Background: The two sisters were both born on a sunny days in Floaroma town. However, their mother died giving birth to Fleurette. When Nesrin was seven and Fleurette four, their father died of a sickness. Nesrin, with Fleurette in tow, fled the town and wandered the routes. They traveled for at least a few months, avoiding hostile pokemon and curious trainers. But their energy soon ran out. They were hungry, and tired. They arrived at Jubilife city, where Team Galactic found them. They took them in, and trained them hard. Really hard. Both had a talent in battling, and so, Team Galactic drilled them over and over again and honed their battling skills. The two became tools in Team Galactic's plans. They traveled across the region, doing cruel work in Team Galactic's name. They got stronger and stronger, until they were ranked with some of the strongest trainers in Sinnoh.

But there was a difference of opinion between the two sisters. Fleurette had always felt that they were doing something wrong. That they shouldn't be working together with Team Galactic. Nesrin, on the other hand, loved it all. She loved the glory and pride of beating down a pokemon, the adrenaline she gets when battling. It didn't matter whose side she was on. As long as she could battle, she was happy. But not in the normal way. She had to absolutely crush her opponents. Nesrin was corrupted, sadistic, and cruel.

After nine years, when Fleurette was thirteen and Nesrin was sixteen, Fleurette decided that she didn't want any more of Team Galactic, and her sister. Fleurette tried to escape one night, but Nesrin found out. They got into a heated battle. It was close, but Fleurette was able to win and escape. She spent the next few years traveling as an honest and hardworking trainer. Nesrin stayed with Team Galactic until the end, when Team Galactic was disbanded. But following soon after was the Orre Government's worldwide message about the human and pokemon experiments. Nesrin loved the idea immediately. Fleurette hated it. The two sisters decided to train as hard as they could so that they could fight the government, or work with it.
