Okay, so it was a little belated, but damnit, Mac wanted to fight Shun. Actually, he still just wanted to punch things. Things were getting better with Lizzy, his life wasn't on rough waters anymore (or at least as rough), but there was always that little bit of unfinished business in Shun.

He wasn't still bitter about that punch, no he was not; and if there was ever a punch he was going to get revenge for, it was Shun's because, let's face it, Herryk was scarier.

Or just bigger.

"Okay, lets do this." He said after going through all the hoops to get Shun to the Gym (which involved nothing more than pounding on the other Reaper's door and saying "Bring it, b***h" until they somehow ended up there). He didn't summon his weapon, at least not yet.

Shun had not forgotten about his unfinished business with Mac. And he was somewhat aware of the happenings that went on between him and Lizzy not too long ago. He didn't quite know things were on the mend at the moment, however. In any case, he wasn't angry any more, but he certainly was not happy with the other guy.

When the challenge was finally issued, he spent little time to gather his things so he could head to the gym to face the other Reaper.

Once there, he spotted the psychopomp, who didn't have his weapon drawn just yet.

...They seemed to be at an impasse. He was all ready to go punch that b*****d's face in, but...the other Reaper didn't move, and what was the fun in hitting a stationary target?

"Well?"

Shun had been waiting to see if Mac was going to make any moves. When they were both just standing there, he went ahead and got into stance. Unlike with most other fights he had been in, he didn't summon his daggers right off the bat. Those would come in later on.

Once he was ready, he made a motion towards the other Reaper to come.

Oh good, so he wasn't going to stand there like an idiot! That was good to know. Grinning, Mac lunged forward, wasting no time in throwing a fist at the other Reaper.

Mac turned out to be more quick than Shun anticipated, and as a result that punch had caught him on the side of the head pretty squarely. Reeling back a bit, he shook his head before stepping in, aiming a kick right for the side of the other Reaper's ribcage.

Mac grunted as the kick hit his ribcage, causing him to knock off his balance; trying to gain it back he grabbed the leg that kicked him. He pulled on the leg, using it as leverage to shoot his elbow out at Shun's chest...or maybe his face, it was kind of hard to aim.

Being brought down onto his back, Shun soon let out a grunt as he felt Mac's elbow smash into his chest. Gritting his teeth, he lashed out at the guy's head to try and get him to let go.

Oh, Mac backed up all right. But not after reaching out to slap Shun.

Yeah. He went there.

Feeling the slap, Shun shook his head before quickly making his way back to his feet. Letting out a breath, he narrowed his eyes, annoyed with that last strike Mac decided to pull. Right now, he was getting a little tired of this brawl so he went ahead and summoned his daggers. From there, he stared down the other boy, crouching down.

He didn't attack just yet.

Truth be told, Mac was laughing. A lot. He thought the slap was the funniest thing in the world, and quite satisfying to boot. Shun's narrowed eyes only gained a cheeky grin, and when he noticed that the daggers were out. Oh good, it was weapon time! He extended his hand, his staff forming in his grasp.

He launched the attack again, swinging his staff like a club.

Shun was just about to unleash his FEAR, but the smack he received from Mac knocked his aim off as he teleported. Once he was done striking the air, he cursed lowly to himself a few feet away from the other reaper. Things were not going to his favor. Apparently he hadn't been training hard enough as of late. It frustrated him even more, seeing how he wanted to get back at the guy for not only making Mitsu cry, but Lizzy as well.

When Shun teleported away, Mac laughed again. That was almost more fun than slapping him! Almost. He looked at his staff and then at the Reaper a few paces away. He chucked his weapon at the boil, losing it from his grasp entirely.

"What's wrong with you today?"

Shun needed to focus. Taking in a deep breath, he pushed aside the aggravating feelings Mac had stirred up within. When the other boy threw his weapon at him, he stepped out of the way, grimacing at the question he tossed up at him. Well there could be a few answers to that question. Perhaps he was simply too weak. It was the answer his Father would have given. Perhaps he wasn't trying hard enough, or just wasn't focused on the task as he thought he was.

Regardless, instead of saying anything outloud, he just rushed towards Mac, swiping out at his face with his left dagger.

Mac gasped, feeling the sharp bite of the dagger across his face. It cut him enough to draw blood, and if you asked him was enough to hinder his sight, which was his excuse for why his kick to keep Shun at bay was so poorly aimed.
