Why did it persist on staring at her? Was she funny looking or quite the opposite? Sheria was starting to think this bird had a strange attraction to her. Eyes focused on the branch swaying lightly above her, the bird sat upon it continued to train it's tiny beady eyes on her. It had been like that for just about an hour now and god knows why she had also been frozen in it's stare. Compelled to stay still under watchful eyes. It was a showdown, it had to be. If she didn't make the first move then that would! The consequences could be horrorfying... A predicament indeed. 'Hmm...' She thought, raising one leg slowly so her knee was bent, watching as it's beak raised with it. She stopped like that for a few seconds then slammed her hoof down to pork at the dirt below, tail swishing and head thrown back to let out a whinney. Such differing actions from that of wolf herritage; mother would be so proud - NOT! The blue jay cooed to her dismay at the display she had given and puffed out it's chest, flaring out it's petite wings and gave them a rythmic flap before placing back at it's sides and fluffing out. "Pfffffft! That's all? After all this time, I get a noise and a flap? Oh that's it, I'm losing my marbles, that's all there is to it." She shook her head and sighed turning to walk out to the glorious green pastures of the plains. Here the breeze brought more satisfaction as it brushed her coat and combed her hair like gentle fingers. Her days of freedom were almost coming to an end, it wouldn't be long before the Imp named Rosabis came to collect her from her home. At least now she was older and the packs teachings had reduced to something rather manageable, than as overwhelming as they were she could take time away to enjoy what the rest of the world had to offer. Chiiiiirp. "ARGGHHH NOW YOU'RE FOLLOWING ME!? Why me." Sheria pulled a face, jaw dropping. It was just going to be one of those days, she knew it.

After trekking through most of the forest and a little of the lower mountains, the mare found herself tired. This didn't stop her from continuing her travels on the lower plains of the Kawani lands though. She usually only rested at night when things were much harder to see and it was more difficult to keep safe. Right now she was in the predicament of whether or not she should rest for a little or keep moving. It wasn't that dark or that early, but still she was tired from all that trekking around. Was she out of shape that much?
Giggling at her own foolish thoughts, she continued to wander feeling the cool air hit her body and the silence surround her a bit. She was new to around here, but every land was the same unless she traveled to a dessert. But here it was nice and quiet, mostly grassland or rocky terrain. It wasn't something that was too hard for her to tackle let along trek across. She knew what she was doing even if others thought otherwise. Perking her ears up, she looked around after hearing what appeared to be talking making her smile just a tiny bit. Someone else was around here? She loved meeting others and when the opportunity arose she quickly grabbed it so she followed the sound until it led her to a mare. A mare with fur?
"Hello"
She called out to her being as friendly as she possibly could. She wasn't going to let the chance of a possible friendship get away from her. Not this time.

Sheria hung her head, the bird landing on her shoulder. Oh it was just doing it's best to push her over the edge, wasn't it? "Your not supposed to like me, I'm a Scary wolf, horse... Rawr?" The last part came out more like a helpless squeak than it did threatening, leaving the replying sound the only thing it could resemble. A laughter. Sheria's eyebrows knitted together in the middle, eyes sliding to the side to the bird, mouth moved to one side in to a sloppy pout. She wasn't cut out for the high expectations weighed upon her.
That's when a friendly sounding hello filled the air out of nowhere, causing the fluffy mares head to raise swiftly, switching to either side to spot the noise. She paused a moment, turning her head further to glance in to the distance behind her. Well throw her a damn bone, there was a mare standing there! What luck, this was definitely an interesting twist to her day. She had company, very pretty company at that! The big plus to it, she didn't have a beak or wings to flap at her in amusement.
"Ahh well hello there!" She shouted back to her enthusiastically, turning around quickly to land in to a trot towards the mare in greeting. Her hair whipped carefully around her face and neck however it's full potential was thrown out by the braid. Stopping short of the mare, her hazel eyes blinked as she studied her from head to toe. She had a pointy thing sticking out of her head and a long, lion like tail. Of course, she knew what she was; a uni, she had just never seen one for real before. Like many other things. She liked the look she had.
A more than happy smile collected on Sheria's lips as she then turned her attention to the others own eyes. "I wasn't expecting anyone to be around here. Quite lucky actually, this damn bird here is driving me nuts. Some shared sanity might bring some peace of mind." She laughed lightly, shooting a look at the bird quickly who was still as merry as ever. Sheria was more caught on the fact it had managed to cling on through the bolt to greet the new stranger. She looked back at her. "Names Sheria! I have to say, I do love your horn.." She smiled, switching a look to her tail. "Your tail too, very cute. So who might you be?"

The patched female eyed the other mare some more never thinking she would see fur on another Soquili before. It was just something that wasn't very common or so she assumed. Maybe she was a new breed or something?
"Thank you. Your quite lovely yourself. I love your feral look...please don't take that the wrong way. I never saw a female with fur, but then again I'm rather new to these lands. The weather here is very different from what I'm use to as well as the nature surrounding the place."
She told her as she began to slowly walk past her not being able to stay in an area for too long. It bored her and more then that she wanted to go on more adventures. She didn't just want to stand there talking.
"Do you mind walking and talking? Sorry I don't like staying in one place for long..Oh and I'm Aellai. How about you? What is your name?"
She smiled as she continued to walk away from her hoping she would follow. She didn't like just leaving people behind. Not like she did with her best friend. She still regretted that decision.
"Do you like traveling or are you more keen on staying in one place? I love to travel and see different things. It's exciting and seeing other species is definitely worth it all. Though I have to ask you..are you part wolf or something?"
She asked curiously eyeing the fur on the female's back that led to a tail that looked like fur as well, but it was hair.

Sheria nodded at the female, she did have a feral look. Her coat was rather shaggy than neatly planned out like the other members of her pack. She wasn't full wolf and yet she still had fur. It was a strange concept to her appearance considering she would much more enjoy having the obvious look of a wolf. Sighing, her eyes wandered a long with the mare once she spotted movement heading in a particular direction. Was she not planning to stay?
"H-hey wait up." She blinked, glimpsing at the forest before heading on after her. She shook her head, that made more sense. Why stand and talk when there was more to be doing? This was definitely better. She wondered if the mare also liked to run since she hadn't had a nice stretch of her legs today and it was routine to add that in to her day. Multiple times if she could get away from the pack long enough. Even if she was old enough to take care of herself now, they still peristed on her not wandering too far for too long.
"No, I don't mind at all, I quite enjoy a nice walk. Running is also a great way to get about." She beamed, tail flicking side to side as she walked. "Nice to meet you Aellai-" She had just told Aellai her name but she was sure to repeat it, she didn't seem to catch it in her voiced excitement at the sight of company. So once more, she pronounced clearly. "I'm Sheria. Shez, if it's easier." She chuckled. "So where did you come from if you're not used to these parts? Can't say I've been many places myself but I'm all ears for travelers and stories of adventure." It made her planned out life a bit more bareable, giving her hope that she may see those sights for herself one day.
Afterall, there was a possibility things could change...
"Yes, my mother you could say is a horse in wolf's clothing she looks so much alike them however my father is as regular as they come. So you can imagine the variety of appearances within our pack. Other than my brother moonshine having no resemblence of a wolf other than mothers markings, I have the least wolf-ish appearance of the lot." That was a mouthful, she had to pause to gether her breath again. "I would love to travel, if I could." She smiled, looking at the grass as their hooves tread through it.
