GAME RULES
♔ There will be at least two games a month. We will have sign-ups a week in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, but those who signed up come first! Those who signed up and didn't show will be penalized in their next game's reward. If you've signed up, showed up, but have to leave in the middle of the game for any amount of time, let someone know and walk off the board so we can fill in your space. Having to wait on an AFKer will kill the game.
♕ One game will have a bet. All players will need to donate 100 gold to the guild captain, Different...Very. The team leaders will donate 500. The winning teammates will win 150 gold and the team captain will win the rest. If we get some donations, or I get hold of the old treasurer, the prizes will be higher for the same entry fee. wink
♖ All players should wear the team colors so that the leader can keep track of who's on which team. Anyone who didn't sign up for the game should show up and have white or black outfits ready to fill in! It would also help to dress up your avatar like the piece you are.
♗ If you are caught cheating or bribing, you will be kicked from the guild.
♘ Sportsmanship is a must. Don't be a sore loser. Don't try to be the boss if you're not a crew member or team leader. Too many bosses and it'll just turn into a power struggle. Let the team leader make his decisions, let crew members keep everyone settled.

♚ Please check the guild and make your presence known at least once a week!
♛ Let your friends know about us! You're as good an advertiser as we are, and the more members the better!
♜ Please don't post anything non-chess related in the main forum. You can chat about anything in the Offtopic Discussion subforum though!
♝ Treat your fellow guild members as you'd like to be treated; if you all make sure each other are having fun, we all enjoy ourselves!
