Imarogbe was thinking, and thinking hard. Of all the time that he'd been on his own, only now was he beginning to seriously consider why he was there in the first place.
Yeah, there had been much fun and adventure, but there was an actual reason as well. The young lion knew that he needed to find a banu to bring home with him. If he didn't fulfill his quest, then he would never truly be considered a respectable pad.
The fact was, Ima knew that every male in his pride had, was, or would complete this quest, however, he wasn't quite sure how to go about doing it. Outside of his mother, he didn't really know much of anything about lionesses, and he certainly didn't know how to catch the eye of one.
Not being a particularly violent lion, he didn't entertain the thoughts of brutally knocking out a random female and dragging her back home. Ima wanted banu that at least liked him and that he himself also liked beyond their appearance. Unsure of how to proceed, he simply wanders about, wishing that his mother were here to aid him.

Sinua had been spending her last few days wandering around the rogue lands. Really she had spent her whole life wandering around the rogue lands. When she was in the rogue lands she liked it in the rogue lands, she liked moving around and she liked going place to place and seeing new things she loved seeing new things actually and living out in the rogue lands constantly gave her a chance to look and and see new things he loved being able to see new things and the more often that she saw new things the happier she was. She flicked her hair out of her eyes as she trotted around the lands, keeping an eye out for something to do. She was very happy to go and see the new things around the lands. She also really enjoyed meeting and that made her pretty happy.
She enjoyed meeting others and today she was going to be meeting some new lions around here, to at least she was hoping that she was going to be finding some one new to be spending some time with. She could use some company that was for sure too. She really wanted to find some one to talk to and spend time with. She was a little lonely from time to time and she liked to spend time with others when that happened. She really enjoyed spending time with others when ever she could. That was all to it. She really loved to spend time with others She liked the idea of spending time with others and when she could spend time with some one else she was generally a much happier lioness. She paused for a moment and then started to trot around looking.
And that was when she spotted her company. She was ready to go make some company. She flicked her tail behind her a few times and then started to head toward her a large smile was on her face as she did. "Hello!" She greeted her cheerfully a large smile was still on her face as she did.

Aimlessly walking, Ima was too busy feeling sorry for himself and his lack of skills to notice the other nearby. What should he do? Well, he supposed that he should have picked up some advice from the members of his pride before traipsing off into the unknown.
The heady rush and exhilarating feeling of being on his own had begun to wear down as time went on, and he wasn't sure what his next step was. Lost in his thoughts, he almost didn't hear the voice calling out to him.
Quickly lifting his head up, he saw the black and emerald lioness approaching him. "Oh, hello there," he said with a nervous tinge to his voice. Somehow, somewhere between romping around with his brothers and traveling alone in the roguelands, he had developed a mild anxiety around women.
Attempting to appear calm, he thought, 'Well, here goes nothing.'

The cheerful lioness looked at the other lion with a large grin on his face. She was very happy to be hanging out and she was even more happy to have some company for the day. For the moment it was more exciting. She flicked her tail around behind her, the male seemed a little awkward but then again she knew she was really good at making others awkward because she was so friendly. She knew it too but she didn't mind. She liked being friendly, she thought being friendly was much nicer then not being friendly.
She turned toward the male and then spoke to him and giggled a little. "Hello!" She greeted once again, "you aren't from around ehre are you?" She asked him curiously. "I've really never seen you around here before. " She made a face as if she was thinking, then again she was, reaching into her mind trying to see if she had seen the younger male around here before. It didn't take her long to get to the conclusion that she hadn't. She turned toward him once again. "I hope you're not lost." With that comment she giggled a little bit, mostly to herself. "I'm sorry, I never introduced myself. My name is Sinua." She nodded to him. "What is yours?"

"No," he sighed wistfully, "I'm not from anywhere near here." It was certain to say that he was far from home, but just how far, he didn't know. Ima could honestly say that he was beginning to grow homesick. He had been gone for such a long time.
Nowadays, all that he thought of was his home lands at times, replacing the joyous freedom that had been there initially. Now, he was still having the time of his life, but he was beginning to see why the Pads always came back.
He wasn't sure that he could get used to an entirely new setting, land, and culture after being born and raised where he had been. "I am Imarogbe, and I am on my quest to be accepted as an adult in my pride. I am on my banu quest.
Heh, while I'm not lost, I'm not sure where I am, I've been wandering for a while." Thinking about it, he wasn't sure that he had ever acttually planned where he should go, and I don't know what I'm doing.

Sinua looked at the male curiously and as he said that he didn't belong here she smiled a little. she wasn't happy that the male was lost however she thought it was funny to see another stranger around here. She didn't run into other lions that often that were from prides and that wandered around here. Most of the time it was passing rogues but they had an idea of what she was doing. She had called this area home for a little while now, however she was also a stranger to these lands, she just liked it enough to stay here.
She flicked her hair out of her eyes before she spoke the male once again. "accept you as an adult?" She asked curiously. That was an odd thing. She thought it was, it was something that she really never heard of before. Being accepted as an adult. She thought you just became an adult and that was the end of it. She was apparently wrong though or at least so she found out. There was something that confused her too. "Banu?" She asked curiously, she was wondering what a Banu was, she had never heard of it before. She really never had heard of a banu before, she was wondering what it was or what it did. She wasn't that sure.
"really?" She asked curiously. "Being lost isn't fun." She mentioned frowning as she did "Being lost isn't good at all., however I'm not really that sure where we are either other wise I would point you in the right direction." She made a small frown as she looked down at her feet

"Being lost isn't fun," he repeated, "But then again, I don't really have a place to be, or live, either since I can't come home until I can find a banu." As he continued to speak, he realized, at her inquiery, that those that lived outside of the pride's borders did not use the same language and rank system that they used. "Oh! A banu is just a feminine word for a mate. Its a standard title for a woman," Ima said fondly, remembering all of interesting, caring, and exciting lioness that he'd left behind.
"We have different rites of passage into adulthood for young males and females. For a male, we are only considered adults after we had left home and found a mate to bring back with us." At this, Imarogbe sighed, and thought that he might never get back home. To be honest," he divulged sheepishly, "I don't really know how to get a girl to like me enough to want to come home and live with me."
He would be wandering the roguelands alone for the rest of his life, he simply knew it. He would never be able to go home and be considered anything more than a child. Huffing a sigh, he said sarcastically, "I don't suppose you could tell me how I should go about picking up women that might want to come live wth me?" he said mildly sarcastic.

Sinua at first was a little confused at what to think about the male and what she was saying. She was actually a little confused. Very confused actually she didn't understand of what to think about the male his explanation was strange and she didn't know what to say or think about it. She paused for a moment and then smiled at him. "Well hopefully you'll get unlost and get to head home soon." She said with a chuckle. she was normally a very happy and friendly lioness. She liked to play and meet new lions and meeting this new lion was pretty exciting to her. Although there was one thing for sure and that was that she had no clue what to say to what he was explaining.
To go out he basically had to go out into the roguelands and make a girlfriend and get her to go home with him. That was a very interesting idea but then again she knew that she couldn't actually do anything about it. She was going to have to let it go. She didn't think it was nice to say things about what others thought or did. She knew that she wouldn't like it if some one did that to her. She flicked her hair otu of her eyes and then smiled at the male. "Well it is easy to get a girlfriend!" She spoke brightly. She didn't really notice his sarcasm or for that matter really think about the fact that she had never had a girlfriend, or for that matter ever played it easy. It could be considered odd that she was going to try to give him advice. "i mean, you just have to do it right."

Imarogbe chuckled a little and responded,"Yeah, I hope I get unlost too." He began to feel a little awkward at his attempt at explaining his pride's customs and traditions. They meant the world to him, but he supposed that that wasnt necessarily true for everyone. Well, he thought, this was definitely not how you would go about picking up women. He had to figure out a better way to approach them without losing their interest.
Ima looked at her in surprise at her words. Easy to get a girlfriend? "Heh, funny you should say that. So far, finding a girlfriend has been the hardest thing that I've done yet," he said with a faint smile on his face. Although, at the same time, he could see what she meant. Ima guessed that he was being a little dramatic about it all, but life was so different for him now, and he had felt more lost than he had actually been.
Nevertheless, if he didn't do what he had come out here for, he could never return home. That alone was enough to build Ima's motivation up again. Nothing was worth him not returning home. With a new resolve, he turned to the lioness and said,"Thank you. I think I know what I need to do now. Goodbye Sinua," before heading back off into the lands. He would find a mate and finally be able to go home.

Sinua looked at the male a smile was plastered across her face. "i hope we can both get unlost!" She giggled some as she thought about it. She wasn't exactly lost herself however she didn't know where she was going. She was pretty sure when one didn't know where they were going they were pretty lost themselves. Thats how she felt. If you really didn't know where you were going but if you wanted to go some where that mean that you were at least some what lost. So at the moment she was lost and she wanted to figure out where she wanted to go but at the same time she wasn't in too much of a rush. Not as much of a rush as this young male seemed to be.
Sinua flicked her hair out of her eyes and thought about it for a moment she was trying to figure out what she was going to do or for that matter suggest where he could go or what he could do. However while she was thinking about it the male spoke and she turned back toward him and looked at him a little confused and then nodded at him. "Okay young one!" she called out after him with a laugh. "Good luck!" She called out after him as he wandered away. As she stood there though thinking about it, she had no clue what she was going to do now. She gigglged a little and started to wander in another direction flicking her tail around behind her. She was in a pretty good mood, excited to go do something for a while. She was eventually going to get unlost but for now she was happy wandering around.
