In the middle of the night, Freida sat bolt upright in bed, her body moving before her brain could register something had happened. But she came awake fully, alert, and grumpy. She could tell already she was not about to fall asleep again any time soon. Dammit! It was the fifth night in a row that this had happened!
She made herself lie back down anyway, trying to avoid the inevitable. But her legs were restless, and the sheets wrapped themselves around her too tightly, and the comforter was doing everything except comforting. It was like- like her body knew something the rest of her didn't. With a growl of annoyance, she kicked her way out of bed, and got dressed. Dressed warm. She was going to take a nice, long, tiring walk. Walk herself to exhaustion if that's what it took!
With not a thought for her parents, except to leave quietly and lock the door behind her, Fred strode out into the frigid January night. She walked as fast as the snow on the ground would allow, and was soon sweating beneath the layers of clothing. Dark houses and yards all around, bright white snow, lambent lightposts, and deep, heavy silence.
Her anger carried her past all these, until she found she'd stopped. In a playground. The restless feeling had stopped, too, and Fred couldn't help but think that this was where her body had been trying to take her these past nights. Which was ridiculous. Why a playground?
Still...
Minutes later, Fred was riding a bright purple frog like a bucking bronco.

Pippin had been in the playground, the whole time. The whole time. He couldn't believe his tiny little eyes. He had never ever seen what he had just saw. It was a bit odd and this was coming from a talking cat. He tilted his head a little bit and wonder why she was riding that horrible looking animal.
Why was this little cat at the playground, well he like to stare at the shiny little poles that were place there. It often cleared his head when there was a lot on it. Maybe riding the frog did the same for this female? He sure hoped so. He shook a little. Something was strange about this girl...she wasn't just a normal girl. He moved a bit closer to her to gain a better sense of her.
AHA! It was his bear! His wonderful little bear. His odd little bear but his bear nonetheless. He moved quickly to her side and let out a big giggly "Hi! I'm Pippin! And you're my wonderful bear! How are you! I'm so happy to see you!" He said tearing up a bit.
It had been a long time since he had found another animal and he was just so overjoyed that he couldn't help to go over there and tell her. She was beautiful. Everything about her shouted that she was his wonderful bear.

I- Th- Wha? Fred stared down at the little cat, frog forgotten. Talking cat. Yeah, the talking cat took priority. Dear god, he even had a little mantle with tassels. As the frog slowly rocked to a standstill, Freida closed her eyes and rubbed at her temples with her gloved hands. Okay, what did you do if an animal started talking to you? Was this a dream? (Seemed kinda cold for a dream.)
He seemed friendly, at least. Maybe she should try... talking back?
Getting off the frog, Fred slowly crouched down until she was as close to the cat's eye level as possible.
"Hi, uh... Pippin?" she replied, incredulity coloring every word. "I'm not a bear, and I'm not yours. I'm a human, and my names Freida. Call me Fred. Is this- Is this a dream, or are you actually talking to me?"
Wait a minute. "Are you crying?!"

Yippe! She was friendly! Very friendly. Most people he meet question his existence and didn't want to talk to him. He watch her get off the horrible little frog with joy. She was coming closer to him. His little bear was coming close to him. He was so excited! Overly excited, if you had to ask him. "Hi! Yes you are, silly and your mine. Well Maybe I should explain it but yes your my bear and if you ever ever ever need just call and I will be there! Ok! Don't worry something magnificent is going to happen to you real soon Freida!" blink and smiled up to her before continuing . "Sorry, I don't short hand names. I think Fred is nice but it's a bit boyish and I rather call you Freida, it fits you better." he said smiling again.
Moving close to her, he rubbed her hand sweetly. " I'm actually talking to you! Isn't that exciting, my wonderful little bear." he said pausing to brush her cheek. "Sorry, I tend to cry. I'm overly emotion. Something you will get use to very quick! Anyway on to why I'm talking to you! You're a sailor scout and I'm your cat. So that means I get to come to your house to store my shiny toys. No exception. Taila's house is getting pretty crowed and I need to stash my stuff somewhere, yanno what I mean!" he said giggling.
Oh this was exciting! His team was coming together once again. "Oh yeah! I should tell you how to become your wonderful self, but I guess there isn't really isn't too much rush since there isn't a youma around. We can just chat. How wonderful! This is going to be a breeze. I like you Freida! You're nice and beautiful and my wonderful bear!" he said hopping on her right shoulder, purring loudly.

This cat did not just talk, he gushed. Fred was hard pressed to process everything he said, but she held still and let him rub up against her. The novelty of a talking cat was still holding strong. However, as she puzzled through what the cat- Pippin was saying, her face fell into a decidedly un-amused expression. Did he just give her an order?
Talking cats could get her attention, but knowing how to talk definitely didn't entitle him to her obedience. Fred stood up and gently removed Pippin from her shoulder. She held him under his forearms at arms length so she could look him directly in his shiny, anime eyes.
"One: Slow down, I'm having a hard time understanding you. Two: From what I did understand, you think you can call me Freida. No. You want this 'chat' to continue, you call me Fred. Three: I am the exception. You don't get to store anything at my house without my permission. You don't get to come to my house without my permission. I have a dog, and he might be fat, but he's tenacious, and he will waddle after your furry butt until he has something cat-shaped to chew on. Capiche?"

It seemed that his bear was just as pushy as he was, too bad Pippin was at top of his game or he would give in. No one push this cat around, not even Talia. He frowned as the female grabbed him off her shoulder. "Hey! Careful there! I'm delicate and small and it doesn't take too much to hurt me!" he said still with a smile on his face.
He had to tread water carefully. She was upset and any sudden words or moves would make her run off like a bat from hell. He cough a bit and began to speak, "One: I will slow down as it seem that you can't fully understand me. Two: I will and forever will call you Freida. Sorry, I again don't short hand names. And you will come to need me so you will get use to it." he pause to bop her lightly on her nose. "And three: You're not the exception, sweetheart! I am! I'm not afraid of a dog, I am a talking cat, yanno. I can defend myself against the stupid little thing. Now please, can we start on a better note! Please my little bear! I have a feeling that something is going to come and ruin this perfect little moment. I just know it!" he said with a friendly smile.
Yeah Pippin didn't know when to stop. He'll never know how to stop so hopefully this girl was understanding or this was going to be a long night.

Freida's frown grew deeper and deeper as Pippin talked. The bop on the nose didn't help, either. The little cat grinned like a Cheshire and bossed like a school marm. Deciding that she'd had enough of... whatever this was, Fred put Pippin down on the ground, and loomed over him.
"Okay, so as I understand it, you're still going to call me Freida, you still think you can come to my house without my permission, and you called Patton stupid." she said, tone decidedly hostile. "That's three for three, p***y-cat. I don't know why you think I need you, but I can tell you I sure as @#!% don't want you! Now scramble on back to Disney!"
Face red from anger, Fred turned and stormed off, deliberately avoiding the path back to her house. If this cat decided he was going to follow her, she wasn't going to go and show him where she lived.
"Wonderful leedle bear!" she muttered to herself, mocking Pippin in a high, squeaky tone. "If I was a bear, I'd eat him."

And he was dropped, pretty hard in fact. He frown and patted his fur down. "I'm sorry Miss Freida! I didn't mean to make you made but those are my conditions." he said huffing. And he didn't think Patton was stupid but he just assumed that every dog was as dumb as Wookie and that poor animal was dumb as bricks. As he watched he leave in the opposite direction that she was just facing his face grew into a sour frown. He didn't want to admitted it but he had picked up a sense of a youma. Something he didn't want to think about when arguing with his wonderful bear but he couldn't denied it anymore. And the sense was coming from the same direction that Freida was walking towards too. He places his hands on the ground and ran after her hoping he would catch before the youma did. "Freida! Please listen to me! Don't walk that way! Please! I know you don't want to listen to me right now but I think you should. It would beneficent you greatly." he said in a rush squeak. Grabbing and holding on her pants leg and holding on as tight as his little hands could.
As he did, the thing that he had sense for sometime loomed out. About four feet ahead of Frieda sight. It was tar in hue and just a bit shorter then the female. It was dripping black goo from it's body and it look like over-large slug. It moaned and wail and the cat huffed a little. "See I told you! STOP WALKING, WOMEN!" he shouted.

Fred ignored Pippin's excuses, pausing only to pick up a fallen branch and take a swing at a nearby bush to send the snow flying away in a spray. She really wanted to hit something now. Something tangible. Something crucial.
But she liked animals too much to entertain the thought of sending the little cat flying beyond a brief, red-tinged fantasy. Instead she swung at the snow on the street, using the stick like a golf club. Watching the streetlight glitter through the explosions of snow was enough to occupy her attention for a few moments.
Then two things happened at once. She heard the cat running toward her, yelling something, and she smelled something awful. She nearly gagged it was so bad. She concentrated on the surprise and pricking pain of Pippin's claws as he latched onto her leg to keep from retching. Pippin finally yelled something intelligible through his high-pitched babble.
"STOP WALKING, WOMAN!"
The stench grew stronger, and now that Pippin had shut up, she could hear the low burbling wails and moans coming from just a few yards ahead. She looked up, and flinched, her Pippin-free foot taking a step backwards, away from the enormous Tar Slug.
Girl stared at Tar Slug. Tar Slug burbled at girl.
Abruptly, Fred smiled. She hefted the stick in her hand, getting a better grip, and took a practice swing in the Slugs direction. She'd wanted something to hit, hadn't she? Lifting the stick overhead, she took a deep breath, and charged at the slug, yelling a battle cry as she went.
"METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!"

He saw what was going to happen but he didn't want to believe it. No one was that stupid to run up on a youma without being in power forum. Surely Freida wasn't that dumb or at less that bold. He latch harder on her to try and stop her from moving but he knew there was no hope. Oh he lovely bear was lovely but gosh darn it was she stupid. "Miss Freida! STOP" he wailed after her battle cry.
He watch the tar slug. He knew there wasn't any hope. "Frieda! Please listen! Please! Stop! It's going to kill us both is you keep charging! PLEASE JUST STOP!" he wail louder. As she charged closer to the youma. He could hear it laugh. Almost knowing that this human was stupid to try and attack it and all this cat could do was wail his little heart out.

Fred could barely hear Pippin over her own voice, and quite honestly, she wasn't listening. The Slug just sat there, waiting for her, and she obliged. Putting her back into the blow, she swung the stick down towards the Slugs' head. It hit with a bodily squelch, and for a moment the things eyes disappeared. Fred felt a thrill of satisfaction, until, the Slugs' head started to reform. One gooey eye stalk rose around the stick, a dull red glow meeting Freds startled face.
Well, $#!*.
She tried to yank the stick back out for another swing, but it held fast. All her tugging served to to was alter the angle of the stick, turning the monster into a lopsided Slugicorn.
She put her foot in it. No, really. She literally lifted her Pippin-free boot and stuck it in the body of the Slugicorn to try and get more leverage on the stick. Instead of giving her leverage, however, her foot began to sink into the body.
"$*%^@! C'MON!" she yelled, getting angrier by the second. She tried pulling her foot back out, but the Slugicorn seemed to be pulling her into its body. Aside from that, however, the monster didn't seem to interested in attacking. Apparently, it felt it didn't need to, since the human was doing all the work for it.

His face slam deep into his paw. He loved his little bear already but she was not the smartest and this was something that they needed to work on and soon. To think before she acts. She swung the stick and Pippin grabbed her leg even tighter. This was going to be a bumpy ride. What he didn't think was going to happen, happen. He blinked as he saw her other foot kick the tar slug. What was she thinking. Did she have any clue what tar was! That it was nearly impossible to get out of.
Ok. He had to do this or both of them out die. He grabbed her pin in one of his paws and used his other paw to walk up her side. He sated on her head and placed his face right in front of her. "I'm sorry Miss Freida but you're going to have to listen to me if you don't want to die. And you don't listen I will leave you and let you fight this thing by yourself. SO, take this pen and please for the love of everything Call out with the biggest passion you have and say "Ursa Power make-up!" Can you do that?" he said. He hoped she would listen because he wasn't sure what to say if she didn't do this.

With her two hands still clutching the stick, which was the only thing keeping her upright and away from the Slugicorn, Fred felt Pippin's claws scratch her as he climbed her like a tree. Oh, what the hell, why was he on her head? A star and two bright green eyes appeared in her field of view. Fred blinked, and finally paid attention to what he said. Unfortunately, so did the Slugicorn. With an ominous burble, it began to pull Fred in faster, its eyestalks stretching up the stick to try and entrap her hands as well. Fred let go of the stick, wobbled, and quickly grabbed hold again. Dammit! She couldn't keep her balance without it, and she didn't want to fall into the damned Slug! She let the Slugicorn engulf her left hand, and reached up to take the pen Pippin offered. A pen?! How was a pen and yelling at the Slugicorn supposed to help? Fred didn't see any other option at this point, the gooey tendrils of tar were almost up to her elbow. F*$% this. "You better know what you're talking about, cat." she growled. He wanted passion? He got it. "URSA POWER, MAKE-UP!" Fred howled, putting all her pent up anger and frustration into the cry. Like sticking a fork into a light socket, Fred felt a surge of energy, and an explosion of light burst all around her. She barely had time to register that she was free of the Slugicorn, because she was spinning, and the light was gathering around her, and then. She was back on the snow covered street. The Slugicorn was still there. Pippin was still there. It took Fred a second to register that the only things to have changed was that she was free of the monster, and that she'd had a wardrobe change. There was a long pause as Fred processed this. "Okay, that was pretty badass." bunnyilove Sorry for the long, long wait! You still up for this rp?

Pippin smiled and carefully let go of his bear and clapped his paws in delight! "Well how about that! See I told you Sailor Ursa! Aren't you a happy little bear" he said happily, hopping back and forth on his tiny little paws.
His bear, there she was right in front of him. His foul mouth little bear, but there she was. He smiled and quickly smiled. "Ok Sailor Ursa! I'm going to teach you something even cooler then that! Ok Ursa, quickly face your palm toward that ugly tar thing and yell out "Arcas Charge" but make sure you have good aim or it might miss him and be real careful about this because you can only do this two times and if you miss two times we might be out of luck but something telling me that you will get this the first time!" He smiled with a smile.
He lightly clapped his paws togethers and smiled again. He couldn't wait to see his bear in action." This should kill the horrible thing and then we can talk if you have any answer!" he said in almost a hyper active squeak.
