Roll a Six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Genesis leaned back against the trainer's stand, a scarred Lucario by her side. She was disguised as the battle-loving trainer as she often was when she chose to visit the Stadium, and she waited patiently for her opponent-to-be, knowing it could take a while for one to show up.
She pressed the field randomizer after a moment however, to give her Pokémon some time to study the field he would be battling in.

Zinnia was also clad in her undercover outfit. She and Shadow Mew looked over the field. "Electric," Zinnia said. "That's okay; it won't give us a disadvantage!"
She looked across the stadium and once she spotted the trainer she would soon be battling against, she grinned and waved. "That lucario looks tough," she said quietly to her mew. "But we can beat 'im."

"Okay, let's get this started!" Zinnia shouted. "Go, Shadow Mew!"
Shadow floated out into the stadium. She was momentarily distracted by the sparking floor, but she didn't have to worry about avoiding the electric shocks from her safe place in the air. She doubted the charge was strong enough to reach her, though her downy fur was already starting to stick out due to the static electricity in the air.
"Let's begin with a Rock Smash!" Zinnia commanded.
The small mew balled one paw into a fist before zooming at Erebos to land the hit. Fighting types weren't usually her style...

Genesis frowned when she saw the Pokémon Erebos would go up against. Legendary Pokémon weren't given the title for nothing -- the Lucario would have a hard time with this battle.
"All right!" she responded with an eager voice, hiding her concerns. "Let's return the punch with a Poison Jab!"
Erebos entered the field when he scented an opponent approach, dodging the sparks of electricity that buzzed between the towers. His fur stood uncomfortably on end and the male felt as if an prescence was weighing down on him. He ignored the feeling, however, to do as he was asked.
Moving with the Rock Smash that struck him, the Lucario quickly jumped behind the Mew and attempted to strike her.

"Shake it off!" Zinnia encouraged. "Use Fire Blast!"
Shadow zoomed quickly to safety, but it was too late; she felt a dark, sickly feeling come over her, and knew she was poisoned. She grit her teeth against the pain and, after taking a deep breath, summoned a ball of fire between her forepaws. She shaped the flames for a moment, allowing them to grow larger on hotter, before taking careful aim and hurling it at Erebos.

The poison didn't seem to have taken as well as Genesis would have liked, but it was better than nothing, she supposed. Still, the mew still held the advantage. They would have to even it out a bit.
"Calm Mind!"
Erebos growled when the attack struck and the scent of singed fur filled his nostrils. He disliked being burnt and, having gone through his fair share of flame attacks during his lifetime, was eager to return an attack. He could hear his trainer asking for something different, however, and he complied with little resistance.

That Calm Mind looked like trouble. "Ancientpower!" she called out.
Shadow gave a small gasp as the poison took its damage and faded away. Then she summoned the power of the earth itself to raise her own defense against what was to come; she was certain that the battle-scarred pokemon wouldn't go down easily.

Erebos wouldn't let the Mew off so easily. He continued to raise his own power in response, ignoring the trills of electricity that ran along his fur for the moment.

Shadow's eyes flashed and she buffed up her own defense. Using the rock-based attack seemed to make the electric frizziness of her fur lessen somewhat, too, which was comforting.

Erebos growled -- they'd be at this forever if this continued. As his Calm Mind stopped, the steel atop his paws began to glow with a blue ring, and a sharp Metal Sound was directed towards the Mew.

Erebos snarled, but he wouldn't let all the attacks go to waste. Quieting the threatening rumbles that seeped from his maw, he once more used Calm Mind.
((LOLLLLL okay I think neither can use any sort of stat stuff anymore since they've both reached the four max limit now. XD))

Shadow has +100 defense, Erebos has +150 attack, so he does base 150 now, or super effective 200.

"Let's do some damage, Shadow!" Zinnia said finally. "Another Fire Blast!"
Shadow swooped down after creating another lively ball of flames. She sent it zooming toward the lucario like a miniature meteor.
