It was a clear, cold night and the moon was full above. Wings Sleep stepped out from under the tree to stare at the moon. Her breath came out in a fog as she was excited for this night. It was a special night for her, the first full moon of the new year. The winter night creatures were calling to each other softly and it was almost music to her ears. Closing her eyes to feel the MotherFather under her hooves, the doe started to sway.
The heartbeat was her music and the moon was her audience. It didn't take long before her hooves lifted to move. She danced just like nobody was watch, which to her was true. She was almost positive that nobody was around when she danced like this.

Grasswhistle stiffled a yawn as he wandered through the swamp. His insomnia had hit again, and no matter how many times he tossed and turned, he couldn't get back to sleep. At least it was beautiful tonight...
A movement in the distance caught his attention, and he tilted his head quizzically at it. What could it be?
Without another word, he headed towards it, each step bringing him closer to the object of his curiosity.

Caught in the thralls of the dance, Wings danced. Her hooves dug into the the dirt, kicking up small clots as she picked up the pace. Her tail lifted, hitting the base of the tree she had stood under a few moments ago. Even still it did nothing to stop her from the dance. One thing made her miss a step, a sound to her right and she turned to look, while still moving to the dance music. "Hello?"

His jaw dropped open as he realized it was a doe, dancing beautifully in the moonlight. Part of him felt guilty for spying on her, but she was just, so... entrancing... The way she moved... he just couldn't take his eyes off her.
It wasn't until he saw her turn and call out that he realized he had been discovered. Yet even as she did this, she never stopped dancing.
He flustered, but slowing stepped out of the clearing, revealing himself to her.
"A-ah, sorry... I didn't mean to spy. But your dancing... it is such a beautiful thing."

Her step faltered as a buck emerged. Looking at him, Wings smiled to herself, understanding how she could have missed him as entranced as she was with the night. "No need to apologize. I wasn't expecting another kimeti to be around." She moved a little to the side, staying still was a hard thing for her on nights like this and she didn't have any young ones to teach.
"Do you dance in the moonlight...umm. Sorry, what is your name?" Her voice dropped a bit as she was feeling a little rude."Mine name is Wings Sleep." Her body twitched in anticipation.
