Orion had settled down to watch some of his favorite space themed cultural movies when he suddenly remembered the mail. He let out a sigh as he paused the movie and reluctantly begun the long journey down stairs to retrieve the forgotten prize.
"Okay... bill... bill... spaaaaaaam" he sighed. "commission... biiil.... Fury?"
He paused in mid envelope shift and took a closer look at the name printed on the cover. That... was pretty creepy. He looked back at the steps, returned to the envelope than back at the steps.
"Well, I guess this looks important." He noted the 'urgent response request' stamp in red ink on the center of the long white envelope. Hopefully she wouldn't explode again. Orion chuckled to himself. That chick was -hot-. OH the pun. He felt very clever.
After looking at Fury's box for an address he made the trek back up the stairs and begun the hunt for her apartment. He passed the famous "burnt hall", took a moment to gawk at it with mouth ajar, before continuing to her apartment door.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"Hey, uh, Fury. " He called and knocked again. The door moved a little. Open? That seemed a little off for someone of her attitude. "Hey, I got some of your mail in my box... looks important..."

She tossed her mail onto her small coffee table as she headed to the bathroom, she closed the door, or at least thought she did as the soft throbbing in her head continued, that idiot. she grumbled blaming her headache on Orion. it had taken a great deal of focus for her to deal with that guy and the human before. Stressed, and tired, she looked at herself in the mirror and glared despite the airs that she put on she hated herself now and how she looked she never wanted to be like this, she wanted to go back, back home.
It was all their fault those vile humans that had taken her from her trainer, and destroyed her. A deep growl emitted from her throat before she punched the mirror where her face was with the same hand Orion had bandaged earlier. the mirror shattered as cracks ran through ought expanding from the point beneath her fist Fury didn't know why she kept fixing the mirror, she just kept breaking it. She hated this half human form and always seeing it reminded her of what she lost.
Irritated, she was again as old memories surfaced, hurriedly she opened her medicine cabinet, she didn't want those memories flashing in her head, she wanted them to go away. Where was it? she thought frantically looking through a shelf full of prescription drugs, some of the bottles dropped on the floor as she searched through them quickly looking for the strongest one she grabbed it finally hidden in the back, a tranquilizer of sorts the orange pills popped out and fury grabbed the water glass she kept by the sink before putting three or four in her mouth and swallowing back with some water.
It took a few minutes before the drugs hit her system She closed her eyes as though trying to block out the memories, she stumbled into her small living room as her mind became fuzzy and the memories less important than before, she stumbled trying to get on her couch and fell clumsily on the floor, she was too tired to get up now her eyes couldn’t focus on what was in front of her anymore so she stared blankly at the ceiling before rolling on her stomach, she wasn’t even sure where her tail was at this point, not that she cared she wanted to sleep.
She didn't even hear Orion voice.

After the loud 'thud' Orion shoved the door open with his free hand. As the door bounded off the wall he held his hand out to keep it from shutting on him again.
"Fu- Oh man!" He yelped as he saw the corner of the couch ignite from the tail's contact. The flame was already licking the ceiling as if it were a delicious sweet.
"Dude! Wake up! AHH-common man!" She was out like a light-bulb!
Orion sprang forward and grabbed at her wrist than begun to tug her backwards. It was a wonder that the fire alarm had not- *RIIIIIIIIIIIEH EIIIIIIEH RIIIIIEH* the obnoxious sound came along with the flashing blue lights in the hallway. (( No joke, as soon as I got done typing that a fire tuck went past the building with it's light and sirens a blazing...XD )) In an instant the mandatory sprinklers in the apartment turned on. Orion welcomed the cool water for a moment before realizing the hissing noise coming from her tail. He dropped Fury's wrist and jumped over to her tail. The moment would have been more heroic if he had not been so absent minded. For starters; his face, as he tried to shield the tail, was too close to the fire still gorging on the couch. His forehead received a nasty slap from the flame leaving evidence of the assault. Secondly -as he remembered from his own trainer's fist pokemon- a char-pokemon's flame was a life source for that pokemon. He leaned over her tail to prevent the sprinkler water from snuffing it. However, he was leaning too low and managed to singe his own shirt from the tail flame.
Orion whimpered a bit. Ironic how the least affective element could still be quite painful when not careful.

Fury was quite content to sleep through the fiasco not even hearing Orion, until the alarm sounded. Slowly she opened her eyes though they seemed vacant, to her even the sound was sluggish and it felt like it just droned on, it was the pitch that woke her. something was hitting her face, it felt cooler and it fell down her face to the ground, water? was it water? did she spill a glass or something when she fell?
Fury pulled back her hand that was strangely in front of her she didn't remember putting it there, but then again she had blacked out. Fury still gazed absently as the carpet in front of her though her gaze fell to the door, the open door. It took her a good few minutes to realize what an open door meant once again. Who was it? her mind moved slowly through possibilities and she still didn't move... maybe she'd just forgotten to shut the door.
Luckily once the fire was out the sprinklers stopped, Fury was soaked except for her tail which Orion had very carefully protected, Fury pulled her tail back around away from the couch and closer to her though the movement was slow and sluggish her tail eventually made it close enough to provide her with warmth, with the water all over her she was cold, Fury shivered as though trying to raise her own temperature.

Once the fire was out, and Fury begun to stir, Orion corrected his posture and took a step back. The adrenaline was still pumping, but now he was at a loss of what to do. He stood there with his tail still twitching as an outlet to all the energy he had build up until Fury tucked her tail close to her own body.
"Hey? We should probably evacuate... Dude? You okay?" He crouched down to try and get a good look into her eyes. His right hand waved in front of her face twice before he snapped his fingers and whistled. "Hey, common."
Of all the things to have happen, this was the strangest. Yeah, he could try to carry her outside to the evacuation area but she would totally explode again. Maybe this was because she exploded in the woods? Do eyes dilate when one explodes?

Who was talking? was she hearing something past? No someone was nearby, she knew this person? it seemed to give off a vibe of the sort, it wasn't a threat. Why wasn't it a threat? Most things she perceived as such. Not that it mattered she wanted to go back to sleep, and just lay there. It should just leave her alone.
A hand waved in front of her face, though she just seemed to stare past it even after the snapped fingers though the reaction was incredibly slow. Her eyes tried in vain to follow the hand instead they tracked up his arm to see his face, though to her it was still quite blurry, though this time she tried to focus and failed all she managed was a blurry outline her eyes became rather unfocused again shortly after.
".... who?" she managed to whisper this person talked
Evacuate? evacuate where? Why did she have to go, her tail would keep her warm and she was comfortable here it smelled right, like charcoal and smoke. Reminded her of a campfire, like when she used to travel with her trainer, those were some good days, a soft expression smile and a giggle found its way from her. But to Orion it would seem almost alien.

"Dude, you're freakin' me out..." Orion leaned back and debated shaking her shoulders. Where was that very angry fire cracker? This was almost bipolar.
Anyone leaving the apartment from this floor must have used the exit on the opposite side, no one walked by the door. Which would have been helpful if someone passed by to help. Outside he could hear the sirens of the fire vehicles responding to the apartment's alert system. The firemen could help.
A soft ticking noise came from the bathroom, as if something light and plastic met the ceramic floor. It was distracting enough to pull Orion's attention away from Fury long enough to get a glimpse of some kind of bottle rolling under the sink cabinet.
"don't catch anything on fire again. Stay." He held his hand up as if commanding a dog before he slipped off to the bathroom to see what that bottle was.
The bottle was without a lid and it's large orange contents were strewn on the floor. Orion scooped the pills back into the prescription bottle than turned it around to read the label.
"Woa, man, Tranquilizer?" He leaned back to get Fury in his line of sight. Is that what happened?

It would be some time before Fury could really say anything, he'd have to wait to hear the story behind the heavy tranquilizers she abused. At least the heat from her tail had dried off the water both on and around her. The Charizard never used to be as angry as she was, she used to be very open and sociable. That all changed when she lost everything.
Fury on the other hand only heard a mumble from Orion as he headed to the bathroom, she slowly tried to get up dazed though she nearly fell backward as she got to her feet, somehow she managed to stop herself from falling that far back, her wings dropped at her side almost dragging on the floor, they bobbed lazily as she walked to the porch still in a dream daze, amazingly she was able to keep her tail from burning anything as she stumbled a few times on her way. She wanted to feel the sun, and her room was too enclosed.
She stared through the glass looking far beyond what seemed to be there as she took about 5 minutes to open the sliding door to the balcony and then tripped out landing against the railing, she didn't feel the warmth she was hoping but she couldn't really tell, she mind was fuzzy, in side her mind it was a warm sunny day so long ago.

Orion had decided to check up on Fury at just the right time. The bottle of tranquilizer slipped from his hands as he made a sprint for the open door. The heck was this woman doing? Tranquilizers should make someone fall to sleep right? Unfortunately he was none the wiser about the matter.
"Dude! What are you doing?" Orion reached out to put a hand on Fury's shoulder. "I don't think you can fly like this. Snap out of it! Hey 'common!"
From the excitement his tail flailed about behind him, making contact with the frame of the door several times. Maybe Leon would know what to do? Hopefully the firemen would be up soon... It was like babysitting a bomb. Orion was counting on the odd behavior as safety from being exploded.

Fury had no intention of flying just staring, in essence she was sleep walking with her eyes open, Orion's words didn't even reach, her legs felt weak again loosing balance she slumped against the wall sliding down it eyes still gazing blankly. she leaned her head back and gazed up at the sky absently before they closed again, she was still tired, and fell limp again.
Her mind was far from empty as she continued to dream, old places and the battles fought there, she was happy back then compared to now, she was happy to be what she had been, she still couldn't really adapt in this new form, she didn't like it in the least, how could she?
"Home..." she whispered under her breath fondly.

"uh...." Orion stood there dumbfounded by her words. She was at home?
With a deep breath and some mental preparation he made contact with her shoulder and begun to shake it just slightly.
"Hey, why don't we get back inside. It's less... fallable in there."
Footsteps echoed in the hallway before a figure appeared in the door way. One of the fireman... wartortle, or was once. That was an obvious guess by the big white tail sticking out of the uniform trousers and the huge white ears sticking out of the helmet. Any other feature was blocked by the full uniform.
"HEY! IN HERE! A LITTLE HELP BRO!!" Orion waved his free hand as he called to the guy.

Whoever that was wouldn't let her sleep, drowsily she managed to open her eyes, she looked aimlessly around before getting to her feet rather oddly, as though she was open to the suggestion she stumbled a few times as she walked her wings still dragging on the ground the flame on her tail playing as though it wanted to cause more of a fire.
Fury didn't pay any attention to the fireman that walked past the room, it took them long enough to get to this floor, though her mind was hardly focused she moved toward her bedroom, this room was familiar enough to her she could even asleep navigate though the single apartment.
The charizard's gaze turned back to Orion, for a moment before she began back toward her room there was a moment of recognition before it vanished under the drugs.

Thankfully she didn't stumble toward the opposite direction and over the balcony. Orion exhaled a drawn out breath before following Fury back inside. He rubbed his forehead. That burn was starting to itch now, maybe the fire dude would have some ice?
"I think she's had one too many tranquilizer bro." Orion pointed to Fury as he turned his attention to the firefighter. "Not sure what to do, she kind of explodes sometimes when ya get close."
The fireman mumbled something in his radio about "backup", completely ignoring Orion, than leaned back out of the door and made a motion with his hands signaling for someone to come "this way". "We'll take it from here sir. We need you to evacuate with the others." The guy spoke with a deep muffled voice.

A team of medics came into the room at the fireman's call, one female doctor and four men carrying some sort of stretcher. The nurse regarded Orion for a moment and gave a nod of thanks "Thank you for telling us we'll take it from here," she said sweetly, almost melodic.
The four men looked to the woman doctor for cues as to how to get near the pokehuman without injuring themselves.
Fury slowly turned to see the arrival of the doctors instinctively the charizard became on edge, it was a subconscious reflex from her time in a lab, though this made her more volatile most of her mind still slept her actions were on pure instinct alone not a thought passed through her mind. She tensed, she wouldn't go down without a fight, she didn't trust doctors, the memory was rooted deep in her mind and no matter how hard she tried she'd never forget.
Fury began to growl dangerously, as though daring the doctors to approach and see how well they fared against a skilled fighter. Fury held her ground at the top of the stairs.
"It's ok we won't hurt you." the human doctor called softly.

Orion had one foot out of the doorway and was slowly picking the other up to progress his step when he turned his head to see Fury in a fighting stance. His feet moved quickly to get him back in the room.
"Uh dude, careful, she'll explode... might wanna like, have a fire-proof someone get close." Orion warned. Though he might not look it and though he might not be up to par with the legends of his own type, Orion had been in many battles before and was able to recognize a stance when he saw one. At least when he was more focused with his mind not being so absent. "I don't think she's gonna listen."
The wartortle fireman held his hand to Orion. "Sir, you have to evacuate. We've got it." He than turned his attention to the medics and Fury.
