Though the sky was heavy with clouds and pools of blue haze and wind called out with ease, Rabbit did not feel whole, no. Call it a sixth sense, call it paranoia, something just wasn't right. The white wolf, white as snow arched her head upward to the sky as she sang out a lone howl. A howl so soft and depraved it was almost heart aching to hear. Where was he?
It had been days, long days without him. Parting was never easy for the white wolf, perhaps self worth was lacking; all she knew is that alone, she was weak. Alone she was outnumbered. She needed to find her counterpart, and she needed to find him quickly.

There it was. That familiar howl that undoubtedly made Wander's heart stop a beat every time with out fail. He lifted his head to the sky and sniffed the air. The male had been out tracking various prey in preparations for the hunt. It was very important to make sure there would be enough food in their territory for when they needed to hunt.
The hunting time was approaching fast now. Faster then Wander actually thought it would.
All of these thoughts went to the back of the wolves mind the moment he heard that lonely howl. Wander turned tail and started back to White Rabbits call. Every time with out fail, that call would summon him. This was not true for most other wolves.
