((This Rp was started on AIM.))

Orangeish Sherbert
Bellatrix had been running very late from a clients house, trying to arrange the wedding for her son to some girl from out of state. She was rather tired, and just hoped that Millie was okay at home by herself. She was supposed to have been home two hours before, but she had called the child and let her know she would be late, and here she was, on her way back to her car now. Sadly, the client lived in a rather large scale apartment, so her car was in a garage a block down the road. All this walking was making her feet hurt a bit. She still despised the one who invented heels.

Holy Blasphemy
Mica was out, skulking the streets and upscale neighborhood unhappily. This was not her typical territory, and she felt decidedly out of place. The fancy cars and nice houses made her feel twitchy and irritable, and she was looking for someone to take it out on. Eventually she spied an unusually pale woman, who she proceeded to follow down into a parking garage. Easy territory.

Slipping around the corner and into the garage, Mica crept quietly towards her prey, grateful that she had had the foresight to rip off all the annoying jingly trinkets her uniform came with. Once she felt she was in range, she aimed her spear and hefted it at her target, hoping to strike a shoulder.

Orangeish Sherbert
The spear made contact and Bellatrix let out a surprised yell, the thing now sticking out of her shoulder. "What..." Why was...a spear? "What is going on?" She looked around, then reached up, trying to pull the spear out of her shoulder.

She had hit her target, which was somewhat pleasing. She strode up to the women, eyeing her from beneath her hood.

“ It slipped.” She said blandly, by way of explanation. It was a lie of course, but she hardly owed this woman an explanation. She’d mess with this woman, take her energy, and then leave. If anything, the woman should be grateful that she wasn’t lanning on killing her. With that thought in mind, Mica reached out to yank back her spear.

Bellatrix let out another cry, hand reaching up to her shoulder, growing somewhat paler as she felt the warm, sticky liquid that was beginning to spread down her jacket sleeve. Aw, crap.

"It slipped? Young lady, why on earth do you have a spear in the first place?" She was almost thirty, she now figured that anyone and everyone must be younger than she was. Besides, why else would someone be running around in an outfit like this? "The next time something like this...'slips', you could end up killing someone!"

This woman, Mica decided, was not very bright. She had to be if she actually believed the nonsense excuse Mica had used. How many people these days wandered around throwing spears?

“ That would be unfortunate.” She agreed blandly, fingering the blood staining the tip of the spear. “ People are much more useful alive.”

Dead people had no energy to give, whereas live people could recuperate and provide more energy; simple logic, really. However, people did not have to be healthy to provide energy, which was quite unfortunate for the woman before her, as Mica was in the mood for a bit of sport.

“ I should practice to avoid… accidents.”

Mica nodded slowly, as if she approved of the idea, before whipping the butt of the spear out at the woman’s head, attempting to knock her out.

When the woman spoke of practicing to avoid accidents, Bellatrix gave a little nod, then opened her mouth, intending to agree, when the end of the spear collided with the side of her head. Instantly she saw stars and let out yet another cry, falling to the ground, hands going up to clutch at her head.

What was going on. This wasn’t some sort of game…she could see that now…but…Why on earth would someone be attacking her? What had she done?

Her vision swam and she curled up, trying to defend herself from any more…’accidents’ with the spear.

Well. Some night this was turning out to be.

The woman was down and Mica was satisfied. Irksome screams aside, she hadn’t had the chance to say anything else irritating. Perhaps a little more pain was in order then, to keep the woman from running her mouth. Mica aimed the spear tip, prepared to thrust it down, when a shout stopped her.

“ Oi! What chu think you doin’?”

Mica glanced up and blinked. A rather large woman was standing several feet away, gripping a new frying pan still covered in plastic wrap.

“ I done called da cops already, so you get on outta here ‘fore I teach ya some manners.”

This was unexpected. The woman, whoever she was, seemed unafraid of the armed woman she was confronting with a skillet. Mica was confident that she could take the woman out, even with her frying pan, but it was the thought of cops that made Mica pause. This well-to-do neighborhood was located close to a police department, and police tended to respond quickly to calls in this area. There simply wasn’t enough time to put the woman out of commission, gather energy, and pull a vanishing act.

Sneering, Mica allowed herself a final, spiteful jab at the curled-up woman before she turned and retreated. The moment she fled, Marie hurried to Bellatrix’s side.

“ Oh, you poor dear. Dere should be a ambulance comin’ soon, so you jist hang tight.”

As she spoke, Marie tugged off the scarf she’d incorporated into her hair-do and bunched it up before pressing it to the woman’s shoulder wound.

Bellatrix heard the sound of another voice, and gave a little frown at the accent. What was that…It was kind of…

The spear jabbed at her once again, causing another small cut on her arm which made the woman wince. Why on earth was this happening? She just didn’t understand. All of the talk of the terrorists around…could it all have truly been real? Were there really people who just ran around with spears intending to hurt people? It was madness!

She blinked her raspberry colored eyes and looked up at her hero for the night. It was a woman who seemed to be very kind, though when the pressure was applied to her shoulder wound, the albino let out a hiss of pain. That was not a very nice feeling.

Her ears were ringing and she thought there might be something in her hair from where the spear had collided with her head. She hoped that whatever it was it wasn’t blood, though. It could be anything. Her mind wondered for a moment as she drifted closer to unconsciousness, though her eyes opened wide then. “My daughter. Please. You have to go to my daughter…She’s too young to stay home alone by herself, she’ll be so scared…” She didn’t know the woman that was helping her out, but someone needed to watch out for Millicent if Bellatrix was going to the hospital.

“ Yer daughter? I can look after ‘er, dat ain’t no problem; I like myself some company.”

Marie could hear sirens now, and they weren’t too far away. Figured that they’d answer such a call right quick.

“ Normally I’d stay put, but dem po-lice will wanna take my statement ‘n stuff if I do, and who knows how long dat’d take. Can ya’ tell me where your house is at?”

Your average person would probably ask more questions, or wait until the police showed up and tell them the situation, or even go see the girl long enough to drop her off at a neighbor’s, but not Marie. The idea of going to a stranger’s house to watch some unknown girl didn’t bother her in the least. In fact, a small portion of her brain was already putting together a list of possible things she could cook for dinner.
