Rolled a Two: Rock Field: Tremors ripple forth from center-field as the basic floor shifts to a rock and dirt field. Rock towers emerge forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an advantageous attack position. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirs the loose sand on the field, creating a mini sandstorm that reduces visibility. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ROCK type attacks. This field reduces FIRE type attacks by 25 HP.

Genesis hefted a Pokéball out from her belt, its excited shaking revealing her battle-loving Rattata's enthusiasm for the upcoming battle. The trainer sighed as she released the ever-eager rat, glad that this time, at least, Leto had waited for her to summon her before dashing out of her own free will.
"Get ready, then," she said exasperatedly, making a shooing motion with her hand. "I'm leaving this to you."

The bat fluttered in before it's trainer, flapping its wings above his head as the two of them entered together. Zak gave a small wave towards Genesis

Genesis waved back, more out of politeness than anything, and sat down. She knew Leto could do her own thing -- all she would do was wait to take the Rattata to the Center.
Leto chittered with renewed vigor and she ran to the field of rock and stone, preparing to (hopefully) beat another opponent into dust.

"Alright Zue, lets get this ball rolling. Lets start this out with a Shadow ball!"
Zue flapped his wings entering the field after the command. It took him a few moments to map out where his opponent was before he unleashed a ball of shadow directing it right at his opponent.

The shadow was much more solid than it looked. It struck Leto at full force, bruising her. No doubt, every attack she went through from here on out would wound her more.
Clicking her teeth to express her disapproval, Leto ran with a ready Crunch to return the favor.

"Its alright Zue, lets counter with an Air Cutter!" he ordered his Zubat.
Zue had been hit by the Crunch attack. His wings flapped vigorously causing a wind to whip through the arena, setting an Air Cutter straight at his opponent.

Leto struggled to maintain her footing as shards of air sliced past her, her teeth gritted to express the difficulty she encountered. Thankfully, the attack hadn't been strong enough to knock her off her feet (although a paw did sustain a cut, the poor thing), and the Rattata retaliated with a blast of Thunderbolt that sparked through the sandstorm.

"Zue lets counter with a Confuse Ray!" Zak shouted out towards his weakened pokemon.
Zue gave a high pitched screech as it was hit with the thunderbolt. The flapping of his wings had weakened however at the poor little bat, however he focused and attempted to confuse his opponent.

Leto leapt nimbly along the field, seeking shelter behind an outcropping of stone. The rays hadn't gotten her, and she took advantage of the brief lull afterwards to aim another bolt at the Zubat.

Getting hit with yet another bolt of lightning nearly seized up the poor bat's wings. After recovering itself the bat sent yet another ball of shadow at the rat.

Leto was hit squarely in the jaw and she fell roughly to the floor. She snapped her teeth cautiously as she regained her footing, but although her mouth worked fine, a new bruise at her side ensured any attacks from her opponent would be more harmful than usual.
Hoping to end the battle quickly before the other could take advantage of her weakened state, she sprinted towards the bat and tried to hit it with another blast of shock.

Once again his poor little bat was hit by the bolt of lightning the rat sent out at them. "Zue hit it with Air Cutter!" since confuse ray worked sparatically for them they would have to give everything they got to attacking and hope that the rat's next attacks would miss.
The bat's energy had slowed drastically, but he wasn't ready to give up yet. Leto squeaked in pain at the next strike. It left her dangerously wounded and winded, but she was still better off than her opponent. Growling, she sought rest behind a mound of rock and aimed another Thunderbolt from her somewhat-fortified position.
