In a cold sweat, Morcinna sat bolt straight in her bed, panting. She'd gone to bed early after spending the afternoon mopping up stray youma. She clutched her chest. It felt as though something was tugging at her soul. Looking down she was startled to realize she had transformed in her sleep. She frowned. "What's going on?"
Looking around the room, Ebony her guardian was conspicuously absent. She was starting to wonder if he was hiding something.
Her eyes were pulled to the open window. She started to close it.. then thought better of it. She was already dressed, what would a quick sweep of the city hurt?
