The lake was beautiful.
Crisp, clear, pure. All the things you wanted from it. The type of water you could swim in without being harmed but you didn't because it looked so good. You daren't touch the surface to spoil the silent calm exterior. If you looked hard enough you could see the fishes that inhabited it, the plant life that grew from it and the odd random show some idiot had decided to throw in to it. That wouldn't do.
You see Sailor Ate had grown to love this lake. It was somewhere that she could come and sit and stare out across without thinking twice about what was happening in the city. She didnt shun her responsibilities, she would fight the good fight but before she would leave to go home and rest, to snatch as much sleep as she could, she would come here.
And now some dip s**t had tarnished her lake!
She stood at the southern point, the area most dense with tress and shrubs and she held out her arms, closed her eyes and called forth her attack. The lake flickered briefly as if a pebble had been skipped along its edges. It did it again and then another. Soon the whole surface was blubbering away as the lake reacted...no not the lake but the items polluting it. She stood for a while, making sure every last piece was now dripping above the water, it was forming into a ball, curving into a solid structure before her very eyes as she waited for it to finish. The ball itself was very big, for Ate made it a little hobby to clear it out every now again. Well she had too, her powers may feed of pollution but she didnt create it. Humans did that. Destiny City did that. The people she protected did that.
She brought the garbage ball down fighting the urge to throw it at something. It was horrible and smelly and still dripping gunk. It wasn't easy but at least the city's dumping grounds weren't a hundred miles away, she had yet to learn how to throw it into the sun. She may how powers but she wasnt that strong, not yet anyway! But at least now, now she could sit and stare at the lake untainted.
and sulk of course.

There was another senshi in the area…or at least what felt like a senshi in the area. Albireo had found a lake the other day, and wanted to go back to see it. It seemed fitting, the senshi of swans to visit a lake. A sarcastic voice in her head was taunting her and saying it was swan lake, but. That was just. It was all just whatever.
Slowly, she made her way towards the lake and couldn’t help but let out a small gasp. It was so much…cleaner now then it had been the other night. Like there had been some sort of fundraiser to clean it up or something stupid like that. She glanced around, then spotted the other senshi standing a few yards away. “Hello over there…you just out coming to visit the lake as well?”
She didn’t want the other girl to mention anything about a youma or the negaverse. She didn’t want to do any of that crap tonight. Well, if she could help it at least. Sailor Albireo was just not amused anymore. And she hadn’t been for a long, long time.

The appearance of another senshi took Atë by surprise. Not that she didn’t think for one second that Senshi’s didn’t patrol the park but that she feared it would mean a Youma was in close proximity. And just like Albireo she really didn’t want to be doing that tonight. Heaving a sigh she gave a small wave to the new coming, running her eyes over the senshi’s outfit as she walked a little ways to meet her. The girl looked like a princess in her fuku! It was beautiful, all pristine colours and fantastic feathers. The total opposite of the slut look Atë was going for. A small pang of jealously hit and then dissolved, she could never pull that look of anyway, leave it to cute girls to look fantastic in big skirts and fancy tops.
“Hey, yeah…I really love this area, its about as far out of the city you can get without actually escaping the dam place…Not that trying to hide from my responsibilities that is! I mean, am totally fighting all sorts of green eyed monsters out here.”
She gave a cheeky wink before grinning to show she was kidding but the smile never reached her eyes as she joined up with the new girl. Spotting a fallen tree she signalled for the other Senshi to follow. That was just Atë way, meet up with a total stranger and invite them to chill out with her. It was a wonder she hadn’t been murdered yet! Leaning against the trunk she pulled out a packet of cigarettes and skilfully lit one while peering over the top to look at the girl.
“So what brings you out here missy? Oh and the name is Atë, am the Super Senshi of Pollution.” Pointing to the lake with her free hand she motioned across it. “I come here to clean the place up every so often, I mean I may have the most disgusting sphere as a power but I do try and do my bit for the environment, even if it is against my very nature!”
