It isn't often that the doe watches others from a distance. Not really the sort of thing she's used to. But he's right there, acting morose, almost depressed. The ultimate expression of angst, unhappiness. And he looks so dreadfully thin! She can't help but be worried about this stranger's well-being... even though it's none of her business. There is enough danger in the world from the outside, without having to worry about the kin self-harming or starving themselves. It has nothing to do with how attractive he is, she asserts mentally, as she stays in her vantage point from behind him. She doesn't dare circle around to get a better view of him - her reflective hide is risk enough of being seen at the best of times - it hardly acts as good camouflage, and with the sun having recently set, the risk of catching his glow on her hide and being spotted makes her almost fret.

Of course, it's not long before Glimmer and Gloom break her cover, scrabbling about in the bush to draw the stranger's attention. She steps around the bush with a purposeful stride, trying to seem as though she hasn't been watching for the past long while.

After all, she doesn't want to make things awkward.
