 Lissa stood from her resting position, panting and glistening with sweat. Eyes, body and mind focused she began to move gracefully, almost as if she were dancing only her moves were strategic and defensive. She fought off imaginary foes, dodging and ducking from blows that weren't there.
Suddenly she stopped, a sigh escaping her lips. She had practiced this over and over by herself. She knew it off by heart - she could do it in her sleep. It was easy to defend against foes that weren't there. Against danger that didn't exist. But what would she do if there was a real threat? Could she react in time? Would she freeze? Lissa hadn't fought anyone - not even a friendly spar. While all of her training was good in theory, she had no idea how it would work in practice.
Shaking her head, she began her movements again, moving slowly but surely, every movement precise and correct. For now this was all she could do. Practice and hope it would be enough. Hope she could defend those she loved.

 With light and silent footsteps Alexandre made his way through the forest surprisingly quick all things considered. He been bitten once again by a bit of an adventure bug, something that happened quite often. However, today it was more of a relax and stay near home type of adventure. This surprisingly did not happen as often as one might think.
When he finally made it through the last of the brush into a large and open field when he heard what sounded like heaving breathing and swift movements. Curiosity getting the better of him he began to make his way over to where the sounds were coming from trying his best not to trip over anything and possibly tipping off whoever it was that he was there. The movements he was hearing gave him the idea that someone was fighting, but he could not hear the footsteps of another close by and thus decided it was best to scope out what was happening before making himself known.
After what seemed like entirely to long he finally had reached the spot where the sound was coming from. He could smell from this angle that whoever it was, was female and obviously light on her feet. She was indeed alone but was certainly sparring. Once again getting overly curious he bridged the gap between her and him, not realizing that he left enough room for her to use him as target practice with her horn. "Hello miss. My name is Alexandre." He said with a friendly tone, bowing to her, his left wings tips touching his chest. When he rose he smiled. "I couldn't help but see what was happening when I heard what sounded like a fight." Alexandre said, now turning his ears in every which direction. "But I do not see anyone. Are you fighting alone miss?" He asked a bit confused.
