said with relief. "Much better, don't you agree there Gabby? Much more handsome."

.:: Gabrielle ::. Gabrielle smiles and nods her head. She started to think of needing a bath as well because though she was a bit higher she still got mud on her from pushing Hellfyre. How does that happen anyways. She muses for a moment before a splash hits her. As she was about to demand what that was for, her eyes darts to him and suddenly she could not breath due to her amazement at how this stallion looked now posing for her. She shakes her head hoping that her mouth did not drop open giving her away.
" Very Handsome indeed. " She says in a huskey voice making her blush.Before he could respond she dived into the lake and cleaned up herself wishing to get the mud off her too. Gabrielle Journal Link

Hellfire waited for the mare to rise, flicked his tail and strutted for her. Not unlike a big black peacock actually. He he had a tail he would have fanned it. While he had her were he wanted her he dunked her head in. "What?" he asked innocently, smiling at her. "You had mud in your hair, I swear."

Hellfyre shook his head. "Na'ah, princess, your gonna douse me if I come anywhere near you." He sniggered. "Beside you are clean," He grinned. He ran back aways turned around and flew into the water. It made a huge spalsh and flattened his hair down. Now it was dripping onto his face.

.:: Gabrielle ::. Gabrielle's eyes held some shock at calling her princess. She shakes her head at his new 'nickname' for her. She knew better than to say something about it. He would only come up with something worse. She watched him as he ran away then suddenly at full charge leapt into the water causing a huge wave to hit. She shakes the water and her wet bangs out of her face before looking at him.After causing her own splash at him she wades over to him and kisses him for a brief moment. She stayed close enough that there breaths mingled together.

Hellfyre blinked.... splash girl get kiss, splash Prism get pummeled. There were perks here he could tell. "For what? What did I do?" he asked, completely confused.
He walked out of the water with a stupified look on his face. He could still feel where she had kissed him. He blinked again. "Uh thank you?"
