The door of the once-vacant dorm room opened near-silently. Though Dire knew that he had the room to himself - at least for the time being - years of habit kept his movements soft and discreet. He surveyed the room with a quick glance before making his way over to the closest of three rosewood beds. The elf was pleased to find that the previous owner had left the room in good condition. The carpets were clean, the walls were undamaged with the ornate wallpaper as vibrant as if it had been freshly posted, and the towering bookcase - this pleased Dire the most - was full; every shelf filled with thick, hardcover volumes. Gently he set his school bad down on the bed he'd selected for himself. After a few moments of rumaging for a set of new clothes he made his way to the attatched bathroom for a quick shower.
