While he felt great earlier, Deryk was not feeling so hot now. In fact, he felt like he was crashing pretty hardcore at the moment. He felt like he needed some sort of fix but he couldn't put his finger on it. It wasn't caffeine. He had three cups of coffee and it didn't (seem) to effect him much at all. So, to try and get his mind off of this horrible feeling, he made his way to the beach where he promptly flopped himself down onto the sand.
"Uuuuuuuuuggghghhhhh no like this feeling. Sand not helping. Aaauuuughghhghghggg..." he groaned miserably, "Why did I come to beach. Now I got sand eeveryywhere. Not fun. Not good."

Princess Judith was back at the beach shuffling around in the sand staring contemplatively at the sea. Sure he should just not even think about it but what was the harm in staying nearby? Right now he'd resolved to stay around at least to make sure Jerry had recovered fully before going back to his People.
The Princess pouted a bit and then paused at the form of Deryk within the sand. Carefully the young man leaned forward and stared down at Deryk, "Mister Seven, you are on the sand. Are you a Sand Crab?"
Princess Judith of the Dolphins had no Joy withdrawals currently. Being a Princess gave its own sort of joy.

Rubbing his head to try and snap out of this weird feeling, Deryk soon jumped as he heard another voice in the area. He hadn't expected anyone else to be around. Turning about, he saw Jude standing by.
"Sand..crab?" he blinked. It seemed like a rather odd question to ask him.
"No, not a sand crab. Why do you ask? You a sand crab or something? Actually, what is a sand crab? And what's with the toga? Hunter toga party? We having one? Kinda random."

"Hmm, no reason. I was hoping I discovered a new creature to befriend~." Jude said cheerfully.
He hummed thoughtfully as he announced, "This is not a toga this is my ball gown," with a small nod as he twirled a little in place, "though there are no balls happening right now. Very sad."
Jude crouched down near Deryk, "Did you know that ... the doors lock after you walk into the room? I had a lot of trouble trying to get out of my room, but I promised my friend Molly that I wouldn't go into the water."

Deryk tilted his head at Jude. He was talking strangely. The trainee didn't know him that well but he was fairly certain this behavior wasn't exactly normal for the other. While it confused him, it was making Tooley giggle a lot inside of his mind.
"Ball..gown? Uh. Jude. You feeling ok man? You got locked up in your room?! Um. Yeah. Better not.. go into the water," he blinked while glancing to the nearby shore. A part of him was wondering if Jude had bumped his head somewhere.

Jude just continued to act as if nothing was out of the ordinary, "Oh yes. It was for my own good, I think. They were just trying to protect me," he said sagely not specifying who was part of the 'they' he spoke of. He glanced longingly over to the water as it lapped the shore and sighed softly.
No. He made a promise. He'd be a good Princess and stay put.
"So how have you been since our chat, Mister Double-O?" Jude asked with a beatific smile.

"Uh what. Protect you from what? Who is they? what's going on here? Is there danger around? Aaah this doesn't sound very good. Is there something wrong?" Deryk began to ask, sounding a little on the frantic side. Maybe Jude really did hit his head hard.
"Huh? Oh. Been alright. Nothing too crazy happened. Well. Outside of the normal at least. Normal for here. Not really normal for back at home. Er. You get what I mean. But really, you feeling ok?"

"Everything is fine now! I am just fine thanks to my protectors~. My darling knights." Jude said affectionately with the same beatific smile. He had technically answered the question of 'They' though not really the 'what happened' he seemed fond of avoiding the 'what' question.
He nodded in agreement, "Yes I see what you mean, but really I am in perfect health. I had these lovely bandaids put on me and then a wise sage helped me~. All is well within the realms," His smile turned even more blissful as he cupped his own cheeks and just kind of stared at Deryk.

Knights? Wise sage? Realm? Jude was still talking funny. He almost felt like he was talking to some npc in a fantasy game right about now or something like that. Was the other guy always like this or was the last time they spoke an odd occurrence? Deryk didn't really know, but he had a feeling his behavior in their last meeting was more normal. He might have picked up on something odd about bandages, but he really hadn't had any experience with the... 'special' bandaids unlike many others.
"Huh. Alright. If you say so. Might want to go get a checkup soon though. You're acting kinda kinda funny."

"But Mister Double O-Seven! I had seen someone for my ailments. I am perfectly fine now," he held up his hand with the once broken fingers. He'd managed to remove the cast that was upon the fingers and now they were free and wiggling. Jude let out a small soft giggle, "Thank you for your concern. I am very touched."

"If you say so.." Deryk said while staring at Jude some more. That giggle kind of scared him. He still had a feeling something was wrong, which had him wonder who let the poor guy out in this condition? Or maybe he escaped. It sounded like quite a plausible thing.
"Ah... do you wanna head back to your room at all?"

Princess Judith stared at Deryk for a long moment after he suggested that maybe the Princess would like to go back to his room and then shrugged a shoulder thoughtfully, "I suppose I could use a bit of a nap," he sighed lightly.
Why did so many people want to lock him up in his room?

Jude looked... kind of indignant at that idea. Blinking, Deryk tilted his head at him for the moment, then motioned him to come along.
"Alright. Off we go!" he said. Yes. Getting him back to the dorms was probably a good thing. He didn't know what the hell was wrong with the other trainee, but... maybe he didn't want to know either.
Tooley still found Jude to be amusing like this.

Jude quietly moved to follow Deryk after brushing off bits of sand from his pretty, pretty 'gown' with a small sigh, "Is it really so bad that I want to go back to my home in the ocean?" he sulked quietly as he followed along, "my people miss me! Also? How will my prince find me out here on this island. This is not were I belong," yet more insane chatter from an afflicted victim of bandaids and 'alternative therapy'.

"Saywhut?" Deryk paused while glancing back at him. Ok, now Jude was REALLY talking weird. His people? Home IN the ocean? There was also the prince bit.. was Jude gay? The trainee was really confused right now.
"Uh... home in ocean. Come again? Isn't this home now? We're your people? Sorta? Can'tsayanythingaboutaprincethough.... Um. Having second thoughts of being a hunter? Maybe?"
