⋆ Orientation :: Heterosexual
⋆ District :: District One
⋆ Personality ::
•Sly | Being sly and being manipulative sort of go hand in hand with Troen. He is, on a regular basis, a bit of a smartass. Having a hidden meaning behind his smile or smirk. Saying he knows something you dont. Or that he shouldn't. Which is often the case. When he doesn't get what he wants, he doesn't whine or complain about it. He doesn't really seem to care much at first. Instead he will wait a bit and start to twist things. Use the persons words against them. Find loopholes. Though he doesn't always stoop this low, he has at times resorted to blackmailing or even framing. But that isn't often. The one person he rarely, if ever, cons or cheats is his mother. She's smart enough not to fall for it. So he hasn't and won't try.
•Blunt | Opinions are one of the things Troen cares about the least. Unless it is his own or impacts it. He does take note of others', but hardly ever acknowledges them. If someone asks for his thoughts or opinion, he will give it to them. Straight out clear as day. And leave them to deal with it how they want. He uses it with a 'I really don't care how you take it, I'm still going to say it' Attitude and sticks to it. People ask what he thinks, he tells them. If they don't like it, sucks for them.
•Bull headed | Stubborn is too gentle of a word really. And too vague. Troen's stubbornness isn't so much as driven by pride as it is by wanting to make a point. His point. Leave an impression on someone. Not as the kid they won a fight over. But the guy that conned or suckered them into loosing. So what if he makes himself seem like a jerk. He doesn't care. He just wants people to remember him, whether in a good way or bad. In his perspective, the devil's son or demon's child is one of the best ways.
⋆ Strengths ::
•Martial Arts | Kickboxing included, Troen has been intent on learning what he can about hand on hand combat. If he is ever in a position, or in the Games, and is fighting without a weapon, he doesn't want to die. Or get his a** kicked. For some of martial arts he has had trainers. Others, like kick boxing, he has taught himself through trial and error. Even though a painful method, it has gotten him far. Some of the martial arts he has learned teach him to fight with a weapon. (i.e. Sword, staff, scythe)
•Archery | Another skill Troen practices in his spare time. Well actually more like a hobby or sport. When he isn't making his fists bleed on a punching bag or sparring with someone, he will take his bow and arrows hunting. Not that he does anything with the animals. Just good target practice. Not going to say he is a master archer. He's just good at it.
•Patient | Even factoring in his manipulative and bull-headed tendencies, Troen is a patient person. Willing to wait things out or to get what he wants. He's also patient at times with people. If he really believes they are worth hearing out, he'll listen. But the majority of his patience is towards planning.
⋆ Weaknesses ::
•Swimming | It's not that he's horrible at it, he can keep his head up. He just has a little almost phobia of it. Bad experience when he was younger. Actually two bad experiences. Once when he was about five and someone almost drowned him. Then when he was nine and tried to get over his fear and nearly drowned himself. So he prefers not swimming if it can be avoided.
•Independent | Having practically raised himself for the majority of his life, it made Troen very independent and self reliant. So he has a bit of a problem taking orders. He'd rather make his own choices. Not that he's too keen on leading either. He's more of a loner than anything. So if he does end up in a group or with followers, they may want to make sure they have a plan just encase he might not actually consider them in his own. So if he ever was in the Games. It's unlikely he'd be in the Career pack long if at all.
•His Mother | Not really a weakness so much as a fear. Out of the public eye, Ashen Heins can be a scary woman. Even to Troen. Especially to Troen. He's seen her at the worst of times. So he makes it a point to keep out of her way. Especially when she's on a rage/rampage.
⋆ Family ::
Mother - Ashen Heins - 32 - Mayor
⋆ Occupation :: Student - Career Tribute
⋆ History :: Okay, living in District One is never really too hard. Especially when you're the mayor's kid. Which was probably one of the reasons Troen tries to take chances and be a bit rebellious. Life is boring if you don't have to do anything. Even with Career training. When you've gone over everything at least twice when you're ten, you start looking for harder challenges. Which was what Troen did. Even though he was pretty much raising himself, he never felt neglected or closed off or isolated. Unless he made it that way. He would find growing up and raising himself a challenge he enjoyed and planned to overcome. Troen didn't have parent problems, being as his father he never knew was dead and his mother hardly talked to him. So there was one less issue he had to face. Though when he did talk with or is around his mother, he is always careful. Knowing what lays beneath that open bright mask she uses as mayor. It's all a facade. Which he's known since he was younger. Not that he's ever really had a problem with it. He just doesn't do it himself. He's exactly how he is on the outside as he is on the inside. Though when at home he is a bit more docile then when he is out around people.
