Her hoof falls were silent in the long grass that still poked through the light covering of winter snow. It wasn't clear to her where she was going, but she didn't really care. A new adventure had to start somewhere, it was just a matter of finding the beginning.
The mare danced happily in the small clearing, letting her hooves move back and forth, only slowly bringing her forward. Two steps forward, one step back. It might have looked a bit like a Cha Cha to anyone who knew what such a thing was. Her cape billowed around her shoulders, moving in an invisible breeze that she created with her own motions.
As she danced she came upon a creek that wasn't frozen over in the winter chill. A refreshing drink was always welcome. Before she could bend her head to drink a small green whisp curled up around her ears, fluttering it's small wings as it slowly transformed itself into a dragon. "There's someone over there!" The whispy dragon squeeked in her ear.
The mare followed the gaze of her small companion, to the other side of the bank where a stallion had also stopped to drink. She tilted her head for just a moment as she studied his form, an unusual tail caught her eye, something she'd never seen on a Soquili before. It was only a moment more before she called out to him, being a bit brash and never afraid to make a new friend. "Hello there!" She yelled across to him.
