The Weekly Update Thread Let's kick this thing into high gear! Now that we have a main plot, let's focus on the room plots! In this thread each room will post updates so that we can keep this thing organized. It will also be useful for other rooms to get ideas, and to plan crossovers. Think of this as "10th Annual Ball Planning at a Glance!"

Cast and Character Names: HOLLY (Misty and Silver), Viola/Cesario (Silver), Rome (Misty), The Captain (Vellick), Liette (Chi Chrono), and an unnamed character (twlip).

Art Status: not yet (likely will be done by one of the Hosts or cohosts)

Funds Status: Not received; however some funds have been raised by members of the room already.

Ohh yeah! I've been waiting for this! I'm snagging this week for Robayn!
Room Name: High Adventure Room
Date: Jan. 21, 2012
Room Plot Status (with short summary): Main idea done, our climax basically figured out. Medieval theme, romantic. The Queen is throwing a ball (possibly for the Boy King's name day?) and the Prince and his followers show up. The Prince steals the Queen's "heart" (figuratively speaking, a pendant of sorts), and sets the Queen off. She has to obey anything (as long as it's PG13) that the person holding the "heart" says. The Knight, a vigorous servant of the Queen, is completely out of his mind and does the same. It is passed on from guest to cohost to guest, etc... It all ends with a mushy-gooey romantic thing between the Bard and Queen. PLOT MEETING Sunday, Jan. 22nd, 7PM PST.

Room Name: Dream of Flying Date: Jan 22 Room Plot Status: We're doing airship pirates, as you already knew! c: We have a meeting later tonight at 9pm to flush out more ideas, and a thread where people have been making suggestions. So far, we're thinking that fairy dust has occasionally stopped working because of the Gaians not believing in magic and dreams. We might also have a villain that is causing this. Cast and Character Names: Boop.Crossovers: Was asked about one, but we're not sure how to work it in yet. Still considering! Banners Status: We have Harmonic in our room. c: Because we're lucky. If she gets swamped, I can afford to pay someone else / do it myself. Art Status: Haven't found an artist yet! Though we have a few talented artists in our room. Game Status: We have discussed a few lolsy minigames related to fairy dust's magic pooping out. Funds Status: We've been planning an art auction of our own for awhile now. Honestly, not worried about funds, as I have plenty to donate. Problems: I had to lose two team members (nightscapture and zrofyre) yesterday due to inactivity. We gave them ample notice and told them that they could rejoin us if whatever was keeping them on hiatus ended. One of them gave me a vague idea of what was up months ago, but thought it would be resolved in a week or two. One I just haven't heard from. But I had talked with eran, and as sad as it made us, we felt we should move on assuming we won't have them for the ball since it's been months. Luckily, there are still 7 of us, and that's more than enough! Other: Do I get a cookie for sending Broken updates of my own? c: -cookie whore- ♥

Room Plot Status (with short summary): We discussed a few possibilities for our room, including the room shrinking, people fading/people losing their memories... We haven't really decided anything definite yet.
Cast and Character Names: Broken and Chibi are the king and queen, G-Fire is a bad@$$ sphynx guard, Ink is a smexy centaur gardener, and Alv is a cutesy goblin sorceress. (correct me if I'm wrong anyone)
Crossovers: none yet
Banners Status: not yet
Art Status: we have artists among our cast, but we haven't discussed anything yet
Games Status: someone mentioned a labyrinth?
Funds Status: not given yet
Problems: 4 people who applied for the room and were accepted (1 co-host and 3 official room roleplayers) haven't responded since we went active

Room Name: Dream of Flying Date: Jan 29 Room Plot Status: We're doing airship pirates, as you already knew! c: We have a thread with our suggestions and meeting results from last week, and another few meetings scheduled to take it further. So far, we're thinking that fairy dust has become short in supply, due to fairy magic and dreams being tied, and Gaians dreaming less. Our ship is fine, because we have a resident fair- OH NO! We got robbed by another team-rocketesque band of pirates (called The Nightmare Crew)! Now we barely have enough dust to stay afloat! We better catch them and get our dust back quick, and our on-ship-fairy better double-time it to make some more, or we might just fall out of the sky! Cast and Character Names: Boop. (Added characters of the Nightmare Pirates: Cabaret (Angel), Caleb (Eran), and Chipotle (Pinkie)) Crossovers: Was asked about one, but we're not sure how to work it in yet. Still considering! Banners Status: We have Harmonic in our room. c: Because we're lucky. If she gets swamped, I can afford to pay someone else / do it myself. Art Status: Haven't found an artist yet! Though we have a few talented artists in our room. Game Status: We're going to have different quests / mini games related to each of our crew. When each game is completed, that member of our crew will give them a personalized coin (which will just be an image.) When a guest collects all 7 of our coins, they get a prize. (Ex. Pinkie's Homemade Fairy Dust. Guests will have to help Pinkie gather ingredients to create an experimental dust to try and replace our depleted fairy dust supply. ...Hope nothing explodes!) Funds Status: We've been planning an art auction of our own for awhile now. Honestly, not worried about funds, as I have plenty to donate. Problems: Timezones. Timezones. Timezones. Luckily, the 7 of us are all active and can communicate via threads, even if meetings are hard to coordinate. Though last week we had one with 6/7! So doing good. Other: I only had 5 crackers to eat this morning. I'd sure be grateful if someone could suggest another food for me to nom on. ♥

Problems: Ooooohhh SNAP! Yeah, plot meetings are a epic fail. Last week, no one showed up, and this week both hosts can't make it. We have wonderful co-hosts though, so we'll pull through. Third time's a charm! That's my motto now. ^
