User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Name: Habibi Kamjik

Nickname: Bibi

Age: 22

Birthday: June 4th

Sign: Gemini

Gemstone:  Pearl

Blood Type: AB +

Fav. Food: Spicy lamb curry

Hated Food: She doesn't really hate anything enough not to eat it, but she's not a huge fan of mushrooms.

School:  DCU - Language major

Hobbies:

Belly-Dancing -
Dance has been a part of Habibi's life since she was old enough to walk. Her mother dropped her into the local dance studio when she was 5, and Bibi has kept up with her favorite hobby for the whole of her life since then. While she enjoys most types of dance, and dabbles in many, her passion is belly dancing, and she's damn good at it. Not only is it a part of her culture, which she happens to take very seriously, but she loves everything to do with the art. The movement, the costumes, and don't even get her started about the music. Her iPhone is jam packed with Panjabi MC, Sapna Awasthi, anything with a rich drum beat, and it's not uncommon to see her swaying to the ethnic pulse coming through the earbuds she always carries with her. For Habibi it's really more then just a simple hobby, it's a link to her heritage.

Languages -
Growing up the Kamjik family always made it a point to introduce their children to English as well as Indian, and as a result Bibi has grown up bilingual. As a teen she entered a few different language classes in high school, and she found she absolutely loved the process of learning and using other languages. Even after graduation she's kept up with that hobby, even going so far as to major in languages when she entered the university. At current she is fluent in English, Indian, and Spanish, and is competent in French and German. She's just entered Latin, and despite the language being dead, she just can't get enough of it.

Yoga -
When not at the dance studio or working her way through some foreign language work book, Habibi enjoys finding her balance and focusing her inner chi. She also enjoys the physical perks of all the unique stretches, let along the mental down time she gets to partake in while in class. It's peaceful, it's relaxing, and next to dance it's Habibi's preferred form of exercise. Though exercise might be a little strong a term. She hasn't been at it long, only a few years, since a friend at the university introduced her to it, but it's a good bet she'll be doing the downward dog and other positions for quite a while.

Virtues:

Calm -
You won't often find Ms. Kamjik in an over emotional state. She's calm by nature, meaning she doesn't get her panties in a bunch when something goes wrong, and her reactions to good things can be slightly underwhelmed. That's not to say she doesn't appreciate it when something nice comes her way, she just isn't prone to fits of excitement. Her parent's are the same, both quiet individuals that seemed to think it was unacceptable to draw attention to yourself, so they've raised their children to follow the same way of thinking. She's the girl that smiles pleasantly when given a gift. The one that actually walks calmly from a building if the fire alarm goes off. She's accepting of circumstance, and you're not likely to find her bemoaning the futility or unfairness of life.

Polite -
Politeness, along with the importance of keeping a level head, was an important lesson as a child. Habibi was taught early on that if you wanted something, you were far more likely to get it if asking politely. People respond better when talked to in a kind matter, and it really costs nothing to be respectful and polite to those you interact with. Pleases and Thank yous are a big part of Bibi's vocabulary, and she'll always hold the door for someone entering a building after her. As a firm believer in karma, she knows that treating others with polite common courtesy will only serve her well in this life and the next.

Literate -
While not possessing a notable love of books, Habibi does have a thirst for information. If she's speaking about something, she wants to be sure she's knowledgeable on the subject so as not to come off as foolish, or worst, ignorant. When something interests her, she'll research it until she feels she has a better then average grasp on it. She doesn't like guesswork or assumptions, but rather prefers to spend the time to look something up so she's 100% sure she's got the facts. Considering she's got a love for languages, it's no surprise she's got a good memory, and she puts it to use, storing away interesting tidbits and factoids for later.

Flaws:

Over Honest -
Despite her penchant for manners, Habibi has a nasty habit of being overly honest at times. This can come off as harsh, or insensitive, when she doesn't mean to be. Personally, she'd prefer if people were upfront and completely honest with her, but personal experience has proven that not everyone appreciates the same level of disclosure. Her family would be the exception, they're always incredibly upfront and honest with each other. Still, it is a habit, and it's a hard one to break. If you ask her how you look in an outfit, you had better be willing to hear that those pants make you look husky, and you should probably change.

Practical -
While this can truly be a virtue, when taken to far, as Habibi is prone to doing, it ceases to be helpful. She's the sort of friend that will give you a time to meet for something, and if you're even a minute late she'll leave without you. It's not meant to be rude, it's simply how she was raised. Time shouldn't be wasted, nor efforts. If you're a shitty friend, Habibi won't hesitate to write you off and cut ties. If it doesn't look as though a plan will work, she's likely to abandon it for something that sounds more workable. If there's an animal suffering, she's the type that would put it out of it's misery, rather then try to nurse back to health.

Introvert -
Habibi is at her happiest when she's alone with her own thoughts. She doesn't really mind groups, but crowds are tiring to her, and she would really prefer to just stay in, rather then go out for the night. She finds parties draining, and when she's stuck in a social setting for too long she seeks solitude and needs to take time alone to be with her own thoughts and recharge. She's not exactly anti-social, but it does come off this way more often then not. She's the loner sitting by herself in the library, or having a cup of coffee alone in starbucks. She's happy by herself, and doesn't feel she needs anyone else, even if she does. This makes it very hard for her to make friends, and can even make her seem unapproachable from the standpoint of a stranger.

Attacks:  These are your senshi's abilities, which will be used in battle.  These abilities correspond to your senshi's element.  Think of it as a "summary" of what your senshi can do in one word.

Sailor Scout Attack:  Bitter Hope
An illusion that makes the target feel they're better off then they truly are by making Pavo appear hurt and close to defeat. Basically luring her opponent into a false sense of security. The illusion breaks upon physical contact, or lasts about a minute.

Can be done once per battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack:  Bitter Illusion
Like above, only it appears as though she has multiplied into 4 and surrounded her opponent. She is still injured in appearance to start, but through the duration of the attack the illusions seem to heal whatever outward damage they originally had. In the end they appear in whatever state Pavo is currently in. This is meant to intimidate and confuse her opponent. Also breaks on physical contact, or lasts about a 45 seconds

Can be done twice per battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack:  Bitter Acceptance
Same as above, except her doppelgangers have substance. For a short duration, 20-25 seconds, her dopplegangers will mimic her own actions, whatever they are. Be it attack, or distract. She can produce no more then 3 other false copies of herself, and they would only hit at 1/2 her usual strength. They're also quite a bit more fragile, and will dissapaite with a strong hit to their core.

Hey Bee!! Loving this character, giving you some crits but really I am just trying to find things that need improvement and it is very hard! I think she sounds amazing.

Civilian

Flaw: The only thing I can say about this part is her Introvert flaw maybe clashes slightly with her hobbies. Belly dancing can be learned in classes and often students can be asked to participate for festivals, events or even parties. Would she shun the invitation to show off her skills and instead let the rest of the group down to satisfy her loner qualities?

Does her linguistic skills ever bring her unwanted social attention? Skills like that, especially if she is fluent in them, will bring her a lot of opportunities in her carer moves & these will inevitably involve a lot of time translating for people. Again will her choice of preferring her own company get in the way of things like this?

Senshi

Fuku: I am not sure how ‘thick’ a bikini bodice can be. I am not sure if it has to be more of a boob-tube item to get the collar & everything attached (think Sailor Birhan Isat or Sailor Polaris) so it might be something to discuss with the colourist if you get her!

Attacks: The first attack should be fine. (although it would be good to put a time limit on there too, if the attack only affects one target or all targets in the area and how many times it cane be used in a fight.) The second and particularly the third I will need to check further on. By rule senshi can not control A/I type attacks. Having illusionary shadow/shapes etc is fine as they don’t do much other than stand there or if anything mimic/mirror what your player is doing (standing/lying down etc - they can’t for example go skipping off unless your character goes skipping off!) So having an illusionary you attack your opponent on their own may be crossing the line for controlling other ‘beings’. Taken from the stampers guide - Attacks should have a FINITE AND CONSISTENT set of effects. A spell should not be able to change what it does depending on the conditions of the battle: for example, an intelligent summons that can adapt its behaviour would not be allowed. So as you can see I am no sure if your last attack falls under this rule.

Omg, finally getting back to this. o 3o

For her introvert flaw. It's not super severe, it just makes her very unlikely to be outgoing or openly friendly. She won't be rude or turn people away, but she won't go looking to converse with new people or in a group. It doesn't keep her from doing things she enjoys, it just effects how openly friendly she is to new people. =3 I'll add something like that in there just for clarifications sake as well.

Also fiddled with her attacks a little bit so they have time limits, as well as messed with the eternal one so it's less an intelligent summons, and more just a multiplication of her self, mirroring her actions.

Hey, Bee! Habibi looks gorgeous!

Most of her civilian side looks good; I have one question about the introvert flaw, though! As it stands, I don't think being an introvert can be counted as a flaw since it is mostly just the preference of being by oneself as opposed to being in a social environment, so I think this might need a little more information on it to help clarify why it is a flaw. What is it about her being an introvert that negatively affects her personality, or that people would find to be something to look down on her for? Is she the sort of person who would blow her friends off so she could be by herself, or who is flaky in social environments? Whose friends get annoyed with her because they feel like she's constantly blowing them off? Or anything! A little more info to help clarify the negatives of this trait is all I'm looking for!

For her powered side:

Basic Attack: The effects of this sound fair, however one minute is a long time for any attack to last at basic senshi stage (most eternals don't have an attack that lasts this long), so I would recommend lowering the time to either once per battle for forty five seconds, or perhaps two or three times per battle for 20-30 second durations? Either way, I wanted to clarify, 'target' is only one person?

Super Attack: This attack seems like it would work, however it doesn't fully read as an upgrade so much as another attack. It doesn’t retain anything from the previous attack, though I think if you would be willing to change it to have the same illusion as the first attack however the boost for this stage could still be the extra illusions of herself? Additionally, the total duration for this attack could extend for two minutes, which is a large portion of a battle. I think at this stage I would suggest to drop the time limit to forty five seconds and the twice per battle could still work.

Eternal Attack: This attack is neat, however I think it might be too dangerous if not careful; how long specifically would this attack last for?

If you have any questions, comments or make any changes, give me a quote and I'll be back asap!

hi Kyu! I went through and added a couple things to introvert to make it more of a flaw. I also fiddled with the second attack to make it shorter, and to make it related to the first.

The third attack already had duration in it, which is pretty short to begin with at less then half a minute. Probably between 20-25 seconds.

Changes look good! For the eternal attack, if you squeeze in the time (20-25 seconds, just to clarify and to make sure that people don't assume that it might last for, say, 15 seconds or any other random time less than half a minute) and answer a few questions about the doppelgangers, I can drop off a stamp! For her doppelgangers in her eternal attack, could someone fight them for the attack or is the target just helpless for 25 seconds? Do they take damage? How much damage could they take before they disappeared?
