I'm still underage and my mom doesn't support gay rights, so I can't exactly go vote... but I do my best to make sure on a daily basis that the people around me know not to use "gay" "f**" "dyke" etc. in derogatory ways, and I have faced people down in the past over their treatment of people of alternative orientations, and in 2012 nothing will change except that I will become more vocal and not let my voice be silenced by people who think I'm overreacting or need to shut the hell up. >:3

I will be more open with my sexuality and try to see if we have any LGBT clubs at college.... I might even register to vote. But I'm never in touch with politics.
However we deserve to have more rights and be able to love freely!

If someone uses the word "gay" and they are either using it as an insult to someone who is not that or using it as a way to tell someone they hate them because of the gender they like, then I will either tell them to shut the hell up, punch them in the face, or tell them to stop and explain why.
